12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I got a comment on the bushy-ness and I got self-conscious and gave her a trim. Lol I have been going bath and forth for a while and that gave me the push to give her a little trim. She looks great and is growing really quickly. Ill update with more pics as it goes along.

Week 8, 26 September - 2 October 2025 26- Sept - 2 Oct - Observed and let the plant grow. 1 Oct - Removed damaged/dieing leaves. This was the first significant removal of leaves from this plant. Only those that were damaged or dieing were cut. A plant this small needs as much canopy as it can get. You have to be careful not to remove too many leaves when the plant is in flower. - 2 Oct changed nutrient solution - 2 Oct updated feeding schedule - Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 - Adjusting PH to 6.1 daily using GH up/down - Nutrient solution EC 2.1 at 72 degrees F - Light power at 75%, DLI 45 canopy coverage at 18hrs - Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. Aug 9: Lemon Cream Kush is doing fine and is starting to stretch a bit. I’m surprised how much it grew last week. Got the UV led lights from AC Infinity going. The sunlight gets weak here quickly starting in mid-August and the UV helps form trichomes. Used it last year and it seems to help. Nice weather days only as these lights are not intended for outdoor use. Aug 14: rainy last few days. Noticeably stretched last night. Had UV lights going in afternoon after a few days of not using them.

Plant 1 been staying bushy not as much stretch. Plant 2 stretch a good bit. They were both 18 inches start of flower. Bigger one is 30 inches. Changed my nut mix lower. Was a little strong missed two days of adding water. Started to show little sign of nut burn. It was 4.5 gallon low and ph dropped to 5.12. Ordered float valve so wouldn't happen again. They are finely getting hairs two days ago. Been working on cleaning out under the canopy. So I'm thinking one more day and plant 1 will be through the screen. Plant 2 almost has it grid full. Day 38 and it is very fast as this baby has developed, it responded very well to the LST which gave it a more resistant structure with which it will support thicker flowers, it begins to fill with resin with a pleasant citrus / sweet smell. In the next week I will start giving you an overdrive to promote fattening in all the flowers

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 3 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster this week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also will be switched the light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of this week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 42" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 38" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. We did get an unexpected heat wave this weekend and it has been a struggle keeping the heat and humidity down but the flowers are just starting so no need to worry about mold or anything like that yet. As soon as this heat wave is over the temps should be good to go the rest of the way this is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. My Rainbow Melon plant is thriving! It's the second biggest in the tent right now and growing like crazy. The smell is still amazing, too – a really sweet, gas aroma that fills the whole room. I'm excited to see how big those buds get! The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this past week! We've been hitting that sweet spot of 70 degrees during the day, perfect for getting outside and soaking up some sun. Then, it cools down to a comfy 50 degrees at night, which is ideal for sleeping with the windows open. I've been loving all the fresh air! I finally got around to building that little wooden planter for my windowsill. It was a fun project, and now my regular plants have a nice new home. It really brightens up the room, and I'm thinking of adding some herbs to it soon. Maybe I'll even try growing some basil!

Week 18 for Gelato 41 by seedstockers She's just becoming a monster... i know i went through a period of barely feeding her... well this week she's been fed 5-7L of water plus heavy heavy sprays every night😂 so a bit of a change up she doesn't seem phased either way. Im a little worried when it comes to flowering because she barely/never gets wind & her branches aren't very strong. Which is one of the reasons I spray them heavy every evening to build some strength. She also needs a nice defoliation again to keep PM away + also need to start thinking about giving her flower dry amendments top feed because i think she's partly going into flower because of the shade.

Think I must have forgotten to feed the cutting at the back at some stage. You can see in the timelapse she struggled for a while before bouncing back after a good watering. I never expected all 3 cuttings to make it to the flowering tent anyway, so that plant will be the one that is most likely to not make the cut. Hope you all enjoy my first attempt at a 1 week timelapse. This girl is very hungry, last week I detected small brown spots on a fanleaf. With increasing light power to 100% over the week, the Ca, Mg deficiency intensified. As a first-aid measure, I watered the plants with a dolomite lime suspension with a pH of 6. The BioBizz product arrived in the mail midweek. I added 1 mL/L of CalMg with every watering. In addition I added 10mL LAB (lacto acid bacteria, diy with rice water and milk) per liter of irrigation water. By the end of the week, the foliage already looked a bit greener. I hope the deficiency was caught early enough and won’t affect the plants’ future growth. For the next run, I’ll need to increase the amount of dolomite lime in the soil.
