Week 5 for the Green Papayas from super sativa seeds club. Some of the lower leaves are letting us know that the mother plant need a lot more food. we added additional PK booster to her. The clones seems to go a lot better, these buds are bigger also, but happy in general. I still need to get used to all this organic nutrients. Lots of things to learn and a long way to go, always happy to learn new methods of growing! For the rest, as always just water!

Hi growmes I'm happy with our my good plant is coming along I thought my little Mars hydro sp150 light was not powerful enough for a 2x2 tent in flower but when reading the master growers diaries with the same plagron nutrients and Zamnesia biscotti seeds there girls was not joining up into huge Cola's so I'm guessing it was genetics but I'm still very happy with all that I have learnt for my first grow. Was reading this week's growweedeasy newsletter and there was a photo of a members first grow hanging up drying and growweedeasy were saying this could be you if you pay for our master class and I know your harvest will get smaller when they are drying but they were all little and airy not even one big main cola if anyone gets a chance take a look it's a joke considering this is the picture there using to advertise signing up and paying for their master class. Also my diaries are out by about two weeks but can't be bothered to change it not very computer savvy but I still think this app is hard to use but should get better the more I use it 😂

I've been giving these plants some extra car the last week, adjusting the net, branches, opening up areas for light to seep through the canopy. They started taking water more frequently (about .25-.3 per day) so I've been giving them about a 1/2 gallon every 48 hour span. The bud sites are starting to fill in really nice, the garlic is definitely my early pick for heaviest yield in the tent with almost 3 times the amount of bud sites as the other plants. The dark passenger really started stretching this week, having to be re weaved into the net twice in 72 hours! The blood diamond is still slowly catching up to the rest so I move it away from the other 1 extra square, hopefully it will have enough room without having to take out any branches on the other plants. The smell is weak but very noticeable, have a light skunky/pine smell starting to develop in the tent. I'll be starting to add growganica incredible bulk in small doses this upcoming week.

Easy grow, good

My Purple Kush plant is still the smallest in the tent, but hopefully it'll produce some good buds by the end. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

Warmed up this week 23,22 degrees dried soil out so required feeding, She grew taller this week also

Noticed some more pink/purple stems on the plants and decided to increase the phosphorus content in the feed by mixing in half grow and half bloom from the nutrient lineup. I'd use the PK booster I have but its to high in K for my liking. The entire lineup is very high in K. mixing grow and bloom gives a NPK ratio of 7-7-14 then done 1:1 equal parts. Grow=8-4-15 Bloom=6-10-14 Boost=1-15-30 Run off was a bit high for my liking but only seeing minimal signs of nutrient burn. Still watering once with feed and runoff and then later in the week with water and no/little runoff for my watering cycle.The number in the nutrient section are wrong but the EC and ratio are correct. Also impressed the roots have started popping out the bottom of the container already after only being transplanted for a week. Good root growth on these ones. Lights doing well. The V1 spectrum is good on the medic grow mini sun-2's 240w. No issues so far, dimmed at 80% . All in all I am quite happy with how things turned out. I got to use the short days to grow a photoperiod. This was not planed though, since it was packaged as a Skunk Auto. I think its Lemon Orange. Saw it grow before and it really looks the same. Smell is also in the neighbourhood After drying I saw that almost everything was modly. Had to throw almost the whole plant away. Runtime: 141 days ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Set up cost (fixed costs) -Lamp: 40€ -Timer: 3,5€ -Pot: 4€ -Total fixed costs: 47,5€ Given 5 years (or 15 grows) usage time translates to around 3,17€ per grow in materials. Start of week 7 and her time cas come to show us what she’s got! I’m excited for the next 7 weeks ahead. 4 days into flower I experienced a hellish bit of droop. She didn’t look well although healthy, she was under the weather literally! 24 hours later I realised she needed a flush of Ph’d water 1L to be precise after raising her pot from her tray a little higher and removing the excess water run off. I never achieved this amount of run off before normally very little so I guess she needed it as she perked up within a hour. Will closely monitor and repeat 5 words in my head - DO NOT FEED EVERY DAY Update - recovered and back to herself. What a way to start a week of flower. Lesson learnt. New week tomorrow
