Blueberry Pie is off to a great start. It's 4 days behind the gorilla gas in the tent but catching up. I'm really excited for this one because I love any type of blueberry strains and it's a F1 so it should produce high quality flower. I will be posting timelapse videos throughout the grow and will update as much as possible.

Cal-med 1ml/L Top dressed a sprinkle of Gaia green dry amendments (power bloom). I was away for new years and it was underwatered along with the others, but I don't see much scope for improvement 😂 side by side in the tent is this guy and another of the same seed (critical +2.0). The difference between the two was expected but still astounding!

Good growth this week! She is the smallest girl in the tent but she looks healthy enough. Things progressing very well.

Flipped these ladies 06 Oct 23 (Friday). After watering 09 Oct 23 (Monday) I walked in and the before SOG photos are what it looked like, I put up the new net and tied a few tops down to spread the canopy out. With the new trellis in place I'm going to let theses ladies rip and add another trellis once they outgrow their current one.

I grew two plants of the FFT1 testers. I started them indoors in the spring during COVID19 lock down. The germination date was the week of March 25, 2020. I didn't start the grow diary at that time because I was having a really hard time coping with the COVID19 non-sense and I wasn't sure I was completely committed to properly documenting the grow. In the end, I think this grow helped me cope... ha! So I topped one FFT1 plant, and let the other grow 'native' with no interventions at all. Both were grown totally organically with no added nutrients. We moved the plants outside on May 1, 2020 into our home made greenhouse/trellis. I took a few photos but I was still not committed to documenting the grow. I wasn't even sure if the plants would grow well considering I hadn't provided them with any nutrients at all. In fact I felt like I was neglectful of the ladies LOL. It became clear to me by June that these plants were gonna take off... they were growing like mad! I realized that I really HAD to share what was going on in my back yard. Also, I had made the commitment to FastBuds, and I was sure they would want to see the plants. I started this journal as soon as they started the first signs of flowering. By the time the stretch was done Big Mama (my first FFT1 plant) was an insane monster at 10 feet fall. Little Sister (the second FFT1 plant) was a solid 7 feet tall. Big Mama had been topped and mainlined and holy cow she was HUGE with eight main colas. Little Sister had not been topped and she was less than half the size. The buds were beautiful as you can see from the photos. They weren't super fat, and they weren't super frosty, but they were like piles of spaghetti noodles with beautiful streaks of amber. There were bud sites ALL OVER. Near the end of the grow, as the buds were 99% ripe I started to see small spots of bud rot in Big Mama. That's when I pulled the trigger and started the harvest. COVID19 put a real damper on our harvest party, but we were able to call in a few friends from our 'bubble.' Big Mama's wet yield was around 2600g and Little Sister offered 1300g. I was totally astonished. I have to LOL any time I look at the numbers LOL. We trimmed all of Big Mama by hand, but lost our steam for Little Sister. Her trim was rough, and we will have to use our Trimbag to clear off some of the foilage... I adjusted my dry weight numbers to accommodate for this. We dried them in the mesh tiered dry racks for the first few days and then moved them into large paper bags. They are not quite as dry as I think they should be, and so I have adjusted my dry weight numbers to reflect this. Total dry weight for both plants is coming in at 2000g total which is around 4.5 pounds. We put a bunch in the vapes and had a whole lot of fun! The vibe is a solid hybrid offering lots of energy for chit chatting and talking shit. But it's not a racy energy... it's somehow relaxing at the same time. We watched Alone on Netflix and made out... while eating ice cream and chips LOL. I was properly stoned. Stoned as fuck. My eyes were completely red and Njaak was a squinting grinning mofo. He's saying it's his new favourite, and that's before it's cured. This bodes well! So we have put the weed back in paper bags for the cure and are excited about this one. The flavour... we are going with sweet with a bit of citrus, but I think we need a bit more time to let it cure before we could offer reliable data. I'll update more on that later.

11/15 - Day 43 - I've changed the light schedule on the timer from 20/4 to 18/6. I will be heading out of town for 10 days on December 25th and so I'll need to harvest and hang to dry by the 24th at the latest. I've read in a few forums that decreasing the lights on/lights off ratio can speed flower maturation on auto-flowers. The other growers also mentioned that the decrease in light also reduces yields, but on such a tight timeline I'd trade total yield for more fully ripened buds any day of the week. Would certainly be interested if anybody has experience/knowledge that contradicts what I've read. Plants stretched another 2 inches in the last 24 hours putting them 22 inches from the light. I still have room to raise my light another 2 inches, but if these girls stretch more than 6 more inches they'll be < 18 inches from the light which I'm assuming would cause light burn based on the research i've done on this 600W ViparSpectra reflector series. Here's hoping they don't stretch more than 6 inches from here. 11/17 Day 45 - Haircut day. Left a few fan leaves on the shorter/lower shoots, but took almost everything else. Tallest tops had stretched another 4 inches in the past 48 hours, and were 18 inches from the light. I raised the light the final 2 inches I had available, which places it back to 20 inches from the tallest bud sites. Hopefully the haircut I gave the plants slows down the stretch, but either way it looks like I'll have to do a lot of retraining before I head out of town tomorrow for 5 days. 11/18 Day 46 - Fed nutes. Cal mag + advanced nutrients (micro, grow, bloom), and MKP. 4 Litres of water per plant. A lot of runoff in the saucers, but I'm out of town for the next 5 days so I'm leaving it to be absorbed throughout the week.

Had a lot going on this week so the plants didnt get any care or maintenance at all other than just checking on the water level a couple times. They need some major defoliation which I wanted to do this week but procrastination is the vibes currently. Will probably get some done next week.... the plants are looking good and most of them are bushing out pretty nice. They dont seem to be stretching as much as they normally do by this time, but they are transitioning to flower. Will probably do a flush and water change soon since they haven't had one in over a month. I'm just anxious to see some frosty buds at this point.

Day 39/40 of the adventure, just trimming and letting them cook...

Day 66/Day 22 of Flower: Finally made it to Week 4 of Flower which means I get to introduce BUD-XL to my nutrient line. Girls were hand fed tonight, saturated with fresh nutes. Tips were already showing signs of nutrient burn going into week 4, so without the former veg nutes, who knows how bad they're about to get. Question: I read defoliating throughout week 3 of flower is around the last time you should trim. I cleaned up the bottom real well, but do you think I trimmed too many fan leaves up top? A lot my bud sites have one fan leaves and the nodes under it have none at all? Throughout this grow, anytime, I've trimmed, it has had zero effect. I think that's because its receiving nutrients twice a day consistently. Regardless, should these leaves up top have stayed on to provide healthier sites or as an extra resource for food when needed? Thanks y'all! Day 69 Update (3/21): First time the grow has A burnt tips across the board. I read this is common during weeks 4-5 of flower, but I also know it can get out of hand real quick. I'll be measuring the runoff over next feeding and determine what the best course of action is. I believe for High Frequency Fertigation in Coco, you have to be careful how you dilute your substrate, and I also think you need to always include some type of Cal Mag in your water, even if just topping off reservoir. Going to be tricky as I enter into Week 5 where I'm supposed to add @House & Garden's Top Booster to my feeding line for a week. However, it's only one week, and after that, H&Gs line goes down considerably ( Pic in Gallery ) Question: Do I keep the nutrient line the same and increase fertigation, or do I dial down the nutrient strength? 3/24/21 Update: That does it for Week 4. Definite signs of nutrient burn with the tips and even some brown coloring leaves. I also don't think the buds are growing as fast as I see others by Week 4 and that's with four weeks of Big Bud and one week of Bud XL. I finally waved the white flag and topped off the reservoir with 2 gallons of fresh water and 2 ml of Cal Mag. Brought my intake down from 2.02 to 1.47 Brought my drainage down from 2.99 to 2.23. Debating on whether to give it one more diluted feed or make a fresh batch for week 5 where I'm supposed to add in Top Booster...Going to be a rough week trying to maintain any significant shock or stress to the plants with the nutrient changes/dilution. This clone is growing good. She is showing mutations in the leaves plus growing like she is still flowering kinda. I think my nutrition is a pinch strong. That probably is not helping much. Gonna ride it out, and see what happens. I've cut down on grow at this point as the soil seems to have a lot. I'll feed for another week then think about Flushing. The kalimist will keep getting fed bloom and grow as its only been flowering for about 3 weeks due to taking longer to force flower.

Co2 block gave a bump in her stocks , it took up the nutrients pretty well . Had a bit of a calcium deficiency but it was taken care of in the previous week , as Humidity levels were 95% outside coz of rains , even though it looks majestic..

It was a fairly busy week for this fine lady. No one likes their lady too bushy, right, 😉 so I have been cleaning up lower growth every 2-3 days as of late. I also put her in a 20 gallon pot this week and that was a bigger challenge then I anticipated 😅😅. First I had to get her untied. Then I didn’t quite get her tied down as well as I had her in the 10 gallon pot but she is still nicely laid out IMO. I may have to adjust how she is tied down in the weeks to come as these genetics can really stretch out!! Stay tuned 😎🍿🍻🌱

Dopo sette giorni da quando ho piantato i semi tutte le piantine sono nei vasi. Fino a stamattina ho avuto qualche piccolo problema di muffa nel substrato. Grazie a voi sto provando a rimediare. Per ora ho eliminato 3 cm di substrato , cosparso di cannella sopra il substrato ed ho attivato i due estrattori, accendedoli mezz'ora ogni due ore spenti, per non far scendere troppo l umidità. Domani dovrebbe arrivarmi un umidificatore con igroststo e quindi accenderó gli estrattori molto più spesso. 8 giorno dalla semina. Mi sono organizzato umidificatore piazzato in grow per tenere un umidità costante al 65 per cento, temperatura con luce costante a 22 gradi e sistema di estrazione 15 minuti in, 15 off più ventilatore attivo nei momenti in cui gli estrattori sono off. Il problema muffa non sembra più esserci. 5 piantine su 6 sembrano godere di ottima salute. Oggi è il 4 giorno dal travaso, voglio sperimentare nel tenere la lampada sia con le luci veg che con le luci blum, controllerò ogni paio di ore il comportamento delle piante. Se le vedrò abbassare la testa ritornerò subito alla sola luce veg. 6 giorno le piantine sembrano godere di ottima salute. Oggi ho dato per la prima volta 1ml di stimolante per radici diluendolo in un litro di acqua e quindi circa 200 ml di liquido a testa
