week one ( day 1-7) went great , i germinated both seed in paper towels and transferred them to big pots . 1 (30 liter pot) !(25 liter pot). after that i got them outside in the sun as much as i could (it was pretty grey and bad weather) while keeping the soil damp with a spraybottle and keeping a sliced bottle over the top to increase humidity. just had to wait for my tent and lights to arive the first week.

Made itnto the main part everyone wants to get to... chop day. Wish i had a scale to get a wet weight but for the next harvest of the closet ill have a scale big enough.. loves growing these strains pretty deficiency resistant. Gave them 48hr dark period to see if i can notice a difference. Any questions feel free to ask.

On the final few days of a 10 day flush. Will be chopping down this week to harvest and hang dry. Really excited to try this one. The smells in the room are unreal.

Hello, Using low stress clips but ran out. Tied down in a few spots. Missed defoliation on day 1 but got it day 4. Will get again on day 21. Was having overheat issues. Added a simple ground fan ducted in through a box. Have a dog and don’t want hairs getting in. Also added a 2nd exhaust with a 2nd carb filter. Solved overheating and humidity rise issues. Overall happy I feel on my first grow!

Well I decided I had to pull the plug on this girl with all the weird weather we've been having. I've been pulling yellowing fan leaves off her for a couple weeks now and with our 2nd heat wave and all the smoke & ash thrown in for bad measure... it's been truly weird. Yesterday was a day for the record books around here - it was so dark I could tell my pets were spooked. Even they knew it wasn't supposed to be this dark in daytime. Probably how animals react to things like a solar eclipse. If they haven't got somebody nearby to reassure them of some sense of normal - the alarm bells start going off. I hadn't really gotten the impression this girl was all that fragrant during the flowering process UNTIL I was washing all that ash off her this morning - then I was like - WOW this stiff is pretty intense in the nose. One thing I'm pretty sure of is that the sun ain't coming out for a couple more days the ways the smoke be flowing around here. We'll see. Two more plants on the patio but they aren't far behind. September 13 >> Debudded the Widow late this afternoon to make space in my shed to harvest Jack Herer in the morning. She was still a little moist as I harvested her 3 days ago - but it hasn't been that hot. The smoke is still hiding the sun and the atmosphere is labeled "unhealthy". Hung her up in my front bedroom to finish the drying process. I should note the passing of reggae giant (many say inventor) Toots Hibbert, of Toots and the Maytals last Friday. I went looking for some pics of the last show I saw him at and coincidentally it turned out to be one year ago today, September 13, 2019 at the Independant in San Francisco. I was lucky to have seem him a few times. So I uploaded about 30 seconds worth of Pressure Drop from that show. RIP Buddy. 😪 ====================================================== September 21 >> Finished hand trimming the Widow yesterday while mostly listening to the last round of the US Open. In September... while they're playing Stanley Cup playoffs too. Very weird time.... both these things normally happen in June every year. The buds weighed in at basically 8 ounces (227 grams). The trim came in at 325 grams - and in this case I use the Trimbag - although I don't think she was really dry enough to get proper function outa the bag. I still spent over 6 hours hand trimming the remainder AFTER the Trimbag in this case. It wasn't really a problem because I had like 10 hours of US Open coverage for 4 days to burn thru. In the process of turning all that trim into hash at the moment... because I'm all configured to go at the moment after making Wonder Pie hash last week. I'll stick it in the garage to dry for a few days and add the weights later. One thing I've noticed that's probably pandemic-related is 90% isopropyl alcohol has become very hard to find (haven't had to look for like 6 months because I had a couple bottles that lasted). I've used it to clean my glass bong/dab rigs for years. 70% is there - but even that now it's like you have to ask for it. Week 3. oh my days, the smell is incomprehensible, truly exceptional sweet and super tangy, I have never smelled anything so tangy

Week 6 of flower and once again, some excellent bulking going on here, I was happy with it.

Picture 1 - Day 15 - Seedling 1 is 17cm now and I just started to do some LST. Picture 2 - Day 15 - Seedling 2.1 is about 7 days now and still growing good. Picture 3 & 4 - Day 16 - Seedling 1 LST Picture 5 - Day 16 - Seedling 2.1 first dose of nutrients, 1ml/L Picture 6 - Day 17 - Seedling 1 seems to have a calcium deficiency so Ill be purchasing some CalMag soon, I hope its not a rust fungi! 😅🙏 Picture 7 - Day 17 - Seedling 2.1 looking healthy and growing very fast. Picture 8 - Day 18 - Seedling 1 reacting very well to the LST, the calcium/magnesium deficiency seems to have stopped spreading. Bottom leaves still look kinda f'd up but I think it will stay like that forever now, new leaves look perfect tho. Picture 9 - Day 18 - Seedling 2.1 looking good. Picture 10 - Day 20 - Seedling 1 getting really big suddenly, I think flowering is right around the corner, so I will put away the humidifier now (its getting kinda nasty anyway lol). LST going really well. Picture 11 - Day 20 - Started LST on Seedling 2.1 seems to work well. Picture 12 - Day 21 - New Setup, 80x80x180cm. 100mm Carbon Filter. Picture 13 - Day 21 - Seedling 1 still going strong, LST is getting kinda stressful since they grow so fast. Picture 14 - Day 21 - Seedling 2.1, everything looking good! 😁

Day 36 Stretching has slowed but not stopped. 28-29” today. Feeding 3L per plant now. The orange haze seems to be flawless, the other 2 needing a little extra calmag and N, but early flower can be expected. Humidity holding at around 50-55% little higher than I want but plenty of air blowing inside and strong extraction, so no problem. Would like to see the bud sites fill out over the next few weeks, before swelling. White pistils everywhere very exciting to see these blossom. Lovely mild fruity smell already from the tent. Day 38. Heavy feed on day 37 including big bud added to the nutrients, nute burn on one off the plants which I think I’m gonna flush soon, and maybe a slight N deficiency and calmag still on the other 2. Stretching looks to have stopped, Bud sites filling out nicely now Day 41 Left the pots 24 hours too long and the extra thirsty girls caught me out with the soil being drier than the desert and leafs soft and droopy as a result. With a slow heavy feed following this, they are back to their healthy self’s overnight. Lesson learnt - check daily. Drinking 3L every 1.5-2 days now.

Allot of the same this week, fed allot as the plant seemed very thirsty. Growth increase, brown pistols, and tric start of cloudy. The smell is lovely, very fruity and extremely strong. As a long time smoker knowing the smell I wonder what a untrained nose would smell and what they think it would be. Harvest day 73, if I can give her longer I will, as you can see in pics I did not really defoliate at all perhaps 10% as per advice and I kept her low, tied her down to early I believe, will allow for more stretch next time. Live and learn. I just have purchased some advanced nutrients flawless finish so hoping for some smoke easy on the old lungs. Salutations
