Flowering Day 56: Howdy Growmies. Hope we are all growing abundant crops with hits like a mule. It is finally the final week for ripening on the #1 and #2 Mango creams. Both plants have started to show some amber trichromes under the microscope but only in very singular points at present. They will be fed with plain water in a few days time as they were fed their final feed of the shogun Dragon force yesterday. The week has been a great example of ripening with the majority of the pearly white pistils starting to go orange initially now turning a burnt orange colour. They both have a few white one still to turn and even a few newly released ones around so i think it will be a few more days at least #1 is a fair sized budded girl and her lowers are going to be a positive addition with no real larf to worry about.I did leave a fair amount of her leaves for the flowering so expect trimming to be the usual sentence.lol #2 has been my masterpiece throughout the grow of these girls amd she continues to impress to the end it seems. She is a very big lady and even after I tried to fim her , she bounced back and created that huge main cola... The sides are doing just as well as the main is and they alone will yield well. She has done her breeders proud @exoticseeds #4 at day 49 looks ready to rock already just like the # 3 that harvested at day 39. Her trichs have Amber's around but still a few clear so I won't pull her too early . I am more sure she is the same Phenotype as the #4 now she is looking so ready. very different looking to the other 2 too. Now comes the patience again with watching the trichromes daily. .be safe growmies.

Final Defoliation before I Flip to flower next Friday. Did a big cleanup under the ScrOG to direct all the energy to the tops. I also Reworked the Co2 Generator, let's call it 2.0 Generator. I know it might not be upping the Co2 tons, but some is better than none. Best part of the 2.0 you can see it working so you actually know there is some Co2 going in. Basically a 1 liter bottle with Sugar & Yeast with 1/4" tube that goes to second bottle with water in it. Tube is submerged so you can see it bubble about twice a second. the second bottle has another 1/4" tube that feeds through the grow room wall and connects to the back of a small fan that circulates the Co2 into the room. As I said not expecting a whole lot, but it can always be scaled up next round. The girls continue to grow at a good pace, 2" in 3 days and drinking about 1 gallon every 3 days as well.

I was still seeing strange things happen in the leaves but runoff pH was staying at around 6.5. One plant toppled over and started growing up from a bent stalk like an herb. I started looking for a new reflector so that I could mount my light horizontally instead of vertically to save space and ideally find a way to get the plants closer to the light without burning them. I started looking into MH bulbs as well as I figured at this point I clearly hadn't provided the light they needed. If I wanted them to thrive I needed to set them up properly for the last few weeks of veg. I transplanted this week into slightly bigger coco pots but in retrospect I feel I should have gone up to 3 gallon pots at this point.

i think pistills are changing more oranger this week.. but i guess buds are not growing fat this week .. something isn't right...

UPDATE - 24th of February 2020 - DRY WEIGHT & LOVE 56g total dry weight, after I gave them a very nice trim. They started curing in glass jars on 19/2/2020 and are currently between 63-68%RH inside. Burping every other hour for couple of minutes. While trimming some dried buds yesterday, I came across a seed, I couldn't believe it, between 😕and 😆, first time experiencing this, interesting, hopefully she didn't lose a lot of her potency and it only happened late. Learning from this: don't change light cycle. I changed from 18 to 21 hours, thought that was a good idea... All this aside, I am sooooooo in LOVE WITH HER 😍I have never grown such a beautiful plant, excuse the photo spam, she deserves a stage, at least for me 😉I can't wait to try her properly cured and get to learn her whole taste spectrum with the low and slow dried buds. Some of them will be processed to oil and edibles. If I find time, I might document some more. Until then, happy growing everyone, peace 🙏 Tried 2 different drying methods: 1.
