7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. My Skunk Apple Run plant is still a bit young, but I can see those buds starting to form. It's a bit of a slow starter, with buds popping up all over the place instead of a nice even line. We'll see if adjusting the light cycle or its food might help it along. I'll keep you posted on any changes. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

Shes close!! lol I think I might be missing a week oh well lol she is the plumpest auto in the tent of the 4 by far!!! she lookin thiiiickkkkkkk. shes got about 5 giant colas, lots of trichs and stanks real good!!! indoor and outdoor have their own goals but this is obviously alot higher quality than outdoor! The next update could quite possibly be the harvest 😎

Dried for 6-7 days in 24 degrees and 59% humidity. Now stored and cured with boveda 58%. Smells amazing like bergamotte or mandarin tree and lime juice with woody notes. It‘s a sweet strain with intense taste.

01/15 day 8 of flower start of week 2 did a little super dropping to some tops on 2 and 3 raised light to ceiling and moved fan. Will do defoliation once bottom probe number drops to 60 or lower

UPDATE mid week spoted smnth on the soil that turned out to be a polinator. When inspected the plant found them all over. Especialy in the lower btanches. But on mostly all of branches, they are blendong in with lower buds very tight making them hard to clear. I belive there still some left. And most probably they are going to keem emerging. 3rd week of flowering - looks good. Hairy and even a bit frosty already. I was wrong about water consumprion. Although I managed to put 2 liters at a time and the fabric pot held it, it was too much, the soil was wet for around 4 days. And the humidity in my 50 by 50 cm 1 meter high tent was 99%. So wattering back to 1 liter each second day, just right. Starting to think that maybe in couple of weeks I will need to remove some fan leaves as it realy is quite bushy and when buds will start to swell and get dencier I will need to addres humidity concearns

🇩🇪 Ich war dann doch neugierig und hab mich dazu entschieden nach einer Woche einen Teil der restlichen Erde und den Rand vom Airpot zu entfernen um mal zu schauen wie sich die Wurzeln in dem Bereich machen. Und tatsächlich mehr oder wenige wie geplant und am Ende durch das verrutschen der Pflanzen oberhalb der Erde auch wie erwartet nicht ganz perfekt aber dennoch bin ich für den ersten Versuch sehr zufrieden. Auch wenn die Wurzel nicht von Fingerspitze zu Fingerspitze geht und sich der Stamm nicht mehr zur Seite sonder mehr nach oben verwachsen hat. Ist sie trotzdem sehr gelungen. Und kann sich die nächste Zeit erstmal wieder erholen und wird nur hier und da in Form gehalten. Happy growing💛✌️ 🇬🇧 I got curious and decided after a week to remove some of the remaining soil and the edge of the Airpot to see how the roots were doing in that area. And indeed, more or less as planned, and in the end, due to the plants shifting above the soil, it wasn't quite perfect, as expected, but I'm still very happy with it for the first attempt. Even though the root doesn't stretch from fingertip to fingertip and the stem has grown upwards instead of sideways, she still turned out very well and can now recover for a while and will only need occasional trimming. The plant is still going strong, but I noticed that the colors have faded a bit. Not necessarily a bad thing, though—I realized the temperature difference between day and night was a bit too extreme, which probably caused unnecessary stress. It did look absolutely stunning with those colorful leaves, but stability is more important now.🌱 Other than that, everything is going great! The buds are getting thicker, stinkier, and completely covered in frost.😍 The dominant smell is still pink pepper, which is really interesting. Sometimes I get a hint of something sweet, but I’m not sure yet if it will develop more over time.💚

Night humidity is getting up to 78% will need to buy a dehumidifier.

Hi all, End of week 6 flowering, this week I noticed some of the plants seemed to have nutrient burn from overfeeding even though I had lowered the EC from previous run. So all the plants got flushed with 6.2 pure RO water and the run off measured 1.2 EC with 5.9 PH so I will give them a second flush in the coming week. Also the plants are becoming unstable due to the nicely forming dense fat nuggs so need to keep humidity under control to avoid bud rot and tie them up for support..
