First week of flowering for the girls. We started with some master bloom from Xpert nutrients and continue with master root also from xpert nutrients. We placed a net above the poants to guide some of the taller branches and create a more equal canopy. We defoliated some lower leaves and for the rest it looks quite good, some plants showed a little sign of overfeeding so we lower the dosis this week.

So everything took off in flower, I was super harsh with the defoliating which initially I regretted, but was surprised with how they packed out during the following weeks. In general it's impressive how hardy these plants are. Even the outdoor grows yielded some quality. Add some more nuets (overdrive and carbo load), before flushing about 14 days before harvest, next time I'll do this earlier and really the Runtz could have gone another week but my drying needs to happen in the same space as my growing for now. Apologies for the quality of image, I'm just using my phone and some bits I have to document, I collect records too, so expect weird noises lol. Build a rotating plat from a lazt susan I found, has been the best piece of kit added this season.

The Orange Sherbet is getting new soil this week—a blend of Bio-Beth All-Mix and Greenhouse-Feeding, setting her up perfectly for the final weeks of vegetation and . Additionally, the Orange Sherbet has responded well to the back yeast-buttermilk-molasses experiment, resulting in a significant CO2 increase of up to 1500 ppm. 💨 I'm excited to see how she adapts to her new environment. Meanwhile, the Frozen Black Cherries are absolutely thriving in hydro! 🌱 Their growth has been phenomenal, and I couldn't be more impressed with their progress. Really nice plant to grow the high is nice and mellow, if I was to do this strainbagain I'd try go for the photoperiod to give her more potential but over all great grow and fantastic jar appeal.

Getting chunky (: this girl is so bushy I gave up on defoliation, the lower buds also seem to keep growing so I think she should be ok. The smell is addictive, I wish I grew 3 in the big tent

Never saw that level of growth before. I gave them a bloom booster to help with their transition to week 2 - 3 of flower, this should kick in the bud development. I inspected the little ones and noticed signs of Thrips, annoying buggers. I treated them with neem oil and a time released pest fumigator strip (last 3 months). I gave all the girls Flower Fuel a granular bloom booster I got off of amazon last year. I never had issues with it though I haven’t used beastie blooms or other common bloom boosters on the market. The week after next (week 7) I’ll add powdered amendments to keep them going till harvest. I may even amend at week 6 so they get a head start on breaking down all the organic materials. Everything is ph’d to ~6.5, the girls are looking healthy and will be ready for feeding soon. ‖ PESTS ‖ Found a few thrips around, still managing the white flies okay but I’ll need to tackle the thrips immediately to prevent stunted growth and stress to the girls. I use neem oil, green cleaner (not the kitchen disinfectant) and a slow release fumigation strip that helps with most pest. ‖ FINAL THOUGHTS ‖ This week has gone well, again I was surprised with the growth rate during this week. The stretch period is still going for some of the girls so I’ll keep updating on their individual growth stats for the next couple of weeks. I’ll need to inspect my plants a bit more carefully so I don’t miss any signs of stress, pests , etc. I may be partially blind but I can still make a better effort in spotting these potential issues, I’m still learning :) Well, it’s been a great week, got some work ahead of me. Did some light pruning also.
