papaya cookies has now completed her stretch. typical for papaya, she develops purple/pink pistils. such a beauty. hopefully the weather will stay good enough for her bulk.

I'm glad that this grow is slowly coming to an end. There are currently 2x Sherbelato Cake and 1x Ayahausca Purple & 1x Candy Bubatz in the Tent. Next time I will only grow in water.

As week 2 comes to an end 4 of the 5 have shown great growth 1 is behind (#5) but it also has a mutation and has a few 4 leafers on it. #3 is shorter and has wider leaves.

After another weekend spent away from home, on day 26 both Opiums present at 30 cm height, having grown big and bushy. Their thirst increased, I will water them when their next day starts. And do some more LST. Not too long until I can install the scrogging net. I am really impressed by their progress. They developed a lot of branching side branches and look really healthy and bushy. In contrast to what I wrote before, I think I can stay a few days longer with the current 80% 18/6 lighting scheme. Leaf positions do not show signs of light hunger, so no reason to change. Watered them with 1.5 l each on their 27th morning, this time adding some flower fertilisers too. Compensated their relief with some more LST. I can see in timelapse video they are tmelselves compensating this stress easily; it’s amazing to see how fast they turn their heads. You’ll see soon too. For reference: Pot diameter is approx. 25 cm. So lady #1 spreads about this much, lady #2 is even about 10 cm more. Guess they’ll make a very dense scrog surface, but first let’s have them have their stretch. Day 28 evening revealed ladies are getting thirstier. The holey pots might be helpful in root development, but they are not when it comes to keeping the tent clean. Because of their structure, water runs out in respectable quantities each time they are fed, which takes a long time to evaporate and adds to air humidity of course. Which on the other hand is currently quite ok. Outside air temperatures are around 30 °C the last days, so a bit more humidity helps to keep the VPD in range. Which is quite ok as I still cannot complain about their growth – around 2–3 cm each day currently. Grow video for day 28 (sorry about the interferences! Due to the control hard- & software being offline I cannot silence the blower(s) when a photo is taken anymore) shows steady growth and very vivid movements again. Dropping of their leaves around their evening is possibly due to me watering them again as soil was surprisingly dry already. On their day 29 evening, it’s clear to see how much they are stretching: They really gained 5 cm since yesterday! Lights are close to 30 cm, so I think I’ll reposition things a bit when their next week starts. Attached video shows the day’s progress. They say you cannot scrog an Automatic but seeing the development speed and bushiness I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I guess the buds can profit from being a bit more apart from each other if I handle to fiddle them through the holes in time. I rearranged the lights to be at about 45 cm apart from the tops and set the lights to 100% at a 16/8 lighting scheme, waking them up one hour later than before and sending them to sleep one hour earlier. Last day of this week, day 30, shows that growth speed has even increased. Lady 1 crosses the scrog net already which is positioned at 46 cm above soil. Gave them slightly enhanced water again, 2 l each.

(DAY 42) This week has been nothing but crazy growth on the ladies part!! I’ve actually been adding super small amounts of (GH) flora grow/micro/bloom into my waterings still running my dry amendments in coco and using a little cal-mag as well! So here’s what they look like 3 days from my last post ! ..OHH and washing machine number 5 that I thought I lost to nutrient death came back! After leaving her in the corner of the grow tent and giving her nothing but water her leaves on top are bright green can’t wait for it to be my lil private stash ! Anyways We’re getting really close to switching to flower and getting that smell I’ve been waiting for 👃🏼 Enjoy the video guys! And again any feedback would be awesome.

Last week was pretty stable. The buds are steadily fattening up, just how we like it. They all got burned leave tips, I think it has to do with too little runoff, because I’m using GHE’s flora hydro schedule on exactly half strength. Its not getting worse over the last days so its probably not a big deal. Like I said last week, I have a dehumidifier now. I got it hooked up to one of the air holes on the bottom. My sonoff temperature and humidity sensor checks when it goes over 65% rh, and fires on the dehumidifier whenever needed to blow difrectly in the tent. I do wonder if I could save on electricity to get a stronger exhaust fan. Because the humidity outside the tent is low enough, so more air circulation could fix the humidity issue without actively dehumidifying I think. I’ve been eyeing on the Apogee SQ-102 PAR meter. Its not perfect for led light but it does give a pretty good idea about the amount of light hitting the plants. I’d like to get a better idea of the optimal distance between plants and light. Especially since i ran into loads of light burn issues in this grow and past grows.

The plants have been doing great they all have uniform growth and nice healthy colour amongst the leaves .. some have purple stems and others don't there are distinct skunk and almost citrus undertones when rubbing the stem with fingers .. great plants to grow and can't wait for the next few weeks of growth ...

Day 50: Water intake is 150ml per plant, light schedule 18/6. Humidity is approx 50%. Fertilization continues the same way Monday, Wednesday, Friday Biobizz family, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. Flowers are developing nicely and getting thicker. Plants love the new 600W Viperspectra:) All good so far! They are all approx 30-35 cm. Day 53: Smell is getting stronger, really nice mix one. Day 55: Nice smell comes out from this tent. Plants are nice buds are getting dense and the smell is getting stronger and stronger. All of them do well, some more some with less bud development but they all look happy.

Unfortunately I found a couple of single trips that tell me that the trips still haven't completely disappeared. Since I'm not a neem at this stage I will inject more oil and the lady has already finished over half of her cycle, I will let her run like this and the newcomers will be treated again 👍. So I hope that at the next round all of them will finally be gone. I had the problem more than 5 years ago and it took a long time until everything was ok again and there was no animal left. So yeah, my wife is upset at the time I've been spending on it..... if only she would have let me do this inside the house like I wanted to. So yeh this weeks been good. This is the first flowering entry even tho they’ve been on a 12/12 cycle for about a week now because I wanted to at least see pre flowers before I started the flower entries. I now see a few but not on all plants. Not long tho I suspect. Everything is going great. These are the tallest plants at the mo and they are just preying too the light. They look so beautiful. I did lollipop them and spread the growth nodes out quite a bit with LSTing and they’ve responded beautifully. It’s such a relief coming from photos to know i can make a couple mistakes if I like and if I don’t make any my god do they reward you and respond well!!! I’ll be going back in at day 42 of flower to tidy up again but they are good for now 👍

Day 69: harvested today will update day after day how the drying goes! Day 70: dont have a rh meter hahaha so i hope its not to dry in there. Seems like Day 72: hahahahaha fucked it up today! Had the humidifier on without my controller!!!! So trimmed them to speed the drying up a bit! Growing great. Drinking a gallon every 2 to 3 days. Posted a bunch from through the week. shes starting to fill in the empty spaces in little nugs and ive never got to watch this day by day before so im having a great time right now its off though that she still doesnt smell like much when you put your nose to her but when you touch some the leaves or touch the bud itself it smells pretty dank on your fingers Wondering if it will get louder as she finishes up
