So, had an awful week here, outside temps are rising and my plant is getting fucked up. Super low humidity and super high temps are fucking her right up. Loads of foxtailing, lost all smell, feels kinda crispy despite daily watering. Need rid of this HPS lamp but money is tight so probably just gonna pull the plug entirely. Real shame.

FBA 2025 turned Frostbanger was a fun grow in many ways. First, my friend gifted me the seed and I grew outside while she grew inside. It was fun to watch the plants grow in different settings and different growing methods. If you have been following me, then you know our weather has been crazy here. We have had lows of 50* and highs of 90*. We had a hail storm and lots and lots of rain. Today, I was. forced to take my Frostbanger down. I found a couple of buds rotting and it is supposed to rain for the next 4 days, so this grow has come to an end. But first, true to Frostbanger's description, "Just keep in mind, this strain’s dank, pungent odor is super strong—meaning a carbon filter is a must to mask the aroma in any grow room and she’ll make her presence known when grown outside" and boy did my backyard smell. Also, just like its name, it is a "trichome-studded beauty." Sticky, sticky, sticky. It also had a nice fruity smell, almost like a cantaloup. I like to wet trim, so I spent the past 2 days trimming. My wet bud weight is 102.19 ounces. Not A big harvest. Had to throw away some bud rot and I had to take this plant down early --But that is how a hail storm, cold weather, hot weather, Rain and more rain will effect a harvest. I'm happy to be somewhat successful. FYI: today's weather: It has rained 2.05 inches in the past 24 hours and expecting 1.6 inches in the next 24 hours.. I am pretty proud of Frostbanger's cola as it is 10 inches long and approximately 9 inches around. Wish I could have seen it with 2 more weeks of growth. I may not have the growing experience of others, but I am super happy with this grow and glad I could enter a contest. It was fun!

We had a mega load of rain over the last few days and sadly I lost a huge NYD to stem rot. Anyways I new February in Durban was going to be a challenge. The soil doesn't drain very well where I live and unfortunately it just got too wet for too long. All the other plants are looking healthy and I did do treatments around their crowns with some peroxide followed by fungicide (organic oils). The haze x cheese is looking epic this week, buds are getting really big. Spotted some PM on some lower branches so I cleared out some undergrowth and have been pulling the odd leaves I see. Nothing too bad. Humidity has been 100% at points. Getting awesome hints of limone as I walk through the garden. Can't wait!

Soooo, nach langem Warten (ich bitte um Entschuldigung, es kam immer irgendwas dazwischen), nun die Ernte! Nachdem ich jetzt alle Sorten verkostet habe, kann ich euch nun mein Fazit präsentieren. Im Großen und Ganzen bin ich eigentlich ganz zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis, muss aber auch gestehen, dass ich bei der ein oder anderen Strain doch etwas mehr erwartet habe. Bei den nun folgenden Bewertungen möchte ich noch anmerken, dass sich diese rein auf den Outdoor-Anbau der jeweiligen Sorte und nur auf den einen bekannten Phäno beziehen. Man kann grundlegend behaupten, dass sich alle Sorten doch sehr solide geschlagen haben, und das bei diesem … naja, sagen wir mal wechselhaften Sommer. Allerdings merke ich einfach, dass sie lange nicht ihr volles Potenzial ausgeschöpft hatten, was ich immer etwas schade finde. Ich bin trotzdem froh, dieses Projekt durchgezogen zu haben, und gehe mit reichlich neuen Erkenntnissen sowie einem abwechslungsreichen Stash in die besinnliche Zeit. Was hat mich grundlegend bei den meisten Sorten gestört? Bei fast allen Sorten, mit Ausnahme der Hella Jelly und der Lemon Tree (wer hätt's gedacht), waren die Terps doch sehr flüchtig. Im Vape kamen sie wirklich gut zur Geltung, wenn man sie allerdings im Joint (pur, versteht sich) geraucht hatte, haben sie oft nach den ersten Zügen an Präsenz verloren, was wirklich schade ist. Dies ist aber wahrscheinlich auf die Anbaubedingungen zurückzuführen und soll den Breedern keinesfalls ihre Qualität absprechen. Wie schon in einem vorigen Kommentar erwähnt, haben sie einfach nicht ihr volles genetisches Potenzial erreichen können. Ich bin mir des Weiteren auch nicht sicher, ob ich beim nächsten Mal wieder auf die Dryferm-Bags setzen werde. Es war doch ein ziemliches Gefummel, bis man die Blüten ohne Kontakt zueinander in die Beutel verfrachtet hatte. Außerdem hat es meiner Meinung nach die Trocknungszeit eher verkürzt, obwohl ich mich an die Temperatur- und Luftfeuchtigkeitsrange gehalten hatte, was ich auch nicht unbedingt begrüße. Und zu guter Letzt sind sie auch echt nicht billig, wenn man bedenkt, dass ich pro Pflanze teilweise über 4 Beutel benötigt hatte (pro 3 Stk. ca. 25 Euro) und sie laut Hersteller nur dreimal verwendet werden sollten. Das ist doch auf Dauer ein ganz schönes Investment. Aber das sind nur meine 2 Cent zu dem Thema :). Nach und nach sollten jetzt hier die Erntereports eintrudeln. Ich hoffe, ich schaffe alles heute. Falls nein, seht es mir bitte nach. Falls ihr noch spezifische Fragen zu einer Sorte habt, lasst es mich einfach wissen, dann bekommt ihr noch eine ausführlichere Beschreibung. PS: Die Filmore-Slim musste ich leider fast komplett entsorgen. Sie hatte die festesten Blüten, die ich je bei einer Outdoorpflanze gesehen habe, was ihr leider zum Verhängnis geworden ist (durchgeschimmelt). Von ihr hatte ich leider keine rauchbaren Blüten. Von der Optik war sie auf jeden Fall ein Champion! Ich habe von allen Sorten Fresh Frozen in der Gefriertruhe, die ich in der kommenden Zeit wachsen möchte (auch von der Filmore Slim). Also kann ich sie hoffentlich als Konzentrat verkosten. Das soll es gewesen sein. Ich wünsche euch viel Spaß mit den folgenden Ernteberichten und eine ruhige, besinnliche Weihnachtszeit mit euren Liebsten! Some of the basics are coming together. Lights have been gradually raised by 5-10% every day except the last 2 days. By the end of week 2 flower they will be 100% and will stay there until last week of flower. Temp is 80 degrees, humidity is 60% and will also stay that way until the last 10 days of flower. I will go another week of tucking branches under the net to try and let the last plant reach the net. It’s just not stretching like the others. I need at least a week of stretch with vertical growth, so my smallest plant needs to catch up. There has to be 300+ tops in this 4x12 area. Every single node was topped 7-10 days before flower. Each branch has multiple nodes now. Between day 14-25 everything under the net will be removed. Clones were taken of every plant for a hopeful keeper pheno. Gonna try the whole “mother plant full clone run” for the next grow. By the end of week 2 parameters will be 1500ppm co2 1200-1500 ppfd 80 degrees 60% humidity Thanks for all the support and see you next week.

Hey guys I am a day late on the update cuz I went away for the weekend to a buddy's bachelor party and ended up with a broken clavicle in two places and need surgery tomorrow. I dont know how I'm gunna keep things rollin here but I'll figure it out. Anyways I couldn't get the plants out of the tent tonight but when I have some help tmm I'll try and get some better individual pics. I fed them before I left Friday at 1110 ppm with the green buzz and got a little burn, which is a good thing because that kinda shows me that less is more with this line and may save you a few bucks over time. It's also nice that there isnt 11 different bottles to pour from so far I couldn't be more impressed with GBL. The planta were all pretty bone dry today but look better than ever. Pics were taken at day 29 this week, temps have been around 73°F and 58% RH. This tent is in a basement so even with the dehumidifier the rh is pretty high especially with the lights out but the plants seem to enjoy it and I have plenty of air circulating. Doing good, these 2 are on cruise control and are packing frost on as we speak Edit: I fucked somethin up here in the video I put day 29 bloom, these were flipped on june 9th and got 36 hr dark period, I uploaded the video last monday so it was actually on day 22 flower not day 29 but it's a little late to edit the video so ignore that day and I'll make a new one tonight which is actually day 28

So this round I just lollipopped and didn’t strip the top at all, with better veg next round it’ll work better but I’m having issues with some plants not quite trellised how I’d like. Everything smells great, BCS,BD and WM are getting fat and PKB is frosty and tight. Watering is more of a chore than I’d like I think I’m just going to use some 5s for the next round . Es ist ist richtig kalt in der Garage ... die oberen Blätter sind immer noch hell - für mich aber kein kein unnötig zu düngen - die Aufnahme ist durch die niedrigen Temperaturen einfach nur gehemmt.

Hi All, I think I must have missed a week, don't know how I did that but I switched on the 16th OCT and this should have been the fifth week of flowering. Anyways I will change that over the weekend. Weekly update: *What's happening in the garden. So starting the fifth week of flowering and the buds are starting to bulk up. I still think the canopy is too dense but I am going to pretty much leave it and see how it plays out. Maybe I will thin out one large colla and see if that's going to grow a lot better but I don't know how meaningful this will be going forward. *On-going problems 1. Top canopy leaves still showing red stems. (I am almost to a point where I think this might be genetics) 2. Sweating problem - I've tried to lower temps, thin out canopy and dimming light. So I've done all that with limited success UNTIL I moved two dehumidifier into the room and lowered the RH in tent from low 70's to low 60's and I directed the top fan directly at the canopy rather than blowing slightly above the canopy. That seemed to help the plant sweat without leaves pointing up and tacoing. 3. Brown goo in reservoir - I am seeing some brown goo started to grow again but less than before. So I am going to increase the cannazym, hydro guard and PH at 5.5. *Neat trick to slightly increase your grow tent area. Since this is a monster mother plant in a 2x4 tent. I've been having trouble keeping her in check especially on the perimeter of the canopy so I actually added a input fan to decrease humidity and increase air flow and also created a positive atmosphere in the tent so the tent basically increased 10- to 15% in volume especially in the middle of the tent where my canopy is at so this gives her more room to bulk up the buds.

Dry yield is sadly an estimate, as I smoked some as it cured and then sort of got my jars mixed up lol. But the top half of the plant was definitely 5.6 grams. Then I just added what I thought to be the second box of buds lol woops. 9.3g is the LOW estimate of dry weight. Either way, it'll last me ages.

Require regular trimming and maintenance to keep them healthy as much as possible so the girls can thrives…. Take up a lot of water for sure. But will update on the way and picture . Other than that I’m happy and satisfied and will look into Cereal Milk from Premium Cultivar as well. On day 12 will take it down from hang drying in 3 b 3. I will grow 6 plants from here on out instead of 12 . Give room for plants to space out.

2 Black Cherry Gelato 🍒 Clones from my clone guy- 1000w LED, 4G Autopots,, coco/perlite 65/35, Jacks RO + dry koolblom and humic acid , RO water, AC pro Controller and T8, 5x5 GG Tent with extension. Garage grow SoCal. Another hot week in the garage averaging 88°. The girls are starting to develop and gain weight. Trichomes are coming along. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. We switched nutes and reservoir funk is gone. This weeks accomplishments: Switch from GH to Jacks RO Install separate reservoirs for black cherry gelato and purple push pops Clean all autopots and reservoir lines. Install separate lines for black cherry gelato This weeks issues: Spider mites. Found them in the outside grow and found a few leaves with them inside. Big time nightmare. Primarily on the gelatos inside. Doing manual scouting and removal every day. Long term issues It’s hot. High 80s low 90s all week. So the same - Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing the spread of mites and mold issues during high humidity conditions Managing girlfriend expectations through harvest. 14/7/26 day 43 of flowering,beginning week 7. second video-20 days old clone,roots forming in process,was taken bud(🌲21 days flowering). 🌱 The clone was cut and planted directly into the soil,previously watered with Terra Vega and under a transparent dome with 18 hours of light.this method means manyfolding from one bud and ideally for scrog/LST technique.🤙🏻
