It has been a week of snap snap snap! let's call it accidental toppings - yes - multiple. The OG Kush seems to be quite fragile compared to other strains I've grown. Continued LST has resulted in me snapping off the end of the main stem and another major branch. Both days within switching the light regime. Now I have to fill up the net using lateral branches. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period (32hrs) prior to switching light regime at the beginning of the week - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Light green spots and other spots noted on big fan leaves, possibly a calcium or other deficiency. Spots are lighter shade, irregular though some are circular. End up turning bronze colour dust. No pests have been spotted during extensive inspections. The problem remains to older leaves only and doesn't seem to be affecting any new growth. I also think I may have some Nitrogen toxicity due to my CalMag solution having a NPK ratio of 6-0-0. Getting some low N solution this week so hopefully that will address any impact on the flowering stage. The plant still seems to be strong, forming strong branches and massive fan leaves. Growth is being tucked under the net to fill it up. Pruned a few stems and leaves from below the canopy which may never see the light of day. Run-off EC still remains below target. Tracking run-off volume/EC/pH at every fertigation event as I manage the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is maintained now to once a day (at lights on) to maintain the target EC. I did her second tie-down on day 22 actually. Day 24- I’m okay with the fan leaf laying on the surface for *now.* Just because I live in a high, dry desert with a consistent RH at around 20-25%. And also, because the top quarter inch of soil is dry. However I will probably be propping it up with something tomorrow morning. Day 25- finally I decided to fold down the rim of the pot for more light!

Are just in day 5 and two of them seems to enjoy. Ph 5.8 Ppm 720 Ec 1340 **** First time growing, and first time with dwc. I chose to build my own dwc tank! First week was alright, I think I put the seed to early in coco coir and then into leca in dwc tank. Tap water is around 200 ppm and 7.6ph, I boil the water because of kalk. First 2-3 days I was starting with 7.2 - 6.6 ph and 520 - 640 ppm D. 4-5 640-790 ppm 5.8-.5.6 adding more terra Aquatica D. 5-7 790-980 ppm 5.6-6.2 ph 23c tent 19c w.

I am very satisfied with the variety, it has good flowers with good effect. The yield is also very large for small time effort

From start to her finish she has been a great plant to grow. Given more space and light to herself would have given a huge yielding plant i feel. She grew long branches and her node spacing was fairly good but a little wide for compact growing like the quadlining uses. In a scrog she would perform amazing and i would recommend this to anyone unsure of growing the strain. she could get very big if left untrained !!! Her response to training was always excellent and even when losing a limb from my error , she bounced back quickly with a pair to compensate. They soon caught up with the older limbs too. Her buds get very dense and are prone to budrot if the Rh is not managed. You need a lot of good airflow around the buds themselves to even hope to avoid it with these huge thick colas. I lost about 1oz in rotted bits during the last few weeks of the grow and pre drying trim. Overall, loved growing this girl and she impressed me at every turn. During veg I gave it urine for nitrogen one month after sprouting. Than I gave it a top feeding of compost, and epsom salt. During bloom I gave it a top feeding of epsom salt and a liquid feeding of raw coconut water 2 weeks into bloom and again 4 1/2 weeks into bloom and now I am only giving it water ph at 6.2. Also if u want to keep it totally organic use apple cider vinegar as ph down and baking soda as ph up.

Noticed some more pink/purple stems on the plants and decided to increase the phosphorus content in the feed by mixing in half grow and half bloom from the nutrient lineup. I'd use the PK booster I have but its to high in K for my liking. The entire lineup is very high in K. mixing grow and bloom gives a NPK ratio of 7-7-14 then done 1:1 equal parts. Grow=8-4-15 Bloom=6-10-14 Boost=1-15-30 Run off was a bit high for my liking but only seeing minimal signs of nutrient burn. Still watering once with feed and runoff and then later in the week with water and no/little runoff for my watering cycle.The number in the nutrient section are wrong but the EC and ratio are correct. Also impressed the roots have started popping out the bottom of the container already after only being transplanted for a week. Good root growth on these ones. Lights doing well. I started this and then had to quarantine for 2 weeks. I did not have enough soil for 3x 2gal. pots. They grew so fast in the solo cup I just macgyvered a setup from stuff I had. Stuck a timed water pump on them over a res and cut holes in the solo cups to let the roots out. Res is 3 gals cutting edge solutions basic 50%

This week we did a very heavy defoil, the canopy was so thick I was getting worried about bud-rot or something else starting. There is also a decent amount of larf on some of the sides where the bushes where bumping into each other. Next time, I'm only doing 5 in this tent as they could have been bigger with more space. I will do the next layout like a 5 on a 6 sided dice. Once again, I had Algae try to start. However, I was prepared with H202 on hand. I put 1ml per L in, and it cleared that up in 1 day. I have decided that after next week, they will get the chop. By Feb 26th, they will be chopped and weighed wet, then 7 days later, weighed dry!

Low maintenance. Just watered this week with cal-mag'd water. Trichomes still nice and cloudy. Harvest is close.
