Happy 4th everyone 🎆. I just returned from a 4 day family trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I love that place and we had a lot of fun. The girls are doing great. I filled the reservoir before I left and it's was 1/4 remaining when I returned. That's one big advantage using the auto pots. If i was manual watering, i would be able to miss watering them more than a day. The posted pictures are 7 days from the last week photos. I also took a couple videos. With this being the beginning of week 5, I increased my bloom to 12ml per gallon. It's usually 9ml. I also increased my koolbloom from 3ml to 5ml per gallon. I'll go back to 9 and 3 on week 6. Welcome to the Smoking Tiki's hut! For this grow, I'm using some of the seeds I won at the Summer Buds contest from last year. I kept the seeds in my fridge door during one year. It worked very well because all the seeds successfully germinated after 48h! 😎 I used 3x3 seeds. I selected 2x3 seeds with the bigger root to put them in some pots. I will let them grow a bit and then select the 3 best plants to make it until the harvest. It's the first time I grow some Fast Buds under a light and in a controlled environement, I'm really curious to see how it turns out! This strain is total fire, in organic soil it was amazing and now in coco it looks just as good but bigger buds. Beautiful bud colour, chunky buds and unique smell. Top shelf bud🔥

Runoff ph is a bit high this time. Don’t know why. Around 6.8. Average ph going in is 6.0. Also the big fan leaves on ice cream cakes are kind of strange shaped. Will see how they are going to look later.

Day 42-49 (June 11th - June 18th) (Day 43) I need to work on my early veg times. Things are just too slow in the seedling stage. Next round I will use a coco/Destiny blend for the better aeration and lower EC. Even with my indoor plants. I notice plants started in coco root way faster. Not just with weed either. All plants seem to like it better. Coco is far superior to peat imo. (Day 44) I’m pruning off the lower branches on my rooted blackberry clone. It’s cool to see it’s weird reveged structure. Lots of the fan leaves have trichomes on them. (Day 45) Something really weird is happening to Grapefruit #3. The leaves are browning and starting to gnarl. It could be an insect of some sort as it’s the only plant looking like that. (Day 47) It just hailed super badly and the leaves on some of the plants are pretty damaged. In my neighboring town the hail caused multimillions in damage so we got lucky here. I’m going to spray some method 1 pps prevention spray today to help keep pests at bay. I will try to do it in overcast or shade. I’m seeing what looks like thrip damage but there is no way they can survive the cold nights here. Dog shit in my yard is attracting flies which then land on plants spreading god knows what. (Day 48) Autos are still really stunted. I wasn’t able to find out how big they will get so I will just wait and see. I would guess they’re in their flowering stretch because their growth is unusually fast right now. I will probably just end up with 6-10 inch ornamental plants for autos. Definitely should have started them around mid summer in coco then transplanted. Time is of the essence with autos it seems. (Day 49) Photoperiod plants are looking really happy but growth is stunted from the cold and lack of light. I was hoping for bigger plants by now. A lot of growth can happen in 2 weeks so we’ll see. I’m definitely not transplanting on the 21st but the sooner I do it the better. The bbb clones are struggling hard to root but I can see new growth on them starting to push out. My clones are taking a really long time to establish. Every plant here, I don’t care how stunted, must be flipped by July 15th.

Man, it's been a crazy week. These past few days have been brutal – seriously cold with this crazy humidity. I don't know about you, but I'm sick of the chills and the way my skin feels all sticky. It's been a struggle, but I'm finally getting on top of things. I think I've figured out a good routine to dry things out around here, so hopefully, I'll be feeling a lot more comfortable soon. My gas tax plant's looking absolutely incredible. The buds are gonna be huge, I can already tell. It's got this insane amount of crystals too, which is always a good sign. I love the shape of the leaves, they're so tiny. And guess what? I've got over a hundred seeds from that plant, so I'm definitely going to grow a bunch of them and see which ones turn out the best.

Update Day 14 flowering : These Gorillas are behaving themselves well considering the 35°c here in the uk . They have been keeping busy with their bud stacking . Their pheno differences are more noticeable now as they space their nodes and settle into full flower production #1 is no longer the big beast and has been overtook by #3 by a good 5 inches. #2 is stacking up nicely but remains a lot smaller than the others. #4 is plodding along at the back of the room in her own space. All the buds are looking good and a few are starting to colour up already !!. beautiful strain already so can only imagine their finished result. Hoping the heatwave passes quickly now as it is way too hot here at over 35°c outside.

She was just lst'd a little he help bring her out and down. She gave me no problems once she snapped out of whatever she was going through foe the first few weeks. She has some good chunky buds and will have a good amount of trim and some popcorn buds that I left to make hash out of. A real pleasure to grow and can't wait to bring it back into the garden.

July 1st germination day Things went well. Started her in paper towel, She split the next day. Had a tap root on day 4 and placed her in her forever home. Popped out of the soil on day 6 and looks very happy. Soil is Vegetable and Herb mix from the store with a bit of perlite mixed in for aeration.
