Week 12 Flower 8 Pink Rozay This week was all about checking trichomes. Pink Rozay trichomes show mostly milk and amber. There are a few heads that are dark brown that indicate too late to harvest. The older pistils are turning orange brown and water consumption is slowing down. These and the trichome indicators indicate readiness. Based on this, I put Pink Rozay in the cool garage with low light and ice on top of the pot at night this week. The frostbanger is a easy to grow plant. Lets see how big she grows

Hey guys . A wonderful week goes by with a super growth :-). After I topped it for the first time last week, it recovered very quickly and showed great growth. I braided the shoots of Dr Grinspoon under the hooks with LST every day. It still looks a bit uncoordinated and funny but that will change as soon as it is allowed to grow in height while it is in bloom :-). Depending on how long the other women in the tent still need their vegiphase, I then switch to 12/12 hours for flowering. I think it will be ready in the next 7-14 days 👍. This week it was poured 3 times with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). The tent was cleaned and the health of all women was checked :-). After the photos she was sprayed again with neem oil so that the last little tripse disappeared. Even if you can't see any more trips I will spray it one last time next week to make sure :-). The Apple Cup hermied this week along with the Baker's Dozen. Fortunately Tropicanna Poison is flowering so fast that it seems to be unbothered by the hermies next to it. The hermied plants will be stunted as more energy will be focused on developing pollen/seeds. Also I'll have to chop them down early before any seeds begin to solidify within the buds. It's ideal to immediately remove any hermies as soon as pollen sacs are spotted. Unfortunately I only have my small closet space so I decided to leave them and observe the growth of hermies.

What up grow fam. These 3 finally got the chop. Wow do they smell pungent. The flowers came out nice, not to dense but neither airy. The wet weight for these came out to 912g. To say they're coated in frost is an understatement looking like a winter wonderland.

Definitely going for at least 8 weeks, maybe 9-10, before the flip. Want to root out these 5.4 gallon air pots and see what kind of yield I can get. Removed first node of each branch entirely & a few scattered leaves now shading, topped all but 1 of the plants at the pot edge; A couple didn't quite make it that long because amazon decided to lose my soft ties and the wire ties cut through the stem. It'll be fine either way. Not happy with the runty two, but three out of five are gorgeous. Shame there's little point in keeping a clone mother with a 6 plant limit. Only Recharge once this week because I'm too snowed in to go get purified water; the PPM here is already 660-700, didn't want to add much to the water so I just put bio rhizotonic and pHed it. Pretty easy growing in this plant if I remember right, expected her to be tall and huge but instead they grew stubby with super dense flowers. Love trimming wasn’t all that bad in this strain but my lack of strain knowledge led to deficiencies and stress from environment. The buds I produced on both these plants are certified mids, and not really my type of smoke (sativa dominant) but my lady and friends enjoy it for daytime and a mid day pick me up

The gutter hoe grow show powered by the viparspectra XS2000 is still in action. The plants are showing that they aren't completely happy with the limited root space they have but they are growing some buds. Crescendo is definitely the most trich coated of the bunch. The big detroit energy is producing some big fat buds. Lowered the temp to 72. Other than that the juice will keep pumping and the lights will keep beaming.

It’s been a busy week with defoliation,,exposing the flowers to as much light as possible,,,couple of close together branches,,so taking the leaves off,,exposé’s the tight spots,,keeping up her food to maximum strength,,and keeping her hydrated is key for now,,,she is starting to let off some awesome aroma,,👍👍👍👍🙏💚💚

Well, this week has been eventful. What started with a fly deciding to lay eggs in my buckets with larvae swimming around and chilling on my roots turned into a bit of a disaster. I used very weak H2O2 (diluted 3% solution). To try and clean infestation, the roots didn’t like it, even though the actual concentration of H2O2 was probs less than 0.25%. Lesson learned 🙃 It has given some of them a touch of root rot (this is an assumption because I can’t figure out what else it could have been). So growth has stunted a lot. Just before the bug problem, I increased EC to 1.1, this was probably another mistake, the smaller girls at the back with a smaller root mass got massive lock out, potassium, mag and calcium by the looks of it, coupled with a few not so well timed PH swings out of the 5.5-6.5 range gave me a lot to combat this week. But, life goes on, they’re still alive (just about)... As this is probably the hardest curve ball I’ve had thrown at me since I started growing canna, I have cut back the EC to 0.56 to allow them to heal. Probably wrongly decided to top them all as they were growing past 7th node, either it’s gonna pay off, or I’ll be posting harvest details of 0g by this time next week 👽 I am on a stay at home holiday from work for the next 3 weeks, so looks like my babies are staying in the ICU and I’ll do my best to bring them back to life 😊

Die Woche lief sehr entspannt. Sie wachsen einfach kräftig vor sich hin. Ich habe sie nun in die Autopots verfrachtet und schaue Mal, wie sie diese annehmen. Ich bin erst weiter mit 1,5 EC gefahren, werden aber aufgrund des fehlenden Drains doch erstmal einen niedrigeren auf 1,3 benutzen und schauen, wie die Damen sich dadurch entwickeln . Die Damen entwickeln sich gut, sind mir aber etwas zu schlacksig. Die Stämme könnten etwas robuster sein, aber das kann auch dem Wetter geschuldet sein, und ich denke nicht , dass die Spritz eine klassische Outdoor Sorte ist, außer vielleicht für Spanien. Ich habe deshalb noch das Hesilico gekauft und ein wenig überdosiert ( 1ml pro l ) , um das Wachstum in der Streckung etwas zu dämpfen.

She started out as the most vigorous grower, but may have been too quick for her own good. She began having deficiencies early on which were easy to address, but they came back intermittently. Ultimately she didn’t thicken up quite as much as I would have liked, but the trichome coverage is much higher than the Sour Kush.

Can’t find anything negative to report. Summer camp is going well. All girls are in stretch and looking like they’re going to be basketball players. All are on course to be tall for auto’s. The shortest is now the tallest, the Harvey Wallbanger is at 30 inches, the next is the 91 Grapes at 28 inches and bringing up the rear is the Vanilla Fizz at 26 inches tall. The weather has been a little hotter and drier past few days so the girls will either get a drink tomorrow or the next day. *** update August 2 Day 44 Girls are about half way through summer camp and have been in stretch for the last week. Big changes have happened with the Harvey W. Now five inches taller than the 91 Grapes and the Vanilla Fizz still being the shortest at 28 inches tall. All three girls have entered flower so additional stretch should be minimal (we will see). Lights have the option of adding different spectrums for specific effects, so added some blue to see if it doesn’t slow down the stretch (I think it will). Should help tighten up the nodes as well. Watered them once on Thursday morning with plain water ph of 6.0. Debating whether or not to top dress with bloom nutrients this next time or wait until stretch has stopped.

Coming along nicely seems to take longer to bloom than most Autos maybe 11-13 weeks but looks like it will be worth it. Buds are gong to be many not sure how big they will be but looking like they will be huge.
