week 12: I harvested plant #1.

She survived a couple of very warm days 🔥(32°C). She also started to get burned tips on the bigger fan leaves and the lower leaves started to die so I used some more nutes. Seems to be solved now. Watered with 2l(nutes), 1,5l(no nutes) and 2l(nutes). She is starting to smell very loud 🤤, because flowering has started. Hoping she stretches a bit more tho🙏

I’ve been flushing the plants for a week now. The colas have definitely gotten fatter from last week. It’s looking like I’ll be harvesting in 1 more week. Pretty much all the trichomes are milky and I’m starting to get amber ones.

Es ist soweit! Am Freitag habe ich die fünf Easy Buds nach knapp 11 1/2 Wochen abgeschnitten und geerntet. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass eine Pflanze ziemlich stark befallen war. Ich vermute eine Milbenart oder möglicherweise Fliegeneier. Unterhalb der Blätter waren etliche dunkelgelbe und dunkelbraune Eier, die man auf den ersten Blick kaum erkennen konnte. Bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht man jedoch, dass sich der Befall auf die ganze Pflanze ausgeweitet hatte. Glücklicherweise blieben die vier anderen Pflanzen verschont. Aus diesem Grund trockne ich die Pflanzen auch getrennt voneinander. Die befallene Pflanze wollte ich nicht direkt wegwerfen, sondern erstmal trocknen lassen. Im Nachhinein werde ich schauen, wie ich mögliche Schadensbegrenzung betreiben kann. Die vier gesunden Pflanzen werden in einem geschlossenen Zelt in einem Trocknungsbeutel getrocknet. Die befallene Pflanze habe ich in dem Folienzelt aufgehängt und mit einer Plane abgedeckt. Nach wenigen Tagen der Trocknung sieht soweit eigentlich alles gut aus. Die Eier scheinen nicht mehr zu schlüpfen, sondern fallen von der Blüte ab oder verschrumpeln zu Kompost. Ich hoffe, dass es dabei bleibt. Der Geruch hat sich nach dem Abschneiden deutlich verändert. Schon nach der kurzen Trocknungszeit kann ich einen intensiveren Geruch feststellen, der sich noch nicht so richtig beschreiben lässt. Die Blüten waren stark mit den sogenannten "Sugar Leaves" verwachsen, weshalb ich sie grob getrimmt habe, um sie zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Nachdem die Blüten vollständig getrocknet sind, werde ich die Buds noch einmal einzeln trimmen und durch meine Trimm-Maschine von Vevor jagen. Der Ernteprozess hat zu zweit circa eine Stunde gedauert. Die Pflanzen waren zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte noch sehr gesund und kräftig. Die Verwurzelung war trotz des geschlossenen Topfes sehr gut. Die schönste Bud hat definitiv die zentrale Pflanze, Greta, ergeben. Nass hätte ich den Bud auf mindestens 12 g geschätzt. Ein Gesamtgewicht des nassen Pflanzenmaterials habe ich nicht ermittelt. Sobald alles trocken und fertig beschnitten ist, werde ich das Tagebuch um den trockenen Betrag ergänzen. Stand jetzt würde ich schätzen, dass der Ertrag aller Pflanzen bei circa 40-50 g liegt, was mich für meinen ersten Grow ziemlich zufrieden stellt, besonders in Anbetracht dieser wirklich sehr simplen Strain. This grow is going to be testing my coco based auto watering setup. The plants will eventually be going into 2.5 gallon airpots which I cut to be very tall and narrow which I hope will give great performance for this grow style. Nutrient solution will be pumped from a 5 gallon bucket to halo-style drip emitters 4 times a day for 5-10 second intervals. I am going to try to use inline flow control knobs to dial in the watering and allow for slight runoff every fertigation. For lighting I am using my HLG 100 watt lights, one per plant. I am a big fan of these quantum boards, they have given great performance I. The past! Thanks for reading! 🌱👍 May 13 day 1: the Blackberry breached after germinating in a rapid rooter for 2 days. I am impressed with how quickly this seed popped! It had a stuck seed that was gently removed, and will be falling off the rest of the way shortly. May 16 day 3: Seedlings planted with their rapid rooters into coco filled seedling bags, and given first nutrients. They are remaining under humidity dome. I have also started running the drip emitters to test them and dial in the amount of runoff. It is also continuing to buffer the coco so the medium will be well prepared for my seedlings when the time comes. Day 4: the seedlings are doing well so far, so I will keep them domed for a few more inches of growth. Then I will switch to a humidifier to maintain acceptable RH.

Chugging on through flowering. 10cm vertical growth this week. Stretch slowing down now.

- DAY 71 (13/08) I have defoliated most of the burnt leaves. In the evening I sprayed the mix of neem oil (neem oil, water, potassium soap and citric acid). So, I am continuing with the washing of the roots. The plant visibly needs nitrogen, for the next irrigation I will go back to feeding. This time hoping to be able to feed without problems and that the burns on the leaves will not return. The girl is growing out of all proportion. Within the next 2 weeks the hormones that will send her into bloom should be triggered. Everything that I will do relevant in the days of this week I will update it here in Week Comment. I am open to advice, I would be happy if you comment with what you would do in my place. - DAY 75 (17/08) FEEDING So, from now on I will feed with half tap water and half distilled. I removed the lemon juice by replacing it with BioBizz PH Down. The starting water should be less loaded with calcium and potassium now. I irrigated 3 liter of water with: - 1.2 ml Micro - 0.6 ml Grow - 0.6 ml Bloom - DAY 76 (18/08) I sprayed the mix of neem oil (neem oil, water, potassium soap and citric acid). Day/night air temperature on average for this week: Day 28-36 °C. Night 18-24 °C.

Grow Report Woche 4: Technik, Topping & Tapferkeit Hallo zusammen 🌱👷‍♂️ Diese Woche hatte es in sich: technische Erweiterungen, kleine Rückschläge – und trotzdem geht’s weiter voran. Die Black Cherries vom Super Sativa Seed Club zeigen sich robust und widerstandsfähig, genau wie mein Optimismus! Blumat-Erweiterung 💧 Ich habe mein Bewässerungssystem aufgestockt und sechs zusätzliche kleine Blumat-Tropfer installiert, um auch die Oberfläche im Beet gleichmäßig feucht zu halten. - Vier Tropfer wurden direkt in die bestehenden Tropfringe integriert – so erhalten die Pflanzen Wasser von beiden Seiten. - Die restlichen Tropfer ergänzen das Setup rund um die Hauptwurzelbereiche. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich dieses doppelte Tropfsystem auswirkt – bislang sieht alles stabil aus. Astbruch – schnell reagiert
