Que pasa familia, vamos con la cosecha de estas Tropicanna Poison F1 de Sweetseeds. Esta variedad me resultó bastante sencilla de cultivar, y si no la maltratas crece sana a mi parecer, la flor se ve increíble, tiene una cantidad de resina considerable y unos tonos rojos muy peculiares, se ven muy apetecibles. El olor que desprende es muy peculiar es muy dulce con toques terrosos, a mi parecer, no pinta nada mal, las flores están prietas. También os comento que la variedad es muy fácil de cultivar y no da mayores problemas, el ciclo no es largo, cuiden con la altura ya que se desmadran un poco. IMPORTANTE destacar: En las fotos comprobaréis que ya no hay botes de cristal con sobres de bóveda, ahora hay Grovebags. Que son una especie de sobres o bolsas que retienen el peso, previene la aparición de moho y mantiene intacto el terpeno, para que el curado sea más óptimo. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Everything is going good this week. thickening up on the tops and getting nice and frosty , it's smell is getting really strong and it's super sticky, hopefully they'll fill out more as their quite short but the buds look nice and dense . Might do one more week of nutrients and then a 2 week flush but I'll check the tricomes at the end of the week and see . Happy smoking

Por fin he conocido a las plantas de exterior, son raras, me han dicho que son de la familia de los cactus, me parecen poco sociables, tienen pinchos y me da miedo acercarme... 19/01/21 Hace dos días que hace sol y disfruto cada tarde al exterior. Mi jefe está contento por las numerosas raíces verticales que asoman por mi base, dice que así mis raíces no se enrollan en la maceta y podré respirar mejor!! 😍 Cada día tengo más sed... me gusta estar hidratada 😅 20/01/21 Hoy ha sido un día muy especial, con muchos cambios... I loved!! 😘 Hoy esperaba mi nueva maceta, en realidad la esperaba ayer, pero mi jefe no pudo y me prometió que hoy sería el día... casi no he dormido de emoción!! 😳 es mi puesta de largo... soy una adolescente!! mi jefe me lo ha dicho!!... I Loved!! 😍 He visto todo el proceso y los componentes de mi nuevo sustrato, estoy aprendiendo mucho, mi jefe me lo explica muy bien... dos tierras ligeras a base de turbas, un poco de bocashi casero para aportar nutrientes y microorganismos, humus de lombriz para dar estructura al suelo y fomentar la humificación y microbiología, fibra de coco activada con microorganismos para retener humedad, airear el sustrato e inocular MM, un buen puñado de perlita, vermiculita, arena de río y zeolita para facilitar el drenaje y oxigenar el sustrato... Ah!! y los minerales!! estos me han gustado, definitivamente aportan lo que le faltaba al sustrato, mayormente de composición vegetal... basalto, roca fosfórica, arcillas caolin, illita y montmorillonita para darme sílice y favorecer el intercambio catiónico de nutrientes, azomite rico en magnesio, aluminio y muchos otros minerales, un poco de dolomita para equilibrar el PH y aportar Cálcio, leonardita para dar estructura al suelo, retener humedad y aportar materia orgánica humificada, Piedra pomez y ceniza para completar el aporte de minerales... ...y como punto final, los encargados de procesar estos minerales y componentes del sustrato, para que yo los pueda asimilar son los Microorganismos, mi jefe ha añadido carbón vegetal activado con MM, excelente para retener humedad y nutrientes y Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos... Guau!! he estado ansiosa todo el tiempo, deseando entrar en mi nuevo sustrato!! 😻 Ya estoy dentro!! en mi nueva maceta, con mi nuevo sustrato... I loved!! 😍 Siento unas cosquillas muy grandes en mis raíces, me han espolvoreado alrededor de ellas, auxinas caseras para promover el crecimiento de mis raíces y esporas de micorrizas para que las protejan contra hongos patógenos. El primer riego en esta maceta me ha encantado, estaba caliente y era dulce... mi jefe me ha dicho que se compone de agua de montaña con un poco de melaza a 22°C, con esta solución está activando los microorganismos del sustrato, la melaza los dará mucha energía para que se propaguen y empiecen a trabajar, ellos la necesitan porque son diabéticos y no almacenan azúcar, cuando yo sea mas grande yo también les enviaré el azúcar para que trabajen con ganas!! Y lo que realmente me ha vuelto loca es el Mulch!!.. I loved, loved, loved!! 😍 es el mejor material que almacenaba mi jefe, pequeñas hojas y tallos secos, sobrantes de las limpiezas de cogollos, mucha materia orgánica que mantendrá la humedad en la parte superior de la maceta, será la comida de los microorganismos y creará un ecosistema ideal para la microbiología!! Y a la hora de dormir... sorpresa!!...no puedo con tantas emociones!! 😅 ... nueva carpa más grande, limpia, desinfectada y con luces a estrenar, la comparto con otras tres plantas, bellas y mucho más grandes que yo... quiero ser como ellas cuando sea mayor!! 😃... bueno, yo soy la pequeña pero tengo la maceta más grande jejej!! 😋 Antes de ponerme en mi carpa, me han lavado las hojas con jabón potásico, me han quedado muy suaves y el jabón me protegerá de una plaga de arañas que está cerca 😨... estoy con miedo!! 💀 La semana que viene voy a poner toda mi energía en propagar mis raíces y crear más hojas... voy a dejar feliz a mi jefe. 1/17 - Day 62 / Day 35 Flower Pots felt dry so decided to give them about a half gallon of spring water each. This wasn't enough to induce runoff. Will save that for a bigger watering later this week. Nutrient issues continue to persist. **************************************************** 1/19 - Day 64/ Day 37 Flower - Feeding day Pots were feeling dry again. After about a week of laying off the nutrients following the flush, I gave them a feeding today with their watering. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have waited this long to re-introduce nutrients as some of the lag in recovery is probably due to the fact that I flushed all of the food. The feeding solution consisted of the following: - 1 gallon distilled water - 5ml of FF Tiger Bloom (1/2 dose) - 10ml of FF Big Bloom (2/3 dose) Adjusted the solution to the following conditions before feeding: - pH: 6.5 - TDS: 303ppm - EC: .6 I gave each of the 5 gallon pots about a half gallon each of the solution, followed by enough spring water to induce runoff (approximately another half gallon). I tested the runoff for both of my 5 gallons and returned the following readings; Z51: - pH: 6.4 - TDS: 649ppm - EC: 1.3 Z52: - pH: 6.2 - TDS: 669ppm - EC: 1.3 I was encouraged that both plants are close to being within my ideal range and hopefully this means that they will start to show signs of recovery in the next week. **************************************************** 1/21 - Day 66 / Day 39 Flower I'm growing in an attic space and we've had a drop in temperature over the last couple days, my heating system was working overtime and more heat was rising into the space. I woke up today and the temp in my grow tent was registering in at 87F. I decided to play around with my temperature threshold on my fan controller, reducing the max heat threshold to 80 from 85. What I didn't account for was that I had a low humidity threshold of 30% (which I assumed meant that that fan would stop running if it hit this point). It turns out that my fan actually kicks ON when it hits that threshold... As a result. my fan was short cycling through the night where it would turn on when the heat exceeded 80 (causing humidity to decrease) then turn on again when it hit my low humidity threshold - creating wide swings in my temp and humidity. I'll tell you what, if I don't produce any viable bud this grow, I can honestly say I made up for the loss based on the education I've received. The nutrient deficiency issues are still present but don't appear to be getting worse. The leaves on my Z51 are pretty pale, it's clear they are starving for nitrogen but I am reluctant to try and address issue at this point. I'm planning 2 more light feedings over the next two weeks so hopefully this will be enough to get them to harvest. **************************************************** Day 1/22 - Day 67/Day 40 Flower My girls are really starting to frost up and the colas feel noticeable more dense by the day. I would have thought that the smell would have been stronger by now. Not sure if this is a consequence of my carbon filter doing such a good job or whether the buds are having developmental issues. When I get up close and smell the buds, I get a faint aroma but not the strong sweet and gassy smells that I've read about on other journals. I watered the 5 gallons today with a gallon of spring water each. My soil is not as airy as it once was and has started to cake up around the roots. I do my best to try and loosen up the dirt, usually to no avail. I was short for time so I didn't have a chance to test the runoff.

Week 6 Flower This week the girls' feed has been decreased considerably as they no longer need a high feeding. Everything apart from FloraBloom has been stopped in order to give her a proper flush (apart from microbes and sugars). With the Pineapple Kush I fed a little bit of floramicro too, but it's high in N so it took a little longer to flush. I want my plants to be as faded as possible within 2 weeks. If I feel it's necessary I'll take them further to get a better flush. Both Twins are looking fantastic. It's hard to believe that these two were not only twins, but were both mutants with not much hope of survival on their own. Twin1 was a mutant that couldn't grow its second node, and Twin2 was the smallest of the two twin seedlings meaning she had almost 0 chance of surviving without being carefully seperated (she also had minor mutant growth). Many people say the weaker one will be dominated so they don't bother to seperate them. But if you ask me, I couldn't tell you at this point which plant would be classed as the "weaker plant". I have no regrets in doing so and think I have two very worthy keeper pheno's of this strain. Next week we start flush! 💦 Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Video from Day 53 I edited and uploaded. I spent a lot of time in the garden yesterday. My veg tent needed a TON of trim work and had to get the girls watered. Picked up some Mammoth P and decided to try it out. The label states you can run through flush and read reports of growers who run through flush. Just microbes, and I have stopped all other microbes and just flushing with sledgehammer. I will be back in the garden today and update this week with some more photos! Stay tuned and happy growing! Day 54: I planned to get more photos, but got really tied up with trimming some larf I hadn't noticed in the center of a few plants. I think I was a little to conservative with lollipopping in some areas and left too many lower sites in the middle of the plants. This is the first time I have trained plants in this manner. I had also planned on harvesting the Triple Cheese, but I checked trichomes again and decided to give at least a few more days. That being said, I just took some pre-harvest photos of the Triple Cheese. As I prep each for harvest, I will get some good photos of each plant with the black backdrop. last week putting Ph down aside (this acid is poison haha) and watering with slightly higher Ph 6.7-7.0. Runoff shows 6.6 and it seems that the leaf issues are stabilised or at least I want to believe that 😎🌼 Buds are still nicely stacking but still 4-5 weeks to go - wish her a luck! 🍀 ladybug guest feels the same! 🐞

11/16/23 - Day 10 - Here we are on day 10 and she had a root hit the water over night. About 8 hrs later she had two roots in the water and her leaves are starting to perk up. From here on out I expect a rocket ship. Shes getting access to all the nutes now. 11/18/23 - Day 12 - The roots are going about as I expected in this Leaf Box. Shes always sad until her roots hit the water, then the fuse has been lit! There is no going back. When I looked at the water today there was one root that was floating about 7 - 8 in long that surprised me. Yesterday it was long maybe 4" but today it's at least doubled. 😀 Its so much fun growing in this Leaf Box. You really get to experience the joy in it, rather than the stress of trying to figure out some technical issue. Here the techical issues are close to none. I really get to focus on the training part. It also allows me to be more observant and I get more time to think about the little changes that I see. Usually my mind is so clouded with some engineering issue with her life support that I dont usually get the time to really focus on the plant. Its a whole different feel growing in the Leaf box. I posted a video up top. If you watch it you'll understand my above statement. Choosing the option to move to the next phase in the software is about as hard as it will ever get (aside from harvest, thats ALWAYS a bitch) Watch the video and if your feeling some kind of way let me know what you think.
