The plant took off this week. I am relatively new so was working through getting my PH measuring/balancing down. Now that I have established a better method the plant responded well. Put in a scrog to help even the canopy for the future. The other plant I have running is a bubblegum autoflower that is a few weeks older (right). Personally I really loved the look of the gold leaf at this point, it had a very nice spiral look to it almost like an xmas wreath.

Buds are hard as stone. I have never encountered such bads! They are very compact, and have a respectable density of trichomes. Not the best but sufficient. When one plant produces such an insane amount of good flowers, it's hard not to be satisfied. In the meantime everything looks great Except for the mold I found in some of the flowers. I took off about two large branches that were infected with mold. , I cleaned all the mold I could find and lost about 50 grams of pressed flowers that went to waste because of the mold. The final weight of 400 grams is after I threw the flowers with the mold of course. 400 grams of great flowers, I'm just blown away!! Highly recommend trying and growing this strain.

This week gorilla cookies finally got the chop! She was a very fun plant to grow and she produced dense,sticky buds that have some very pretty colors to her. If you wanna impress your friends with a plant,she’s one to do it with🔥

She is starting to look like one of those sativa I will never forget… she will be flushed in the coming Weeks

Buds so heavy the branches are flopping all over. I guess that’s one of them good problems. Hopefully the zip ties and walls keep them standing til harvest.

Looking good. One plant is ready to harvest, but I'm going to push it another week anyways, maybe go for around 30-40% amber trichomes, as I prefer the heavier effects.

It's been 38 days of flower now and The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. They are starting to get some frost now. Quite a bit of frost too. A bud fell off because I bent it accidentally, so I just chopped it off because it was hanging and snapped. There's a picture of it below. Should be good weed with how much crystals it has and it's only 5 weeks of flower👍I Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. It really got my last grow extremely frosty and is doing the same so far for this grow. I'm very happy with every product I have gotten from mars hydro 👍👍There's not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. Lingered on my fingers for atleast 30 min. I'm glad mars hydro is under priced compared to some brands and for how popular they are. usually companies would charge more. Dehumidifier is going almost non stop to try and get the humidity down. I love how both lights on 100% power only raise my temperature 2 or 3 degrees 👍. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. Sep 24: starting new diary to accommodate 30 week limit on Growdiaries. Buds are nearly ready but weather is good so will keep her going a bit longer. Nothing harvested from this plant yet but the clones are mostly harvested and produced great dense buds. Fantastic plant. Sep 28: took 995 g wet in first round which might be half of the plant, but I think I’ll end up over 2 kg wet which means 454 g dry is possible. Come on, I still haven’t had a one pound plant. Either way, this is the best growing strain I’ve ever tried, the buds are great and trimming is a total breeze. 👍👍

Week 8 flower

******** Week 9 - Feb 3 to 9/20 (Days 57 - 63 from seed popping out) She has continued to swell this week and stacking her buds. The hairs are turning this week. Kind of a boring week in a way because she has been such an awesome girl to grow!! Have not spent anytime looking at Trich colour this week.....too early anyway. What I have reflected on is that this girl has been very impressive to grow even though I have thrown curve balls at her. A little more attention to the LST ensuring a more even canopy and lighten the feedings, this girl can impress!😍 I wouldn’t get let her go in a tent as she will likely be kissing the light at some point😃 XL strain anyways.💪 On bigger branches I would clip off another node lower than I did to give a little more energy to fill in the tops. Not sure this girls top colas will fill in as much as one would like but........take your time girl😀 Much debate this week over how long she will run in order to determine her last feed.🤪 She had her last feed three times😃 but it was finally Saturday Feb 8, Day 62 as the last day of feed. Plan it to just flush with water and Rezin & Liquid Weight to the end.....or early 70’s anyway. Changed the light schedule again this week. Moved her to 19.5 hours of light because she is still not falling to sleep at lights out. Given she has been very green and tips were burnt a fair bit, will likely use Flawless Finish to flush the medium. Little more detail: Feb 3/20 - Day 57 - Water feed today. Runoff in tray was 6.3pH from yesterday. - 3L plain water. 30ppm and 5.8pH going in. - One minute she looks to be swelling and then others you think she is stalling.....”watched pot” idea. Feb 4/20 - Day 58 - Full feed today. Pot still had some weight. - 3L off full feed with 1125ppm and 6.05pH - Runoff water in tray before feed: 1900ppm and 6.5pH - Runoff water in tray after feed: 1800ppm and 6.3pH - Heavy leaf strip today. She is sticky :) Feb 5/20 - Day 59 - nothing today. - noticing more red hairs today....starting to finish more.....lower is still nice and white.....harvest in stages???? - Light cycle changed to 19.5hrs on and 4.5hrs off. Feb 6/20 - Day 60 - Verify medium today....close to flush - 3L feed of Sensyzime and Rezin @ 2ml/L and Liquid Weight @ 1.5ml/L. = 100ppm and 5.8pH - Runoff was 1450ppm and 6.4pH. - Followed the feed with 2L of 5.2pH water with Sensyzime & Liquid Weight.....bring down pH. - runoff after that was 1100ppm and 6.3pH.....better :) Feb 7/20 - Day 61 - Nothing today, still heavy. Feb 8/20 - Day 62 - ********Last Feed******** - Giving a bit of a flush with Sensyzime, Rezin, and Liquid weight @ 2ml. - 6L feed with 100ppm and 5.25pH going in. - Runoff - 350ppm and 6.3pH. - Evening giver her last full strength feed as listed for the week. - Going in was 5.2pH as she was not coming down much with high 5pH feeds. - Medium got a good soak and good runoff amount - That will be it. Hope she goes 10 to 14 more days.... Feb 9/20 - Day 63 - Dry out day - raised the light a bit.....will use lower pH water in flush......not much else other than let her dry out at this stage....... - her top colas are pushing out more new growth. - the tops are getting wider and forming a point more.
