An here we are. At the end of another cycle. The end of another year, and what a year it was. For Sunshine and me personally, it was a tough year, with our families sick on multiple occasions, life-threatening. We are very thankful for many things but most of all that all our parents are healthy again. We wish your families are as fortunate in the coming year. So we end this Gorilla's life with a swift cut of the scissors, after thanking her again for the companionship, the well-needed distraction, and all the love she has given me already. I sometimes read that people won't go near their plants when they are angry or sad. Please do go to your plants when you are sad or angry! They are millions of years old. They have been healers of animals and humans since they were around. Our emotions can not taint something so pure as the spirit of this plant. She will heal us, give her life for us, sacrifice herself for our healing. She is all-powerful and all-knowing, there is nothing we mere humans can do, except disrespect her powers. Bask in her glowing light, enjoy her soothing energy, her creative spark when you are in need of love, just don't smoke her at that time, for she will soothe you bit not give her treasures, she will seduce you. Next to thanking Santa Maria for her healing, we would like to thank our friends here, all who shared their kind words, advice, and attention. Now this side of the tent seems to be doing great. At first I thought it was the air circulation with the other side so I’m still digging into that. Either way this is about these two ladies and I see the forming of pistils and can’t wait to see what kind of stretch they get into in the upcoming weeks. As for the coco vs. the rockwool way I’ve done it in the past I’m leaning towards the rockwool way. It’s easier and thus far the plants I get from it are larger. It consumes about the same amount of water although less nutrients.

Week 8: Flowering Stage Rising Temperatures and Weather Challenges The temperatures are expected to rise slightly this week, but intermittent thunderstorms and heavy rain are also forecasted. This unpredictable weather presents a challenge, but I remain hopeful for continued growth. Snail Attack I had been leaving the plants outside overnight, but during a late-night check, I found three giant slugs feasting on my Gorilla Cookies buds. These damn snails just won't give up. I'm seriously considering installing some kind of automatic deterrent system. Feeding and Watering Consistency The amount of water and nutrients remains unchanged. Each plant continues to receive 3 liters of nutrient solution in their 11-liter pots to prevent salt buildup and ensure optimal growth. Growth Observations Banana Purple Punch and Blue Dream: Both strains seem to have halted their vertical growth. They are now fully focused on bud development. Tangie: This plant is still vigorously growing with new shoots appearing everywhere. Tangie seems perfect for low-stress training (LST) and could probably handle a well-timed topping without issues. I had to do some light defoliation to make sure everything receives enough light. Gorilla Cookies: While it’s not growing as aggressively as before, it is concentrating on flowering. Despite this, it continues to gain some height. Looking Ahead As the flowering stage progresses, I'm eager to see how the plants adapt to the changing weather conditions and how they continue to develop. Despite the challenges, the plants are showing resilience, and the buds are looking promising. Update 18.07: Pest Problems Bad news, growmies. During my daily inspection today, I discovered some unwelcome pests. Some leaves on all the plants had white or silver dots, which I suspect are caused by thrips. The Banana Purple Punch plant was particularly affected, with numerous black dots on the top buds, likely aphids. I had to remove two small buds 😞. To combat this, I brought all the plants inside for a thorough shower and removed any affected leaves. I then sprayed them with a light neem oil solution, taking care to avoid the buds to prevent affecting their taste. The Banana Purple Punch plant has been isolated to prevent further infestation. I'm open to any advice or suggestions on how to handle this situation more effectively. What else do you think I should do? Update 21.07 The heat has been intense lately, with temperatures soaring to around 31°C (88°F). Despite this, my garden is showing remarkable resilience. After battling thrips and aphids, my plants are bouncing back. The Tangie, Blue Dream, and Gorilla Cookies no longer display any signs of thrip damage on their leaves. It seems the light neem oil solution has done the trick. However, my Banana Purple Punch remains a bit of a mystery. This strain appears particularly sensitive to nutrients, even though all my plants receive the same care and feeding. While the other plants look lush and vibrant, the Banana Purple Punch shows some troubling symptoms. Some leaves exhibit early signs of nitrogen toxicity, while others curl upwards with no apparent nutrient burn at the tips. Additionally, the large fan leaves are yellowing. Despite these issues, the buds are frosty and thriving. I recently checked the trichomes and found that most are still clear, even on my Blue Dream, which already has a promising main bud. It's clear that patience will be rewarded with this beauty 😍

this week was great, the V1 arrived through a lot of logistical nightmares. its the final test before mass production- i will post another dairy for it but please have a look at the pics above. ive created a stylish subtle, modern way to grow 4 plants. this will be great for all levels and will save big on energy and nutrition. you just have to prune, it can even draw water into itself. anbd its 4 plants!!! stick here and youll see it in action. ive decided to change the order in tents. now we have super strong Purple berry Kush with the returned and super strong sweet seeds Sweet cherry pie. so one tent is the strong, and the other tent is now perma auto flower, which serves for additional veg for girls who fall behind their grow peers. hope that makes sense. i think my net is pretty useless other than a visual to plan nodes. i guess the real support will come from placing more plastic rods around the colas and fastening them. hope Christmas was kind to everyone. this oncoming week will be the last week of veg i think for tent two and we flip to flower. thanks for looking.

Week 8 start tomorrow and the super fast papaya frosting is down wow what a plant! Cannot wait for the cure heavy tropical pineapple/papaya/lime notes almost like fruit salad chewits. Coated in trichomes expecting roughly 3-4 oz from her she was the smallest in mass of the 4 though she must be sitting very high on THC & terps. Another week for the zkittlez probs another 2 for the frozen biscotti 🔥🔥🔥

CHERRY 🍒 COLA by FASTBUDS WEEK #3 June 15th-22nd Week #2 Veg This week she's doing great outside no issues to report this week. She's made the transition to outside effortlessly.

I got a new light for these ladies cause it was clear my other lights weren’t doing justice. I went with an affordable option which was a Lumii black 600w HPS light. It made the temp reach 44 degrees luckily I checked on my plant about an hour later and they were looking really sad but they were okay once I moved my tent closer to the window. My temps went down to 33 degrees Celsius which is still to hot PLEASE tell me how I can get This down guys 😭😭😭😭!!! Anyway they were okay before that growing beautifully and very healthy before I got the new light. I can definitely see the different in intensities

Day 34. I know its few days of previous week, just didnt wanted to mess with week type. Its BIG week . New light was added and rhythm changed to 12/12. Pot was top uped with 3 handfulls of BioBizz Worm Castings. 1.5 g of Biosys and 1.5 g of Great White were added too. After training she got 2.2l of water, medium drinker at the momennt. Girl got small defoliation, when you bent main top, one fan leaf is always staying in everyone's way, so he had to go. Think to do big clearing on day 14-18 of flower. Got first wave of LST, main top was lowered, one side shoot was repositioned and secured too... Girl is nice, more compact than other AMS strain i am running now, but i dont stress, its more experiment too. Think they miss good air, shoots a bit lanky to my like, will need support, so maybe i will scrog all.... TS1000 by Mars Hydro, great light, did perfect job during veg period, now i added one more for better coverage of long tent. Think in tent 1x1m i could manage to flower all 3 without any ad ons .... Great small light for amazing price. Day 36. 3 liters of higher ph 6.5 , run off was 495 ppm, 6.3 ph, so all is good !!! Day 40. Girl got heavy training, 5-10 leaves were taken down, most shoots secured with wires. 2.5 liters of 6.3 water went in. Happy Growing !!!

I'm loving how easy these ladies are growing. Watering every 4-5 days. I water 10 liters each time. Every now and then I pick a few leaves that might block other buds and thats it. It's a nice and steady grow up till now.
