Seven weeks of flower done and another three or four left. The plants are drinking lots and the buds are starting to fatten up. I see amber hairs and new white hairs continuing to grow out of the sides and top. Bud building is not over, more happy days. Did a bit of leaf trimming, just to get a bit more light in. Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. Blackberry moonrocks both plants are still some of the best seedling in the tent so far. The better if the 2 is for sure the #1 plant in the tent. It has had the best start of a seedling i have seen in a wile. The leaves are angled like an airplane and they just seem thicker than the average leaf. They both seem like there going to have middium to longer indernode spacing. It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

Well it seems like I have amnesia already with how quickly this one grew and finished, haha. I did a check with the 100x microscope and trichomes are beginning to turn translucent/milky with no amber at all. I noticed this, trimmed up some more fading leaves and got her ready for flush since I had used Beastie Bloomz and Overdrive late in the flowering phase. I need to do some more research on organic alternatives for boosters and be prepared for next time. Usually with a fully organic system there is no need for a flush because of the active rhizosphere and the breakdown of organic substances. I removed the lid containing the net pot, roots and screen that they grew through and had my girl slide a shallow tote underneath. I left an air line/stone with the roots and filled 2 gallons of RO with Clearex which is a commercial flushing agent, mostly composed of citric acid as well as a half of a tsp of Microbes in each gallon. Planning on leaving her like this for a couple days, continuously flushing by the day, pouring from the top of the net pot to fill.

Hey guys! This week my pheno #1 was harvested after 12 days of flush. I forgot to mention that I've been flushing her before the others because she matured her trichomes earlier. She also started to flower a little more than a week before so I was expecting it. :) It was a good run for her I think, ended up with some dense buds that are drying in my dyi dry box, because I still have two other plants running in the tent. My house smells good 👍 I thought about doing the flush in the other two like I said last week, but watching their trichomes development I gave them one more week of feeding, because I think they still have some bulking to do. About the harvest of #1: I've ended up with 334g wet weight, and I will share all the photos and data in the harvest week with all together. Some of the buds are so frosty and they have like small resin balls that dripped from some parts! I've never seen this before in any grow of mine, but I've seen this at another diary here from the same strain. What a pleasant surprise! Have you all a great week, Felix ✌️

The plants are developing well. You can tell we're nearing the end. They don't smell too strong. The first two plants from left to right are kiwi x papaya, followed by Super Larry OG, which has a structural problem. The rest of the plants are grown from given seeds that have shown good visual results.

Light hitting with around 1000 PPFD She is looking beautiful! Smell is getting realy intense. Plant training did its job - many same size Buds with same quality. One of my favourite grows so far!

The Mango Smile is doing great, the Skywalker is a bit small. the light intensity has been adjusted again, the values: PPFd=1200 DLi=70 both plants were watered with 1 liter of water per plant (2ml BioGrow, 2ml BioBloom, 2ml TopMax - 1L Water) -09.08.2024 Visual Control -10.08.2024 Visual Control Soll felt pretty dry, Both plants were watered with 1L water per plant (2ml BioGrow, 3ml BioBloom, 3ml TopMax - 1L Water) -11.08.2024 Visual Control The soil has settled well after a few weeks and today the pots of both plants were filled with some new fresh soil. Both plants were then watered with 500 ml of water per plant -12.08.2024 Did nothing -13.08.2024 Visual Control Soil was dry, 1L Water per Plant The Mango Smile develops yellow leaf tips. fortunately the situation has been recovered! after giving up fertilizers and with the purchase of the humidifier they now look much healthier. some stigmas start to color

D-50 : Everyone is doing great ! The one that had a difficiency alert a couple of weeks ago has recovered. Thanks to the community's helpers ! I setup the net 2 days ago so the flowers are driven to the light and covers maximum of space in the tent. Well, with only 3 strains, I'm not sure it's very usefull, but later would be too late, so I'm doing that now. I already know when I'm going to harvest those girls cause I will be in hollydays for one week at the end of december. So, I'll harvest between the 19th december. I also know what will be my next grow : 3 Shogun (RQS) with 3 Chocolate Haze (RQS). All of themp in the 1m² box. I'll try main-lining with two time toppings on them. They should be a litle less tall after that and optimizing the flower production. At the same time I will test the SmartPots. I think I'm good for a 19 weeks session with 7-8 week veg. and 9-10 weeks flo. So I could start the session at the very bigining of january in the second box (Secret Jardin DP60) while the first session is gently drying... D-53 : all is good :) just add Biobizz Microbes today. Let’s see ! D-55 : add Calmag today to the nutrients. Hope it will help the litle Pinapple that shows a bit of deficiencies.

Just water as soil is premixed with biofeed and silica flash . I did give them a bit of foliar knf food .

Casey's Rollex OG is making progress. I did treat her 4 days ago with neem oil. I did again today after some defoliation and canopy maintenance. The spotting on the leaves appears to have stopped. Hopefully it stays stopped is the intent. Everything else is looking good, and hopefully any pest are exterminated after treatment of the grow room today. These beans have been taking a beating and she still is pulling threw and starting her stretch now as she is heading into the second week of flowering .. I like the smell of this one right now and the structure is good very open just needs buds to start forming up. These were part of the grower of the month contest a while back very good quality genetics ...cheers
