Hey guys, it's been a great journey but I've finally hung my Stardawg out to dry! Yesterday was their last day totalling 8 weeks on flower. Realistically they could have benefited from a further week because the lower buds are somewhat underdeveloped but then I would risk losing the preferred sweet high smoke of the top buds. With this being my first attempt it's been a great learner not only for how to care for the plants but also the environment. As soon as these went into flower and started stretching I knew that putting 6 in a 2.4 x 1.2m tent was a bad idea. They just got so big which is the cause of the lower sites not being as good as the top colas. Despite that I'm really happy with the outcome and I'm hoping ive got 30oz+ of real good quality nugs. All of the top colas have turned a gorgeous violet colour too which you can see on the pictures and I absolutely love. For my next grow I've gone with 6 fastbuds strains which hopefully will go under a scrog. Check back next week for the harvest and weigh in!

So she got hit with some fricken bugs pretty bad and I tried combating them and in doing so I ended up stunting her quite a bit or I think my buds would be 2x the size. Thats alright though I should still end up with a good amount of golf ball sized buds. They really started packing on the trichomes since I moved her into a much sunnier area so I think the quality will catch up just not the size. All in all I'm happy that I am going to at least get her to harvest!! I will be using neem seed and some other biological methods next season so I won't have to spray any of my plants with any pesticides or fungicides. The ones I saturated with flower shield and organishield didn't like it very much and it ended up stunting them for up to 3 weeks which really sucks considering I'm gone on for the next 2 weeks and will need to pull everything before I leave whereas if they hadn't of got stunted It would have been in the exact time frame I needed them to be before I leave....sigh

Week 4 for 9lb hammer, have topped this plant at the 4th node finally getting some lateral growth. Still haven't transplanted just waiting for 4 other siblings to grow a little bigger before i gender text them😇 Maybe anther week before doing so.

I cut Banana Mash Autoflower down today. She got super frosty under the Viparspectra P4000. Was a good grow with a crazy frosty finish. Amazing smell as well. Can't wait to try it. Alert alarm we have a beast. The few friends who have seen her were amazed and with their eyes open, she is a real monster, in height and she is filling all the flowers very, very well along the entire length. There is a very wise friend from the early hours of ganja cultivation who always tells me that Bubble Gum is a security, he explains it with genetics now I don't remember very well why but I think he's right. You can admire it with your own eyes. The flowering is over we are just waiting for another bit of ripening of the flowers, a bit of red pistil and let's hope it gets a bit cold for the resin the spring arrives here with us. Setting up the garden of my dreams - Scroggernaut 2.0 "either yer scroggin er yer not" Old grow was a 4x4 closet inside a garage. New grow will be a 8x10 room with a 4x8 and 2x4 in 2020, and adding at least another 4x4 in 2021. My son will be learning how to grow this year in a dedicated 2x4 space, soiless mix, hand water. The additional 4x8 will be in a dutch bucket recirculating system (Thanks to GreenMachine for the advice so far, coming for more). All tables will be custom designed and made by me. Genetics will be a mix of Original Sensible Seeds (Bruce Banner #3) In house genetics (Slurricane ix) and some FastBuds testers So far in 5 days I have built the structure, and completed most of the insulating. Wiring before I finish the walls to save some future headaches. Lighting will be 3 x HLG 550 clones over a 4 x 10 foot area. This gives 36 LED watts per sqft, and the PAR rating on these lights is insane. Should be more than enough light. Day one of this week entailed me going to the hydro shop, grabbing so blue sky organics super soil, some 1 gal fabric pots and off I went. I always pot my soil then water the pots down and wait 24 hours for everything to acclimate so as to not shock my seeds. I germinate straight into the soil. I will post more pics to beef up this week! I will be planting 2 fastbuds orange sherbet beans, 1 in a 1gal fabric pot and 1 in a 3gal from the bucket company.

Hatte keine Zeit mehr die letzten Wochen zu dokumentieren. Die letzten Wochen waren sehr hart, teilweise stand sie mal für mehrere Tage drin, da draußen so ein Mist Wetter war. Da einige Blätter langsam sehe Gelb geworden sind und ich eigentlich schon mit Schimmel gerechnet hatte, hatte ich mich dazu entschieden sie zu ernten. Trocknungs Bedingungen waren richtig schrecklich. Musste die Pflanzen leider im Schuppen bei geschätzter Feuchtigkeit von 60-70%, leider nicht so optimal, ging aber diesmal nicht anders. Nach 3 Wochen Trocknung hatte ich schon leicht angst, dass die Blüten schon komplett Vergammelt sind, dem war aber nicht so. Trocken Getrimmt sind es 28g geworden, was mich sehr verwundert hat. KEIN SCHIMMEL, nichts! Sehr zufrieden mit der Sorte, sehr resistent was Schimmel aufgeht, training hat sie auch immer gut eingesteckt.

Smell is starting to get stronger but still nothing to worry about. Lemon type smell with a chemical background like nail varnish Really starting to pack on weight fast now and the trichomes are really starting to cluster up in places. She's just over half way now at 5 weeks flowering so she should really be White by harvest.

19.1. - Plants are entering their first week of flowering as the bud sites are clearly visible and pistils are shooting up! 21.1. - Watered 💧 24.1. - Watered 💧 25.1. - Wrap-up of the week: Plants went through another successful week. Lots of bud sites are visible and already developing. I've also spot some first sugar. However, I've also managed to snap the main stem on the Gelato plant, not completely. I've fixed it back, so we'll see but I must have som bad luck as this was second time during this run 🙄 19.1. - 25.1.2024
