Week three the girls are doing well , getting stronger day by day, and starting to thrive

Trimming started after day 12 of drying and took about 5 hours to compete. The final yield was 508g dried flower and another 8 grams of dry sit from the trim bin. I pressed 5 oz of flower into rosin at about 22% yield for a total of 30g of rosin.

I just got myself a Digital Microscope for under $20.00 on Walmart.com, I got me a cheap one to start with so I can learn how to use it properly. But for under $20.00 this one brings 8 led lights, a adjustable mount, comes with 3 different connection choices build in, magnifies from 50-1000x, can take pictures and also videos and my favorite part, it connects right to my mobile device, you download and install a Google app and your ready to go, ill work with it and add pictures next week... Week 4 seemed a bit slow at first, but i also realised that I wasn't treating coco appropriately, I should feed nutrients every time I water and control the ph and ppm better. By the end of week 4 I got a water quality tester and am now able to properly take my ph down and monitor ppm so my plants don't get nutrient burned, but still gets enough nutrients in time. I also allowed good amount of the top layer of my coco to dry because I mixed up advice that received about soil and coco together. Apparently coco has no issues with overwatering unless your pots have no drainage so in the last 2 days I started treating coco the way it's supposed to be treated, I also finally got calmag and my plants are showing good signs of health past 3 days, they look revitalised and happy again 😊 Unfortunately, apple fritter was way too sick for me to continue with it so I restarted it in a proper coco and perlite mix that's non fertilised, that's a separate diary because its a whole month later. I decided not to train the first 2 plants just to see how the natural process is supposed to go.

So this is a super tiny solo cup shot glass 1 oz of soil. Germinated Wait and see!!!

Final weeks

Week 5, 5-11 September 2025 5-11 Sept - Observed and let the plant grow. At last a fast week of growth. Whatever the issue was worked itself out and the plant is now thriving. I believe the main problem was the roots did not grow with the speed usually associated with an auto. This could have been my fault because the clay pebbles were rather shallow at the beginning of the grow, and the added expanded clay pebbles a couple of weeks back finally expanded the root system. In any case it is on track now and doing fine. The end of this week I increased the light power 60%, DLI 37 canopy coverage at 18 hrs. - 2 Sept changed nutrient solution - 2 Sept updated feeding schedule - Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 - Adjusting PH to 6.1 daily using GH up/down - Nutrient solution EC 1.7 at 69 degrees F - Light power at 60%, DLI 37 canopy coverage at 18hrs - Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. It's time to start the next growing season, and this round, I am to make my life as difficult as possible by growing five different cultivars in the same tent. I'm sure it will be a struggle to maintain an even canopy, but hey, we improve as growers by facing challenges and (hopefully) overcoming them. The plants are looking very good so far and I'm happy with the grow so far. There have been no significant complications so far. The lowest few leaves have been removed and light LST applied using plastic benders. -19.02.2025 The plants get their typical “white hairs”, pre-flowering has started. -23.02.2025 The plants are doing well, I haven't been able to look after them for the last few days. But they have survived. The fourth week of vegetation is coming to an end and as you can see the plants are starting to flower.

A couple of days ago I got home and a sublime smell of coffee pervaded the area. Smell it smells you I came to understand what was good when I started the flush of our wonderful Auto test #1. The colors have come out forcefully both in the hair and the leaves have taken on a fantastic color, the maturation at the top is practically finished at the bottom something is missing, the plant still drinks a lot and we are flushing as if there were no tomorrow. We don't know what this beauty is GHSC mouths are rightly kitchens because it will be out very soon we are sure of one thing, a smell of coffee that makes me tear my underwear, wonderful. Auto test #2 is a week late but because I planted her quite later, she has now started to apply color but she has been throwing resin everywhere for a while, she too will be scary. she has a sweet smell ... she was taken care of as they deserve all ... she feeds herself with natural products ... she is in her last stage of flowering ... the days are cloudy and there is no sun .. she with a generous sun should be abundant .. I will one day cultivate it ... I help them with a hps focus because I do not have a good sun

The stretching was going all throughout Week 4 and into Week 5. One plant has reached 32" tall from where it sprouted and the other has reached 28" tall. Both plants are starting to show trichomes, the taller one more so. Feeding has been every other watering which I've found to be every 3-4 days. I'll be out of town starting on 02/03/2024 and coming back on 02/16/2024 and have asked my friend to stop in and water/feed when the plants need it. If everything goes well, I'm going to be excited to see how these girls have progressed in the 2 weeks I am gone.

Can't complain with another good week! More pistils are starting to turn orange and buds are looking good and healthy, I've got no burnt tips and so im guessing the nutrient mix is balance nicely after removing the silica after it kept reacting with the mix. Done another defoliation to get that light where it's needed, im very happy with these two plants as they are only my 2nd and 3rd plants I've ever grown. Thanks for stopping by✌️
