Week 4 the right plant shows a deficiency... no idea what that is. the light from the lamp was too strong at first but it shouldn't be... I don't know - I'll keep an eye on it... I think the left plant looks good... growing splendidly - sativa genes are showing... the right plant is growing more bushy 👉Defoliation and exposing the shoots👈 I removed all the leaves that were or would soon be covered with scissors ✂️ - I started in the middle to give the plant more air flow

The plants seem to have recovered from nute lockout in week 6-7. The sour looks to be finishing soon waiting on mircoscope to look at trichomes. The sour is getting frosty with a strong lemon/ pin/citrus smell! Thumbs up to @Dinafem 👍 great genetics. The BCN Critical is a beast very resistant! The plant is about 4ft tall, healthy, growing slower then the sour probably because of the size. Exactly what was advertised👌 @seedstockers, can't wait to see how these girl smoke.

Run-off got pretty high on the plants in the main tent when I tested it this week (2300ppm) so I flushed the plants down to around 900 over a few water events with half-strength nutes (~450). I think this, plus (mainly) the plants being too close to the LED caused them to throw some foxtails - particularly the middle plant (although I still think that spindly shit is also partly due to the bag seed pheno). Noob mistake on my end and I didn't realize until it was too late. Now the light is turned down and the run-off is back in a good range. It got high because my auto-watering halos were mostly running off the pots and not sinking in - this is because I filled the pots to the brim with coco (another noob mistake). Looks like I'm hand watering until harvest :) Big Mumma in the blurple tent on the other hand is still killing it.. Apologies for having to upload videos of the microscope - too hard to hold it still and press the button for photos lol.

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! This marks the start of a new chapter, and I’m incredibly curious to see how the plants react to these changes. Here’s the current nutrient mix: • System Clean: 0.5 ml/L • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • RO Water Conditioner: 0.8 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid: 2.1 ml/L I’m keeping the pH at 6.1 and TDS at 556 ppm, and so far, the plants are thriving. The bud formation across all the genetics is nothing short of incredible. Every plant is thriving, and the canopy is lush, vibrant, and full of potential. What up fam, weekly update on these gorgeous ladies. They're getting really close. I'll probably be harvesting these this coming week to wash. So they'll be getting chopped and froze until I bubblewash them turning it into fresh frozen live rosin. They smell so good I find myself going back to for more. The flowers have all swelled amazing to nice size buds with what I like to think is the perfect density. Have some alcohol near by after touch them as your fingers will be stuck together. Growth, growth, growth…. They are vegging out now! Definitely seeing the size of my tent getting smaller and smaller this week. Getting ready to bloom soon! I do have to note … the funny guys on the side are from a failed attempt earlier grow this year. We def weren’t ready for them… they got cold, the soil wasn’t right. I got all of that right finally but they instantly went into bloom and def weren’t ready. Oh well!

Day 43: after watering it got bigger - the buds are getting bigger, the height of the plant increase aswell. Today I started seeing a bit of snow on the leaves? Day 44: watered with 1.5l Day 46: watered again with 2l Plant is getting sticky. And I finally saw some trichomes!!!! Day 49: Buds are getting bigger, one the main stem huge one is forming, but just right underneath are two side buds - a bit afraid of mold.. Right now hard to keep humidity under 55, doing a lot of defoliation almost daily. LST should have been better, got unfortunately uneven

10/21- Flower has begun!! I've been gradually removing growth from under the canopy that I dont anticipate will become sizeable buds. Now we wait for the stretch. Took a few clones to try my hand at that. Air is drying out big time lately. I'm probably going to have to give in and buy a humidifier because it's going to be essential to keep my buds from drying out too fast and keeping these plants in healthy rh range. Despite humidity swings, plants seem to be doing well across the board so I already have a leg up on my last grow. I sprayed for bugs as a precaution. Neem and peppermint Castille soap diluted in water was the choice. Left a residue on my plants though so live been keeping my light between 30-40% and gradually turning up the intensity each day until I reach where I was(70) I dont want to burn my leaves because I have treating for bugs before. I will add pictures this weekend. This is posted on Day one so there's really not too much change to show in the plants. Really excited to see how they develop over the next 2 weeks. 10/24 Added pics of two plants. I accidently deleted my shoot of GZ 2 and I don't feel like taking them out of the tent again because it's a bit of a pain with the net. It's much taller than it's sister and maybe the healthier plant at this point. Moby dick is a bush, very healthy even still. No real signs of flower yet. They do seem to be stretching a bit but when you look everyday it's hard to tell. I'm hoping to have a really nice canopy in a week.

4/1/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Veg (Day 59 overall) Water Change Day!!! Water was really low it was just above the hump in the Res cutting it close to not having enough water in the system to keep it going. They drank a lot making it close going the full 14 days. I am still going with the previous grows and adding 36 Gallons but even looking at the root I think the SILICA is working and the roots are further along at this point than in previous grows. This next two weeks will watch how much they drink and how low my Res starts getting, and will make a decision on changing the water weekly from here on out or still keep on the plan of every other week until Week 4 of Flower. I will be taking two clones from each to breed over the next few weeks depending on when I am going to flip them. 4/3/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Veg (Day 61 overall) A little FIMing, A little Topping, and a Little bit of defoliation. Might have to take my clones during the week this week, I am trying to wait until Saturday to hit week 8 but again they are getting all over the place and I need to trim some of the sides and lower areas. 4/4/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Veg (Day 62 overall) I decided to take my clones and clean up the lower half of the plants. I took 2 clones from each plant to go into the cloning machine. 4/5/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Veg (Day 63 overall) Water Temp is sitting at 73. Right in my ideal range for my setup. Ideal range 70-74 My Temp Tent is my ideal zone75.6 Ideal for this grow 70-78 The lights are still waiting the switch to flower to get maxed out... The Humidity is coming in right at 60% I love it.. I took so much off yesterday I figure it was a good day to let them rest. 4/6/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Veg (Day 64 overall) I needed to Defoliate some and I topped a little. The plants might force me to flip them soon. Next Wed is the 10 week mark half way through the 20 weeks. The net is Bingo... Which means that If/when the plants hit the net I will have to flip them. The Net is set to the max height that I can let them get based on the Breeders Stretch report 75%. 4/7/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Veg (Day 65 overall) #3 is 22 inches Tall, #2 is 19 Inches Tall. Net is set at 24 inches. Net is also set as my Bingo point, if they hit the net then I have to flip no matter what to account for the Breeders recommended 75% Stretch allowance. I think I am going to have to flip right at the 10 week mark of the Competition which is Wed 12 Apr. I topped a little, I de-foliated a lot to start getting it ready for the anticipated Flip.
