Day 8 of Flowering, this babies are stretching hard and starting to show white pistils and i couldn't be happier! Even if the soil is pre fertilized i just added 0,5ml of Biomagno FiorituraOM to help the plants start flowering, as @Mangodudu said EC was only 1,2 it shouldn't get them overfert. The structure il very nice and the plants are vigorous and always with praying leaves, i defoliated pretty hard and fixed every branch to a bamboo stick, so they don't have to carry the weight of the buds in the next weeks and focus all the energies in the bulking up the buds. I also just lowered the lights to get some light stress and help the plants stretch harder, and the response was amazing they just doubled the size in this first week of flower, I'm also very happy with this canna plus pro soil, it takes the water and drys very fast it think it's thanks to all the cocco in it.

This week I transplanted the clones of the first plants in flower.( 1 gallon container ) I also finished the final defoliation of the six bigger plants in veg before they get moved into a 11/13 light cycle (about 2 weeks). Pheno #2 at the moment is my favorite. All though it’s the smallest plant it has an amazing pheno that smells like blueberry gummy bears. The rest are showing strong cheese tones with hints of berries.

Its that time of week again for our weekly update. I'm more than sure now that this is a photo seed rather than an auto seed, it's still continously growing rapid and big but no sight of flowering at the moment, I may have to give it another week or 2 before I switch the light to 12/12 to start her flowering stage. But so so pleased with her progress.

A couple of problems arose with my two newest grows so I thoroughly checked the compost pot and looked if the worms were okay. After harvesting the GDP, I wanted to throw out her soil. It had been used two runs and I have no place to reuse it outside. Did my best and sifted through the dirt looking for her worms. Found only six 😔. Four adults and two adolescents who were just getting their red color in. This was not a good sign. The worms were obviously not reproducing enough to keep up a colony, and that was most likely due to the soil ph. Don't have the instrument to measure it, but as my ph meter was broke the past two weeks.... 😅😅 Time to check in on the Vermicompost and see if they are still 'grinding'. ----------------------------------- April 17 Last picture I have of her soil structure. ----------------------------------- April 23 Took that thing apart!! It must have took 3 hours to sift through all the soil, rip up bark coco and what not. sift out the worms and keep them moist, but it was finished. I don't know how many worms there are but it's a good handful. About the same amount I put in there in the beginning. There were also perhaps 20 or so eggs that caught my eye. These are good signs! After the manhandled soil was put into an other pot, I drowned her with 12L of dechlorinated tapwater (thanks to Envi Chlorine Clear!!). BioDown to 6.3 ph + 0.2g/L Microbes. I don't know how many liters of water ran off, but that soil is definitely at 6.3 now... .. and the sewage pipes might be clogged 😅😇😂 Let the pot set to dry, at a tilt. Changed position every 5 minutes or so, about 2 hours long. Hopefully all the excess water is out! Introduced the Army of Wiggles to their new accommodations and said good night. There are probably still remnants of BioBizz nutrients in the soil, and I'm too lazy to flush again. Won't start her on the new microbial food until I'm sure the Living take hold of this environment. Coming from a possible 7.5 down to 6.3ph might be an adjustment. I'm having troubles to upload my photo/videos. Concerning the plants, they keep going as always and I'm keep using my banana (and potato since now + honey) juice to watering them. I'm also adding green sensation following the manufacturer advice. Humidity and temperature are getting better as winter comes.

End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

The plants are coming along nicely for the most part. I have been finding bud rot in big mama... not much but I'm a little bit worried. I've been cutting it out when I find it. The trichomes are cloudy with sparse amber. The wind has been a concern the past week or so. I shared a video which kind of gives an idea of what we are dealing with. We are looking at harvest two weeks out - max. Maybe sooner. FFT2 is significantly behind the other varieties... fattening up more slowly.

Die Blüte Dreams beeindruckt mich immernoch mit ihrer Wuchsform. Selbst durch dass Supercropping bildet Sie einfach nur einen Trieb als Haupttrieb aus. Daher gehe ich nun davon aus, dass dies die erste Sorte in meinem Anbau ist, welche einfach nicht getopt werden sollte. Und dennoch wächst sie super weiter. Bin auf das Ergebnis absolut gespannt.

So far the best plants here without a doubt are the Grapefruits witch are covefed in frost, followed by the Kola Kushes than are not as frosty but are doing well, and finally the Ble Dreams wich are being absolutely disapointing, with hughe internodal spaces with only a few sad calyxes growing on them...

-6/4/23 Start of Week --Week 11/Flower 5 -6/10/23 (Day 84/Flower 35) --Observations: starting to form calyxes, sent intensifying, --Changes: started giving water every other day --Comments: buds are starting to form calyxes and sent is getting stronger. still smells of lemons, it's hard to tell the difference between scent of the purple lemonade and the lemon basil. realized that not enough water was being given so now giving water every other day, may still not be enough water for all the plants in this pot. -6/10/23 End of Week

All plants are now dried over the space of 10 days at roughly 65f and 55% humidity in the dark. It’s been 2 weeks into the cure and the smells are popping and the sample buds taste great and get me lit af. Didn’t really expect 5 vastly different phenotypes from 5 seeds, is this the norm?
