This is my 1st grow and im just going with the flow

Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

I transplanted everything over the past 3 or 4 days and am just giving them some time to break in their new shoes before I flip them. I got a new bottle of calmag I think the one I was using was old it's been on the shelf for a while. The heat is still a little lower than I would like and now with the bigger pots humidity has gone way up.

Just trying to get back to normal life after the Thomas fire. I believe I have two phenotypes of some gorilla glue lineage as the seed came from a very tasty dispensary quarter. Even though the little ugly plants look grotesque, they are loaded with bud sites. I have photos and videos and notes of the past few weeks so I will try to back annotate. Gradually ramped light down from 18 hours to 12 after power outages due to the fire, and it was about good time to flip anyway. It is so much easier to control temperature during the winter in my space. The lights keep the space at a pretty steady 74 F. I haven’t pushed PPM and am keeping Ph in the 6-6.8 range. I’m using peony rings as support and to spread a little but I am not training for a perfectly flat canopy as I had excellent popcorn nugs in my last grow even with the lights over 2x further than optimal. Defoliated the lower branches but I am not defoliating aggressively, but will continue to remove any withering leaves. Sorry for the slow updates. The fire has been pretty traumatic for my city and myself, and I’m just getting back to normal life. My home, family and pets are safe, and the fire is mostly contained. Everything is the same, since moving everything to one tent, the NL auto started flowering a bit more. The Vanilla Frosting started stretching, and the White Widow is finally pre-flowering a little. The VF gets dry every day, and weather has been wild again but I have managed to keep everything healthy. The addition of OG Biowar has really seemed to put the critters out of work (https://ogbiowar.com/). Granted I have also used Boogie Brew Black, and it takes me friggin 20-30 mins to get everything mixed and ready, but the plants are not complaining. I make a compost tea in a five gallon bucket and bubble for about 24 hours with a serious air pump and huge air stones, then I add all my nutes to it. I would say this is a 95% organic grow. Check out the video and check out the meds I made from the leaves of these plants. Packed a mason jar with clean leaves and poured in regular isopropyl alcohol - a few days later and its so green you cant see through it. I learned about this from a friend from South of the border. It seems to work well on muscle aches. -shrug- at least for me. FIVE MORE WEEKS For those who wonder how much light/heat I am putting down, its like 1807.8 umol/s at dead center over the Cree light, the Spider Farmer puts down way less, but the two lights together are working well and fuck it, its 82 degrees in the tent during the day and they are all pretty happy. So it is what it is. If it gets super hot I keep the CREE part of the Phlizon on, and turn of the LEDs, the SF1000 has plenty of light to help.

Day 22 25/07/24 Thursday Still no Feed/water since Tuesday. Been a humid and overcast two days so not as much evaporation as normal. All plants happy and healthy 💚 Video updates Day 23 26/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated watering pH 6 with 5ml calmag to 5L water. Watered each with 250ml and had small run off. I will continue to feed/water with small run offs to help prevent salt build ups. Video update. Day 26 29/07/24 Monday Nice feed today, using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. They each had 300ml with small run off. All looks incredibly happy and healthy! The Auto Kabul that was mutated and twisted has pulled herself through and is just a bit shorter than the others. Day 28 31/07/24 Wednesday End of week😁 De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚
