This one is going to be weirdly exciting like all grows… but nothing beats growing strain you know nothing about down to to it’s ID. This is why this diary is dubbed Unknown Strain, and a lot more journals will be dubbed unknown strain. eg. Unknown Strain #1 - these strains are seeds I’ve collected and forgot to catalogue Unknown Strain (dealer/grow name #1) - I have it this way,to indicate where or from whom did I get the seed, but failed to get the accurate information regarding the strain. Alike this particular diary. I received seeds from my friend saplug16.20_exotic_genetics. Check out his work on instagram, his my mentor in growing. But I go overboard when it comes to growing. Ever since I’ve seen YouTube videos of growers growing weed plants like bonsais, I started growing my plants like I am growing actual bonsais, LST them in shapes and size while using defoliation and topping to achieve aesthetics. This type of growing is not focused on yield more for the hobbyist who grows for themselves and close friends. But I want to see if I can get more yield with this type of growing bud.

I think I trained too hard too late in harvest. One of the Wedding Cake plants went hermie and pollenated everything. I'm disappointed but I'll be more gentle at the end of flower next grow. The buds were still good in a vape but I had to be careful of the seeds. I made hash from most of it.

She getting chopped today and hanging the whole plant, just trimming the big fan leaves and putting her into my drying box. She's down, had to split the branches as they were very tightly packed and not much room for air circulation.

This strain give us a highest yield so far with 924g of dry buds after trimming and ready to be cured. And this pheno is pretty strong, it grows super fast, and have a very strong smell of jackfruit.

Big resinous and compact buds, strong smell of the tent its elongated stems are the buds on top getting fatter every week I hope to be surprised with this girl her looks are beautiful great coloring and leaves to go where I need to let her gain more weight and the amber colors are necessary in trichomes, feeding well and requiring more water than the others, even without pure water 😚

Week 3 males developing right on time! Pollen will be dispersing soon. So now trying to nail down who daddy was? Week 3 day 1 males looking very nice, no sign of either one showing female flowers( no hermaphrodite/ true male) but I will stress them more after reveg for severe stress test. For final results. Looks like I forgot to feed mom! Shit! But I did not.I used bio tone starter 5-1-1 by Espoma gonna feed in am. With tomato tone with myco 3-4-6 it's all I got and organic to boot 👍 Last grow with Captains cake went to 11 weeks 2 - 3 applications should get me to finish line. No flush should be needed, it's feeding the seeds growth. Looking at 07/01/2018 harvest. Fingers crossed! 05/05/2018 First burst of male pollen is flying in the air, gonna try to get video of it as I shake the males. I am brewing tea with worm castings unsulphured molasses,topped off with protilizer immediately after brewing it. Give them a little love (Tea) while they are making seeds👊

Hello growmies! Welcome to week seven of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! I have just completed the final defoliation for the three least advanced (and largest) girls. I have also rearranged the tent again to try to maximize the space available and light usage. I have not fertigated for 5 days after the last fertigation was a flush without coco base. I am struggling with humidity at the moment so I have been trying to let the plants go more dry than usual. Daily Updates ### Week 7 Day 2 02:30 7/8 Heavily defoliated plants 1, 5 & 6 and removed some of the lower branches. Rearranged tent then photographed & measured: Plant 1 is now almost unbelievably 2nd tallest at "only" 141cm in height! Her stretch has just about ended. Plant 2 has stopped stretching at 111cm and is 2nd most advanced into flower. Plant 3 has stopped stretching at 95cm and is most advanced into flower. Plant 4 has stopped stretching at 100cm and is 3rd most advanced into flower. Plant 5 has gained 6cm this week and may add few more but she is pretty close to done stretching at 119cm. Plant 6 has gained 22cm this week and isn't quite finished. She is now the tallest plant in the series at 142cm. ### Week 7 Day 2 07:00 7/8 Fertigated 1.6l each ### Week 7 Day 4 02:00 9/8 Fertigated 1.6l each reduced coco a/b to 2m/l each. Spent a bit more time photographing and videoing to try and capture the changes and the developmental differences. These 140cm+ plants are going to STACK. I am bracing myself for a lot of trimming and a monster harvest. 🙏 The current order of maturity and likely order of harvest is 3 2 4 1 5 6. I think the first and last plants will be at least a week apart in harvest, perhaps 2 or 3. ### Week 7 Day 6 23:00 11/8 Fertigated 1.6l each The smell in the tent is there now, really not that strong but there are 6 plants motoring through flower here now so it's not insignificant either. Plant 3 is absolutely stacking now, she's more or less run out of space around her cola and is now growing some foxtail like structures, exciting! Plant 6 the least mature is 2-3 weeks behind plant 3, but her stretch has finally stopped at 144cm. Took wide angle in tent photos today. Hey bros! Around 362g wet, so a lot less from her previous version. Was it the fert I gave less or was it the time of harvest that was around a week earlier? Anyways, I tested and smoked a joint from a 1 week drying bud and it was great. Thanks for following! On my next diary I will do a clone of this plant. 3rd generation. Please, follow up. Thanks all! I cut down plant #2 last week, dried the bud and put it in jars for curing. Plant #1 still has a ways to go. It's starting to smell better (before there wasn't much of a smell), I haven't spotted any amber trichomes and the pistils are still mostly white and stretching. I'm only feeding it plain, tap water and will see what happens. I'll keep you posted!

My plants are doing better with more heat and less light. My light is turned down to 30%. I installed a oil heater so the tent stays above 80 even during lights out. My plants have never looked healthier. Changing off of my veg nutes and going to flower dosages.

It was Christmas this week so I haven’t been giving the girls that much love just water only. I did make a compost tea today that I will be giving them tomorrow P.zkittles x temple kush- they are getting frosty. Pheno #2 is definitely shining over #5. No more diesel smell more of a fruit basket Purple punch- the bag appeal on these hoes are unreal. I am just disappointed on the yeild department. When we ran this outdoor she really produced. I’m wondering if it had to do with a phosphorus deficiency. Thats what I thought I had. It could just be the genetics on how purple she got in early flower.

Hi all 🧑‍🌾 Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Hope everyone keeping well and having a great week😁 Thank you so much for so much support on this bananas ride 🙏💜💚💜💚 Everything still going pretty well. Girls are developing and stretching like crazy. Athena currently Dec 14 90cm and main stem of Xena is not far of this height either. Unfortunately noticed first signs of calcium deficiency(my opinion) on Athena. Thankfully started feeding both girls with calmag weeks back but the dosage wasn't not enough for Athena. Started small treatment very next day on Dec 11 (see description below) I belive got my baby back on right track. Week 9 Dec 11-17 Dec 11 Watering was planned for Tuesday but due to calcium deficiency decided for a little treatment. Watered both girls with mixture of reduced content of growth nutes by 50% calmag at 1.2 ml per ltr. Reduced solution PH to 6.2 as apperently it's ideal for calcium consumption. Over period 4h I have watered Athena with 5ltr with couple runoffs. Xena 3ltr. Total of 7-10 leaves affected mainly at top colas close to the light. Dec 12-13 Purely observation and all looking well. Of course all affected leaves will progres of showing signs but good news is that growth and development booming and don't see any new leaves with symptoms. Very nice trichomes development in recent days and more and more colours. Dec 14 Second watering for this week 6.5l Increased calmag to 1.4ml per ltr and if still things will be looking well reduce to 1 or 1.2 on next feeding. Dec 15 Very nice respond on yesterday feeding. They definitely fatten over night and getting more and more frosty. Will need to remove some foliage soon as getting extremely bushy again. Dec 17 Xenas main stem top cola almost touched the light today. Tied her to left side of the cabinet, applied selective defoliation on both girls, tied few branches to netting and on the end of this busy day a third watering for this week. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Runoffs Xena PH6.4 Athena 6.3. Very nice week have to say. I belive that calcium deficiency on Athena is no longer a case here and both girls developing very nicely.
