This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Gorilla Cookies continues to smell and is very sticky. It is a tall and lanky plant but look at the heavy buds weighing down the stems. It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. Die Seven Freeze scheint sich von nun an ziemlich auf ihre Blüten zu konzentrieren, sie ist in dieser Woche nur 1 cm gewachsen. Dafür treten ihre Blüten immer deutlicher hervor. Bestäubt wurde sie bisher mit Durban Poison, Seven Freeze und Erdbeer IBL. Wenn es so bleibt und sie nach Standard nach maximal 10 Wochen Blütezeit fertig wäre, dann wäre das in der ersten Septemberwoche. Eine sichere Bank vor Eintritt in die Schimmelphasen mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit. Aber wer weiß, wie sich das Wetter entwickeln wird... Ihre Blüten zeigen sich nun deutlich, die Internodien, aus denen die Blütenbüschel wachsen sind sind recht kurz, es sieht nach Kolbenblüten aus. Die bisherige Düngung war sehr Stickstoff- und Kalium lastig, Phosphor fehlte komplett, deshalb habe ich mit Fledermaus-Guano zugelegt, der einen sehr hohen Phosphoranteil hat. Zwei Esslöffel auf 9l. Wasser, mit Staubmaske im Gesicht. Vorsicht kann bei solch einem Stoff geboten sein! Horrorstories aus dem Internet. 😱 Auch die Feigen wurden damit gedüngt, hoffe sie werden groß und saftig. Nächste Woche kommt die Ausrüstung zur Erstellung von Komposttee (eine kleine Druckluftpumpe und das passende Rohr zur Umwälzung). Das soll viele, viele Mikroben aus meinem Wurmkompost vermehren, die sich fleissig am Pflanzenwachstum und deren Gesundheit beteiligen. Es ist eine Neuheit für mich, wenigstens wird der Wurmkompost hier sinnvoll verbraucht. Etwas Humus vom Boden der Benjeshecke kommt auch noch rein. Alle 2-3 Wochen möchte ich mit Komposttee gießen. Und es wird Zeit für ein Top Layer in den Töpfen mit Hornmehl, Rinderdungpellets, Wurmkompost und etwas Erde. Es wird Bilder und Blubbervideos geben. Green Cure CBD Auto is making good progress. Her roots are starting to poke out the bottom. She was trained some more today. She got a little hungry and started to get a little pale looking. Fixed that through obvious solution of feeding more. Everything is doing good. They looking good, but temp is a little too high. It is what it is One of the plants (In front to the left) is more frosty, with less amber pistils. But overall the trichomes are starting to go from crystal to cloudy. Bonsoir les amis, Je suis toujours aussi content et Émerveillé devant mes Fifilles elles grandissent tout les jours j'ai vraiment hâte qu'elles arrivent à terme en espérant qu'elles seront magnifiques. J'ai perdu deux petites fifilles c'était les plus petites (5cm) de haut. Je pense que c'est quand je les est rempoté j'ai dû cassé la tige 😑. Bonne soirée à tous 😉👍👍👍

Another week of things going well! I dialed in my automated watering system by sealing the port where the 1/2in tube connects with the output outlet with an FDA approved silicone gel. Wanted to get the FDA sealant since anything else would leak chemicals into the watering reservoir. Tested and no leaks detected! I also found out that there are these sweet quick connectors you can get from Amazon. The nice thing about this is that it makes my watering system modular. I can disconnect the tube feeding into the tent by pushing the quick connect tab and addressing the bucket without dealing with tedious connects and disconnects. All I need to do when I’m ready to reconnect the bucket, I just push the line from the bucket into the quick connector. Additionally, I started using .25 ml (25%) of compost tea along with .25ml (25%) of silica. I think I will need to up the dose next week to 50% strength for both. I will do a transfer to the 1 gal pot in 2 weeks!

British Delight - Wizard Trees Day 84 - Watered with 3L of RO tap water with nutrients mixed individually, in order and then pH'd to 6.3! Week 7 of bloom and shes doing pretty good, but she is very very bushy around her bud sites, I might need to do a big defolation session on her this week, but for now I've just removed the larger fan leaves to allow more light and airflow 👌 I've increased the nutrients in her feed to give her a boost in these final few weeks! She looks and smells fantastic, but I'm a little worried about how much flower I'll get from her... She's covered from head to toe in trichomes, but its mostly sugar leaves from what I can see... a little disapointing, but it is what it is... I was going to start prepping her for harvest next week, but I might just let her go for another week, just to be sure she gets the most out of it 🙏

Day 58, 7th of November 2020: The 6th day since the lamp switched to be 12/12. I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plants remain in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... They look good and strech is on the way..... These Original Sensible ones are having really nice smell :) Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;)

Week 5 of flower! Did some defoliation and some more supercropping to bring the height down, as I measured 70k lux at the canopy (a little too much). Buds are stacking nicely now, it's on cruise control from here on out. Just gonna let the plant do its thing.

Runtz Automatic - Zamnesia Day 51 - watered with 2L of RO tap water with defined nutrients. She's has stopped growing and is focusing all her energy on bulking now, as her flower gets taller and thicker, and her arouma is now filling the tent; a rich, sweet smell, really beautiful. 👌 I have to say, I'm very impressed with her, she is so beautiful and requires little to no work, this week was the first time I've had to perform any real defoliation on her since she entered bloom and it was only to remove smaller fan leaves around the bud sites, to allow more light to get to them. Notes: - Looking at her today, I would say she's around 2-3 weeks from harvest, which would be one of my fastest seed-to-harvests ever 💪
