Week 2: Standing Tall & Pushing Leaves! 🌱🍭 General Vibes: We are officially into Week 2 and the Mellow Jelly is showing some real character! The jelly is definitely setting nicely. She stretched just a little bit reaching for the light during the first few days, so I gave her a little help with a gentle wire support to keep her standing straight and strong. Nothing to worry about, just typical seedling behavior as she establishes her root zone. Environment & Setup: Light: Still running the Agyrochy 100W LED at about 80% power. Because of the slight stretch, I'm keeping a very close eye on the distance to give her enough energy without causing light burn. Keeping it at a steady 18/6 cycle. Temp & Humidity: Keeping the environment super stable for the baby. Temps are hovering right around 24-25°C and humidity is staying high around 70%. My Tuya Smart controller is doing its job keeping that VPD right in the sweet spot for early veg! Feeding & Watering: Water: Still keeping it very simple. Giving her pH-adjusted water (dialed in around 5.8 - 6.0 for the coco mix). I am watering lightly in a small circle around the base to encourage those roots to reach outward and expand. Nutrients: Not pushing anything heavy yet. She is doing perfectly fine living off the light nutrients in the substrate. I might introduce a very light dose of root stimulator soon, but for now, less is more. Observations: As you can see in the pics, her first set of true serrated leaves are fully out and holding a beautiful, healthy green color! The next set of leaves is already starting to push through the center. The wire support is doing its job perfectly, and if you look closely at the stem, you can see the little trichome fuzzies forming as it begins to thicken up. 3/16 234AM MONDAY POTATO N WEEK CELEBRATIONS! The plants in your photos look like healthy, vigorous **RF3 autoflower seedlings** (likely Banana Purple Punch Auto RF3 or similar from Fast Buds' upgraded RF3 line, based on the context of your previous grows with their genetics). They're in early vegetative stage at around 3 weeks from seed—nice bushy structure, good node spacing, dark green leaves, no major deficiencies or burn yet. The coco medium shows some perlite mix, and they're in small pots with what looks like a well-draining setup. Solid start **RF3 autos** from Fast Buds are bred for stability, vigor, and resilience (often with heavy resin, dense buds, and good yields), but like most modern autos, they're sensitive to overfeeding early on—especially in coco, where salts build fast if not managed. ### Recommended EC at 3 Weeks (Early Veg/Pre-Flower Transition) At week 3, autos are usually ramping up vegetative growth and may start showing pre-flower signs soon (pistils around nodes). With the heat being so high my plant has show some signs of slowing down. I ended up getting a DIY home A/C unit I made out of a fan and cooler. - Added new light this week Mars Hydro SP-150 to help out with my two blur-blue lights. she was not getting enough light with just the blurple lights

Day 36 Stretching has slowed but not stopped. 28-29” today. Feeding 3L per plant now. The orange haze seems to be flawless, the other 2 needing a little extra calmag and N, but early flower can be expected. Humidity holding at around 50-55% little higher than I want but plenty of air blowing inside and strong extraction, so no problem. Would like to see the bud sites fill out over the next few weeks, before swelling. White pistils everywhere very exciting to see these blossom. Lovely mild fruity smell already from the tent

16.4.25: I have retied the fabric ties again, as they're growing like crazy. Trying to open up the plant, to grow out as well as up. This will also create new colas. At this stage, I'm trying not to over fertilise like I did with the last grow. Focusing on Cal-Mag amino acids and Mega Crop Part A. The medium is my custom super soil, which is already fertilised with Ecothrive dry amendments. So I could just add water. However, as we've already run into deficiency, that would be careless. I find it easy to keep an eye on the plants and carefully inspect them daily to act quickly when issues arise. Learning how to determine the issue is what I'm still learning, which is the hard part 😅 It's all fun though, and I'm really enjoying this grow with all the toppings and FIMs. So far so good! 23.4.25: I hope everyone had a great 420! Fastbuds Mystery seed #1 is doing well, she has stayed bushier relative to the RQS Northern Lights, also there has not been so much growth. The bud sites are developing well and have tight internodal spacing. I'm determining when to relax the LST as we are now in the beginning of week 3 flower. I do have height. However, I'd like to keep it reasonable. You never know when they will stop growing. I'm not really adjusting any ties since the last time. I have also noticed that there are signs of Nitrogen excess. Instead of Mega Crop Part A and Cal-Mag amino acids, I will use Bud explosion PK booster with the Cal-Mag. This will make the N5 the only Nitrogen being given. It still may be too much, but will monitor closely to see the effect this change will make, if any. Balancing the nutrients is very important for me to learn, and it's going to be an ongoing process. I watered today with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients: ♡ 1/2 Tsp of Bud Explosion PK booster by Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients 23.4.25: Plant seemed to be drinking heavily, so I watered again with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with;- ♡ 2.5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients, and ♡ Ecothrive Biosys 1/8 tsp. happy with plants at this stage. cant wait to see them bulk up. they are starting to smell a little now the sour lemon tart is alot more pungent than critical orange punch at this stage.

I stopped nutrients a few days ago. Beginning to see a mixture of amber and milky trichomes. Flushing for a few more days then harvest. Such a beautiful first grow for me. What an experience. Will be germinating my next seed shortly before harvest red poison from sweet seeds. This was my first grow it was a random free seed with my order of red poison from gardensupplyplug. Will be getting a new light also my viparspectra v1200 is taking a shit lenses on leds are melting but leds all still work somehow. Gonna go with a brand new xs4000 since I bought the one I have used on offer up it's 3 years old. Thanks if you read this and left a comment!

She's also showing light green around the leafs maybe slight magnesium deficiency. 10/11/2019 - Yellow leafs showing up really fast so I 'flushed' the medium with 1l of 6.4 PH plain water, watered until some run off start to showing, change the watering plan again, now I only water when the pot feels light and dry at the bottom. 13/11/2019 - Pot was really light and dry at the bottom so I gave her 1.5l of water with 0,75ml of Grow, 1,5ml of Bloom and 0.75ml of Max BioBizz PH 6.5 until some runoff started to appear I think was too much again : also added a work-supplement led strip light. 14/11/2019 - Leaves looking pale raise the light to 45cm instead of the recommended by manufacture 25-40cm.

This was a beautiful strain to grow. With her flowers getting big towards the end of harvest as well as the purple colours! I would definitely recommend that you try grow this strain. The buds are super dense and very well formed. An absolute treat to smoke and look at.
