28/11/22 - first week of bloom starts today, looking at doing another defoliation to free some sites up and removing small sites from the lower canopy - defoliated all of them quite heavily hopefully for the last time, removed small sites from the bottom

The week ends Sunday Mar-1, being day 61 of flowering since flipping the light. From first pistils shown, it's day 45 which is a more accurate snapshot of where the plants actually are in their maturity. The buds development is progressing albeit slowly and trichomes are still clear across the canopy with lots of frost on the sugar leaves. The buds have beautiful structure and quite fluffy. Swelling has started on some calyxes. Light is maintained at 30cm above the canopy, with single daily fertigation at lights on - watering 3L per day. Fertigation pH target is 5.9-6.2 whilst flowering. Stopped the practice of fertigating at lights off due to the springtales infestation. Need to allow at least 2-4hrs of lights on period after fertigation. The coco is not dry but still damp on the surface after 24hrs from fertigation. Trying to maintaining an average RH in the space at 50% but it's getting harder now with all flowers. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. Passive & active intake of air is from a closed off section of the room where the central heating boiler sits - the intake is warm air (20 degC.) and fairly dry (40% RH) during the winter months. - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - ventilation fans - aquarium heater - small oil heater - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots and 3.5L general pots for seedling stage - Canna Coco substrate and nutrients - GHE Flora trio nutrients - pH and EC/TDS meters - 2x Govee Thermo/Hygro meters (one at canopy the other at the roots level)

Fed only distilled water every 3-5days. 3 in growth this week now starting to bloom out good.just kept n eye out on the temps and humidity daily. So far no problems. Just a waiting game now. N see how well these lil ladies develoce all organic too....

The Gorilla Cookies is becoming a real monsterplant. Even though I only have a 11L pot, she is really big. The buds started forming a bit later compared to some other strains in the greenhouse but boy was it worth the wait 😊 More pics and updates will be posted as the week progresses!

GOOD MORNING VIETNAM😈💚 Week 6 Day 35: Pics from this noon. Mutants main cola is strecthing like crazy😁 like 30 cm in a week. Not as many white pistils as the other 2 girls. Tb; i topped the 2 other ones. I'm lil worried mutant cola will continue streching till it hits light😁 they continue drinking lots of nute water and no complaints yet😎 One love 💚 Day 37: no nute burn!! I was fully expectin bad nute burn when i fed them on 1600ppm😁 but they seemed to be ok with it ä, although i gave them ph water the next day (36). I might be dumb but seeing the girls are not showing any sings of slowing down or nute burning and all checks out, i gave 900ppm feeding. ( All cal w 0.5 ). Colas have starting to see first snow💚 Day 38: Morning fellow greenthumbs💚 Today i defoliated #3 mutant, did some lst aswell. Gave feeding of 1.9 ec ph 5.7. checked runoff and came as 6.3 and ec 1.9 (might be high from 1600ppm feed😂) no signs of lockout or burns👌👌snapped brach yesterday cos forgot not to train after watering🙁 but got it taped up really quickly and seems like it has maked a recovery😇 Day 39: Had quite busy day as i germinated 2 other strains so no pics. Gave girls ph water of 5.9, 1.8L per gal. No news, mutant is streching but 1 and 2 are full flower and fattening sites😎💚 Day 40: gave #3 and #1 feeding and ph 6.3. skipped plant 2 cos pot was heavy and had still lil bit of runoff. Amazing budsite and frostness development! Even the fan leaves are getting real frosty❄️😎 Day 43: All good , giving 5.9ph 900ppm feedings and check runoff. Beatiful snowy tops😍

Blue Shark is looking fab! Still a darker green than everyone else. There are 2 videos this week, one where I explain how my plan for a tomato roof using materials I already had didn't work out, and the 2nd being about the rogue who grew in my pea bed (whom I affectionately call "Rogue One") who has been raised almost exclusively on my homemade compost. I had people who were concerned last year when I made my own compost tea from the compost in my pile. People were concerned about bacteria, nutrient profile, etc. I feel like a lot of people get really regimented in their feeding, and they sort of forget that these are plants and they can adapt. They take what they need if it's available. I moved away from using mineral salts this year because you have to be careful with so many of these fertilizers so that you don't burn the plant, you have to flush it so you don't get a harsh smoke, mineral salts causing lockout, etc. If you stick with products that are natural you don't really have to worry about nute burn. You don't have to flush for an extended period of time before harvest. You don't have salts building up in the soil that are detrimental that you have to periodically flush and then add beneficial microbes back in. There is another way.

The Bubble OG plants are looking awesome! My tallest one is stacking up with super dense buds. It's crazy to think that the other one is almost ready to chop – the colors are so vibrant. And then there's that short and squat one with the purple leaves. It's definitely the oddball of the bunch, but I kind of like it. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

After a lot of research I realized that my plant needs more food. I increased the PPM to 700PPM and plant seems to love it. Also I started spraying with Neem Oil and Copper Fungicide since I noticed some rust on the leaves. Also this week I added Roots Accelerator.

6/14 Week 8 and things are going fairly well on the grow. Some issues with PH that I hope have been worked out by recaling all of them and using two to test PH. Bud building continues Basic nuets only till flush 6/15 Another day in the life... 6/16 Gave a shot of PK she is building so fast she just runs out of Phos and then CA cant do its work 6/17 Continuing PK one more day at least 2ml/gal and 1ml/gal Cal-Mag We have an explanation for the CA issues. This was bag coco not block, it came prewashed and buffered. Apparently the buffering was sub par and has degraded thus drawing CA from the plant and feed. Thus adding 1ml/gal Cal-Mag to compensate Once again DYOPW Do Your Own Prep Work 6/19 She is building buds faster than any plant we have grown to date. Going to split the cal-mag and pk feedings, morning PK evening cal-mag may just be a best practices thing and the time for both is very short Someone asked me a question on PK/cal-Mag and I didnt know they can conflict depending on the formulas involved. So safe is the word She is finishing up to flush stage anyway fewer new hairs so the ambering will increase wont be long now, within a few days.

When I photograph her in the dark with a flash, the leaves look a lot more yellow than they really are :) The girl looks pretty good :) I'm happy :)

So far, so good. I used a but of koolbloom. I'm pretty new to this, so I don't know of it will help. But here goes. Not much longer I think. May e a few more weeks. Water change on 3/9. 4 gal well water 1 tsp maxi bloom 1 tsp Kool bloom ph to 5.8. Looking good!

Day 64 - Beginning of the Final Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! We’re entering the last flowering week, and it looks like I’ll be harvesting the plant around Friday, which will be roughly Day 68. 💭 Harvest Decision: It’s a tough decision because while the buds are still growing, the trichomes in the middle and lower parts of the plant are already about 80% milky and 10% amber. I’ll keep an eye on things and plan to check the trichomes again on Day 65, two days before harvest, to make a final decision. 🌿 Trichome Considerations: I have a feeling that even after cutting the plant and hanging it upside down to dry, some nutrients might still move into the buds, potentially causing them to swell a bit more. This is something I’m curious to see. 💧 Humidity, Water, and Temperature: As I mentioned in my last update, I flushed the plant yesterday, just before the start of the final week, with 4 liters of water. This should help flush out any remaining nutrients, and I likely won’t need to water again before harvest since the pots are thoroughly soaked. The humidity and temperature are holding steady between 52-58% and 20-24°C, which I find ideal. I’ve got my exhaust system and fan running continuously to ensure no mold develops. 📸 Final Updates: I’ll check in again with an update just before harvest to let you know how things are looking. Remember, I’m posting new pictures and videos of my plant every day. 🌱 Day 70 - Last Day Before Harvest 🌱 Hey Grow-Friends! 😄 Today marks the final day before harvest, and I couldn’t be more excited! As planned, I’ve kept the plant in darkness for the last 48 hours and haven’t watered it for 6 days. My goal is to let it sit in the dark until this evening, when the time finally comes to chop it down. 🌿✂️ Drying Decisions 🌬️ After much research and considering several factors—especially the high humidity in my tent—I’ve decided to go with wet trimming instead of dry trimming. I know dry trimming is often recommended for better bud quality and taste, but my main concern is avoiding mold at all costs. So, to play it safe, I’ll wet trim the buds, get them into the right size, and then place them in a drying net for about 7 days. Timing Concerns ⏳ I’m still figuring out the best timing for transferring the buds into curing jars. Since I’m wet trimming, I won’t be able to rely on the classic “stem snap test” to check dryness. But we’ll figure that out as we go along! Final Reflections 🌟 It’s been an amazing journey, and although I could push the grow a little further, I believe this is the perfect time to harvest. SO, the girls were doing so well into their second week I decided to do the unthinkable... I topped autos! 😳😳🤯🤯 I figured they were doing so well and hadn't entered flower yet; let's do our best to keep them small and get multiple good buds instead of just one. This will also give me the best opportunity to lst them down using ties. Stayed tuned for that! The one that used to be last is coming in close third right now. She's upright and growing strong though so we'll see how she responds to the topping. 12/06/2020 Start of week #3 in flower becoming a beast.

First week of flower is over. She handled the light change and nutrient change without any issues. last bit of LST was completed and last major defoliation had also been done. From now on I will only defoliate when leaves are covering other shoots. She was already smelling strong before, but it keeps on getting stronger and stronger. Definitely not a stealthy strain in the smell department.

Another great week she is starting to look more finished. I've bumped down nutes this week and are still watering at 6.0+-0.2 ph. Next week i will start the flush and then it's harvest time 😁
