Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. 13.02. Day 52 Die beiden vorderen haben die letzten Tage wirklich stark gelitten. Ich hatte sie leider vor ca. 14 Tagen überwässert. Daraufhin zu spät reagiert aber dann doch Erde ersetzt und mit 3%er Wasserstoffperoxidlösung 1ml/1L zweimal gegossen. Die Blüten schwellen an, also sie kommen langsam wieder klar aber genau in der Zeit wo der Blüteschub einsetzt habe ich überwässert

#Crop King Seeds Planting 3 Seeds Using 2 Different Techniques to germinate the Seeds - The First 2 Seeds were germinated (Jul 2nd) using the water / paper towel technique * The seeds were dropped in a half glass of bottled water (It stayed afloat) and kept in a closed dark area. * After 12 Hours the 2 seeds were pushed down to reach the bottom of the glass using my finger. * After 24 hours the 2 seeds were transferred / Now using the paper towel method to complete the germination - The last seed was germinated (Jul 3) using just the paper towel method * This method took longer to break the seed surface. On Jul 6 Decided to transfer all 3 seedlings into the Aerogarden. * Seed G1 had about 5cm roots. Some flowers already sprouting * Seed G2 had about 3 cm roots. Still had seed top. * Seed G3 had only just cracked . No length

Transplanted and separated into a 4x8 and 5x5 started to get deficiencies I think either cal or mag maybe even a little of both I flushed the soil in case ph was off in the soil then a couple had nitrogen deficiency so I gave them a tea last night will see how they look tonight when I’m off work once they are healthy I’ll flip to flower

This week the Jack Herer has exploded. The branches have become dense, swollen buds with lots of pistils that are turning orange. The smell has become much more intense and citrusy, however, I think it is further along that it should be. So far this seedling is growing nicely. I hope it continues like this

Struggling to get good pictures for my diary at the min when the lights on my pictures are all blurred from the light and i dont like to go in there when its lights out time for them, i had to move the 3 mimosa and 3 tropicana from 1 tent to another and i think the light change stunted the growth for 5/6 although the 5 that got stunted have now bounced back nicely there just way behind in size to the 1 mimosa that took to the change of conditions fine, had a slight nutrient defeciency i developed inbetween weeks 2-3 and they looked worse for wear had me worried to be honest but everything looks nice and healthy now and all growing strong, PS the other 4 decent sized plants are liberty haze i need to edit the diary and add the strain in its also barneys farm, will try to get better pics and videos over the next couple of weeks as i approach switching to flower

Day 63 - lookin good.... haha.... um, tanks stabilized, ph 5.8 - ppm 1200 .... she's feedin alot..... buds are fillin and lotsa white furries.... listed the nutes and amounts etc.., but i'm kinda feeding her as she needs.... so every few days she is drinking 2 lts +- and i'm just mixing up a neut solution in a 2 lt bottle every day or 2 ..... sometimes she just wants abit of water...... Day 64 +vid....shows her deep green and gloss... abit of crystalic :) Day 65 - vids pics.... trimmed her, and abit of bending.... Added blood and bone.... she's stretching alot, 60cm+ ........ Day 67 took all the early buds on all the stringy 0ff shoots.... Poor lighting vids, but don't want to mess with her flowering, :) 👍😎👊

26.07. Cherry Poppers 1# Day 92# Cherry Poppers 2# Day 89# Yesterday was the end of the thirteenth week for the plants. They spread abnormally, and they don't fall behind much with growth either. The weather will be much more normal in the next 10 days, so I expect better progress. Stay High and Keep Growing!!!

I'm really digging the Chem OG, squat plants with those trademark thick thick thick indica leaves, clearly it's gonna be a heavy smoke lol Wasnt able to get the juices flowing this week, hopefully next week i'll get the smart protein into feed. Started training some of these, did two more defoliations (total of three light defos so far) ... and then flipped them 4 days ago. the f-ing landlord has been attempting to enter the lab according to my security cameras lol, motherfucker !!!! anyway i have to pack up the lab, hopefully i'll be able to complete the grow cycle , but for sure i'll have to move the grow op ... that's my problem, sure but it also means that i'll have to wait in order to set up my perpetual cycle... and of course i cant really take cuttings if i'm moving the lab... why must people be so curious? really wish there would be at least a bit more tolerance around this hobby just so i can sleep peacefully at night... in the mean time , I lowered my lights to 22cm, i heard from someone (forgot who) that it's a good thing to get the lights closer when you flip so that the plant gets that extra energy for the stretch. Day 50. Selective defoliation, constant spraying ( I said never in flower, but it goes well, so I will keep up for few more days ). All good, nothing special except missing space as always ;)))) Day 54. I repositioned them a bit, think too intense air was making both big Mimosas - a real sl@tty DIVAS ;)) Hope they will feel better aside. Happy Growing !!!

9/8 D65 Seems our "good" weather is ending and if the forecast is correct for the next three days, only three of the last ten were sunny. That aint good folks not sure what can be done about it outside of artificial light and that would go on the ATF if any were available. Ah well learning is fun She looks good just needs some blasted sun Zombie is thriving, go figure Full feed yesterday 9/10 Sunless days continue, maybe two hours sun today then the rain moved in and the temp dropped... global warming my arse The forecasts were correct now I can only hope that continues as it is forecast for much better the next 2 days and then right back to this mess. 9/11 Yep today was a big improvement glad to have it 9/13 Day 70 New vids, top dressing seems to have triggered a new run of bud building on both Gloria and zombie Quasimodo (cant kill some of these Mex Air plants). The moster crop growth pattern is interesting as hell just letting it grow. Gloria looks to be building a basketball bud on top :) Weather degrading harvest in a couple weeks max trics say same

Drying time

New environment set up will be transplanting into bigger pots Friday then watered in. Day 25 - Today I transplanted them in to 12.5l super air pots and moved them to there new home fed them ph’d balanced water only and will leave till Monday again as the coco has added charge and I’ve seen good results when potting on in the past :). I also activated the exhale Co2 bags to maximise photosynthesis. - I leave the lights on 25% for the first couple days so they and raise over the 3 week of vegetative growth. Day 27 - Gave them a little trim removing and large fan leaves covering bottom branches as I don’t like removing main branches so try to get them to come thru as early as I can, won’t touch them from now till 1 week before the switch when I’ll top and defoliate. They will be on same nutrients now till the switch aswell watering as and when they need it.

4/15- Her bud sites are becoming very big and the white pistils are REALLY coming out. I hope she’s done stretching 🤞🏻 Had to move the lighting all the way to the top bar of the tent. She’s now 12 inches from the light. Seeing those spots again on some leaves. I gave her 4ml of calmag instead of 3.13. I’m hoping the calmag will help and the plant enzymes. Gave her a little hair cut ✂️
