🇺🇸Grow Journal🇺🇸– Week 5 – Mother Gorilla (Royal Queen Seeds) Week 5 Summary This week didn’t go as planned. I switched nutrients, and the plant didn’t respond well, possibly due to overfeeding. I probably should have transitioned more gradually to avoid stressing it. Nutrient Issue • Previously used: Formulex • New nutrient: Ionic Hydro Grow • Possible cause: Ionic Hydro Grow has a higher concentration of nutrients than Formulex. The sudden increase may have stressed the plant. • Symptoms: The new leaves are showing signs of damage, which could indicate nutrient burn. Typically, deficiencies affect older leaves first, so it seems more like an excess—but I can’t say for sure. Corrective Actions • Diluted the nutrient solution to lower the EC. • Initial EC: 2.6+ (but my tap water already has a high EC, so the actual nutrient EC is hard to determine). • New EC: Below 2, but again, since my starting EC is high (around 0.8-0.9), it’s difficult to get an exact reading of the nutrient contribution. • pH adjusted to 5.9-6.0. Current Conditions • Light schedule: 18 hours • Humidity: 70% • pH: 5.9-6.0 • EC: Below 2 (but actual nutrient EC remains uncertain). Next Steps • Observe the plant and see if it recovers. • Adjust the next nutrient mix carefully to avoid overfeeding. • Continue light training (LST), but growth has slowed due to stress. Hopefully, the plant will bounce back. J’ai changé de nutriments et la plante a mal réagi, probablement à cause d’un surdosage. J’aurais sans doute dû faire une transition plus progressive pour éviter un stress trop brutal. Problème de nutriments • Nutriment précédent : Formulex • Nouveau nutriment : Ionic Hydro Grow • Cause probable : Le Ionic Hydro Grow est plus concentré que le Formulex. L’augmentation soudaine des apports a pu créer un stress. • Symptômes : Les nouvelles feuilles présentent des signes de brûlures ou de stress. Comme les carences touchent généralement d’abord les vieilles feuilles, il est possible que ce soit un excès. Mais je reste prudent sur cette analyse. Howdy growfessors 👽, the outdoors ladies are growing nicely. Not much to say except that now that the last 4 days of rain are done and the sun is shining, I expect these ladies will take a jump in size/growth.

05/03 - I topped both ladies last week and the new growth has already begun - Applied a hard LST pull down to give me light coverage in the middle of the the ladies - I will be topping one more time maybe two and that will be it for topping - Increased nutrient feed to assist in recovery after LST and topping. 05/07 - Both of the ladies suffered a little Cal-Mag deficiency causing some of the yellowing - Since have adjusted with micro-dosing Cal-Mag with Silica and Myco - Temps are in the mid 80's and humidity around the same between 77 and 80% - Did some light defol - These will remain in 1 gallon pots in the 2x2 for about another week before being final transplanted into 5 gallon pot to run through harvest 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

The plants are still growing great. They reavted really well on the topping and defoliation.

Week 12 Update: Solo Tent, Heatwaves, & GG Curing! Hey everyone! I almost completely missed the Week 12 with all the excitement going on, and I also forgot to snap photos this week, so I'm dropping a video instead to show you the current state of the tent. Here is what's happening: The Gorilla Glue is officially out of the tent! The chop was a success, and after navigating some tricky humidity levels during the dry, she is now safely in jars. The curing process is going perfectly with Integra Boost packs holding a steady 60% RH. I will be making a separate, detailed Harvest Post for the GG very soon with all the final weights and macro shots, so stay tuned for that! With GG gone, Crystal Candy now has the entire tent, all the airflow, and the 150W light entirely to herself. As you can see in the video, she is taking full advantage of it. She is flowering beautifully, the buds are swelling up nicely, and she is marching steadily toward her own harvest window. The biggest struggle right now is the weather. Summer is arriving early here, and the ambient temperatures are pushing my tent up to 32°C (89.6°F) during the day. I am trying my best to counteract it and cool things down, but without much success so far. Despite the heat, CC seems to be taking it like a champ. I'm keeping the fans on max to ensure massive airflow and prevent any mold issues like the minor scare I had with GG. Fingers crossed the heat doesn't cause any foxtailing. She is getting closer every day! ✌️

Day 8 and she's growing fine! I slightly over watered her yesterday so she's got some bouncing back to do!

Ladies and gentlemen today is day 70 and yes, we are still in veg, but not for much longer.. I'm just waiting for some space to free up and we're about a week , week and a half from that happening.. i've broke a couple branches off her while training, but she has recouped very well and is as healthy as can be.. i like to think cannabia for letting me run this strain.I really look forward to it.. i'd like to add that i'm feeding her around . 5 tsp Maxibloom.. .5 tsp general hydroponics Silica and bloom city cal mag ..GD only recognizes one of the 3 nutrients I'm using. This wonderful ak 420 is developing very good, now she's been Transplanted ill start working on her lst to get a very beautiful ak420 bush. She's looking super healthy on her living soil by florganics and she's developing very fast. Let's see what happens.

Need to keep the noise to an absolute minimum. So I'm trying a 6/2 light schedule in a hybrid closed system and only running extractor 15 mins 3 times a day( once per mid light on) hopefully this will keep temps fairly stable(seems to hold around 26⁰c) around week 2 I will add CO² bags....I assume I will need a dehumidifier in a few weeks.
