The Sour Stomper from Mephisto Genetics on day 69, and I must say it has quickly become one of my favorite strains to grow. 🌱💚 It's not only super fast ⚡ in its growth, but also incredibly easy 🙌 to cultivate. What makes this strain truly exceptional are the unique phenotypes it produces in terms of colors and aromas. 🎨👃 One of them emits a strong scent reminiscent of fresh meat 🍖👃, while another phenotype displays a captivating orange color 🧡 with an indescribable aroma. 🍊👃 I apologize for not being able to share any photos this time. Harvesting all 20 plants took me the entire day, and by the time I finished, I was completely exhausted. 😅 It was quite a task trimming them all, but I managed to get it done. Afterward, I collapsed into bed and peacefully rested. 💤💤 Overall, I would rate this strain a solid 9.5 out of 10. 🌟 I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing the final harvest weight. 🌾🤞 Exciting times ahead! 🌿✨

21.09.Update – Day 54 • We’re now deep into flowering, and unfortunately the thrips problem has not improved. • On the contrary, the population has completely taken over and has had a strong negative influence on this run. ⸻ Pest Situation • Despite thorough cleaning before the run and multiple measures during the grow (Neem, Nematodes, Predatory Mites), the thrips kept spreading and finally took control. • The infestation has weakened the plants noticeably, reducing their potential and overall performance. • For the next cycle, I will need to take even stricter preventive steps to avoid a repeat of this issue. ⸻ Plant & Bud Development • Even though the plants were heavily affected, the buds themselves are still relatively solid: • They are compact, firm, and nicely structured. • The terpene profile is very appealing, with a rich and delicious aroma. • Yield will certainly be lower than expected, but there is still a chance for a satisfying end product. ⸻ Notes & Outlook • This run shows how devastating thrips pressure can be, even under careful preparation. • Nevertheless, the buds are giving hope for a decent harvest in terms of quality and flavor. • The plan now is to finish strong, harvest what can be saved, and then prepare carefully for a fresh, hopefully pest-free start. ⸻ 🌱 Day 54 – Thrips have dominated the run, but compact buds and great terps keep the outlook positive for harvest quality.

So had to adjust the weeks in the diary but here we are day 21 week 3 and they are starting to show preflowers and I’m greeted with a faint sweet smell every time I open the tent. Grew about 3” average week over week internode distance is compact, this variety stalk is tremendous in power tried twice to start lst and both times the plant managed to straighten it self upright within hours. After some debate I’ve decided that I’ll let her be an see what happens. The stretch has started almost 3” of growth in last 3 days Water with recharge and elementXX gonna wait till day 25 to hopefully see their effect on the plants So that recharge is amazing 2” of growth in less than 48hrs made me have to adjust the light height. So from day 21 till day 25 just over 4” of height gained. Next feeding I’ll start to introduce bloom and molasses. Morning of day 27 introducing TNB Naturals and turning on the second 600w LED, plants have seen explosive growth this week, tied some of the secondary branches down to allow better light penetration. I’m excited to see what the CO2 will encourage.

What a week it’s been so hot it’s been hard for the ac to keep up with the heat along with the heat the grow tents produce. Now with the big flower tent harvested the ac should be happy with me todo.

Hey folks. Into week 17, ran into some issues with plant #1 with total failure due to a windstorm and my laziness for not putting supports up sooner! Lesson learnt. Added bamboo stakes and supported most of the big heavy colas. Rain has been an issue so I slapped the ladies under the tent and a week ago sprayed some neem oil as preventive maint for powdery mildew. Iv cut watering in half due to the high humi levels and rain we been getting. Chop day is around thr corner! Hope you guys enjoy the content

​🌿 Journal de Culture : Mac 1 (Plante #2) – Début de Floraison ​Âge de la plante : J+31 (Semaine 5) Taille actuelle : 62 cm Évolution : +32 cm par rapport à la semaine dernière (croissance explosive !) ​On sent que le stretch est passé par là ! La plante a plus que doublé sa taille en une semaine, montrant une vigueur incroyable alors qu'elle entame ses premiers signes de floraison. ​📊 État de Santé & Observations ​Phase : Début de floraison. Les premiers pistils apparaissent et la structure se prépare à supporter les futurs buds. ​Manipulation : Aucune cette semaine. Je l'ai laissée s'exprimer librement pour voir comment elle réagissait à son nouvel environnement après le LST de la semaine dernière. ​Gestion de l'espace : Ça devient très serré ici ! La tente est pleine. J'attends avec impatience que ma Permanent White Marker termine son cycle pour pouvoir offrir plus d'espace à cette Mac 1 et à sa sœur dans une tente dédiée. Pour l'instant, on optimise chaque centimètre carré. ​⚙️ Paramètres de Culture ​Lumière : Toujours à 75% d'intensité. la croissance ajusté la distance à 55 cm de la canopée (contre 75 cm la semaine dernière) pour suivre sa montée et maintenir une pénétration lumineuse ​Climat : Paramètres stables, 24°C jour / 21°C nuit, HR 50%. ​Arrosage : Elle est en totale autonomie via le système Autopot. ​Nutrition : Uniquement de l'eau claire avec un pH de 6,3. Le mélange Biotabs dans le substrat semble encore amplement suffisant pour couvrir ses besoins, le vert des feuilles reste magnifique. ​📝 Résumé de la situation ​Le passage de 30 cm à 62 cm en seulement sept jours confirme la puissance génétique de cette Mac 1. La structure que j'avais aérée la semaine dernière a permis de garder un feuillage sain malgré la densité de la tente. I have added a new light and am going to try a super soil grow for the first time. I have a Mephisto Genetics Double Grape between paper towels and waiting to sprout. The space is about 18 inches by 24 inches. The ceiling slopes down, so I don't have much room at the rear of the space. For medium I am using Fox Farms Happy Frog augmented with perlite. The bottom third contains 0.5 pounds autoflower blend of a "super soil" additive from Nature's Living Soil. (https://amzn.to/2PUHc6k) I am using three-gallon cloth pots. The light is a Horticulture Lighting Group 135W QB V2 R-Spec LED kit. NUTRIENTS Tap water pH’d to 6.5. pH lowered using 1.5 TBS unsulfured blackstrap molasses and apple cider vinegar. One-half TBS of vinegar lowered pH about 0.5 points. The medium was very dry. Slowly watered to allow the moisture to be equal throughout the soil ISSUES My while I have yet to put the seed in the dirt, I am concerned about temperatures. They are currently running at about 86F. I would like to get it down to about 80F. DAILY LOG DAY -2: STARTED SEED * Started seed in my traditional manner. Between paper towels soaked in 5% bleach solution, 0.25 tsp/0.5 Cup water. Temp 82F. DAY -1: ACTION *The smallest of tip has appeared. Will put in soil in a few hours. Day 0: SEED PLANTED. * Refrigerator filtered water. pH 6.5. 1 cup (250ml) added very carefully. * Covered with humidity dome. * Light from Soil: 32.5” * Temperature: 82F DAY 1: SPROUT The sprouted seed has shown itself above the soil. A nice Christmas morning surprise. Now I can start counting the days. * Watered with about 200ml of water at pH 6.5. Used apple cider vinegar to lower the tap water pH. * I was pleased to find that my tap water does not contain chloramine. I was reading bad things about chloramine and "living soil." It can kill beneficial microorganisms. All I did was ask my water company and they replied saying "we found no mention of chloramine use in the system:" Just what I wanted to hear. * After looking at other diaries using 250W LEDs, I moved my light down to 25 inches. DAY 2: NO WATER FOR YOU * No watering today. There is plenty of water in the soil and I want the roots to stretch and work. * Working on increasing the humidity and getting more control over the temperature. DAY 3: WATER PLANT, NOT POT. ADDED MYCORRHIZAE. * Following the GrowWeedEasy watering suggestions for Kind Soil * 500ml water at 6.5 pH, around the plant and not across the full 3-gallon bag. * The fan gently moves the seedling to keep it strong. * Had minor unexpected run-off. I hope to avoid that in the future. * Added 1/8 tsp Great White Mycorrhizae dissolved in 100 ml of 50 ml water/50 ml molasses mix. Did not pH as it is such a small amount of solution compares to the watering earlier today. DAY 4: NO WATER, NO PICTURE * Nothing really new. So no reason for a picture. * The soil is dry on top, but the bottom of the pot is still damp. So I will watch it, but I don't expect to water today. * Adding a small intake fan has dropped the temps to about 82F, I think they can live with that. * A humidifier arrives tomorrow and I think that will be my last step to improve the environment. DAY 5: 500ml WATER, LOOKING GOOD * The plant is looking good. The second set of true leaves has a bend, but nothing to worry about. DAY 6: 500ml WATER. NEW HUMIDIFIER * It wasn't really necessary to water today, but I did simply to stay on the schedule I am using. * Given the lightness of the soil and the moving air, I don't anticipate any problems. * Added a humidifier yesterday evening. It's bringing the humidity up, but I need to keep the space closed and I'm a bit concerned about having to provide it with distilled water frequently. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WEEK ONE IN REVIEW ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * Watered with 750 ml pH's tap water. Watered slowly to avoid any runoff. * The plant is looking very healthy. It looks as if the roots are really starting to work as the plant is darker green. * Balancing temperature and humidity is tricky, but I think I will be able to get it stabilized with a bit more work. * Target Relative Humidity: Seedlings - 65-70; Vegging - 40-70; Flowering - 40-50 ==> Beginning Next Week I Will Only Post Twice A Week, Mid-week And End Of The Week. <==

Week #3: leaves are growing faster. I stopped adding root starter because of spots on the leaves; i don´t know why. She is having a new neighbor; my first magnum auto.

Much better harvest to end this first greenhouse grow. 48g dry on this plant. Still quite airy, but resinous and great smell. More relaxed effect than harvest 1. I could have done with another week or two with her, but the humidity was regularly into the 90s, there was very little sun and nearby tomato plants were starting to grow mold. I cut and ran, I need these meds to get me through the winter. Final total for both plants 59g. With a bit of luck, this should keep me medicated for a while. Indications are good.

They have been transplanted in 15l pots aswell as the rainbow candys. We will see how they recover. Its 50/50 plagron growmix and batmix.

It seems her internal clock did not persisted the issues with her roots as seedling. If you check on previous weeks, she had root problems as early seedling but did recover well but I thought that I've lost a week or more from Veg phase. Next end of next week she starts flowering and let's see the development!

🌸 Woche 5 der Blüte Die Early Skunks sind jetzt mitten in der Blüte und entwickeln sich richtig stark. Der Stretch ist so gut wie durch und die Pflanzen haben ein schönes, gleichmäßiges Blätterdach aufgebaut. Die Blüten werden von Tag zu Tag sichtbarer und setzen schon ordentlich Harz an. Das DWC-System läuft stabil: frische Nährlösung, klare Werte und die Wurzeln strahlend weiß. Genau so soll es in dieser Phase aussehen. Die Pflanzen nehmen sehr gut auf und zeigen keinerlei Mängel oder Stress – Farbe, Struktur und Wachstum sind voll im grünen Bereich. Das Klima bleibt konstant und das Setup arbeitet sauber zusammen. Licht, Luft und CO₂ greifen perfekt ineinander, wodurch die Pflanzen richtig Tempo machen. Fazit: Sehr starke Woche. Gesunde Pflanzen, satte Farbe, stabile Blütenentwicklung. Alles bereit für die nächsten Wochen, in denen die Buds jetzt richtig zulegen werden. 🌱🔥

Without a doubt the best bud I‘ve ever grown! I have nothing but positive things to say about the genetics of this plant. This was my first mephisto grow so very impressed. Buds are sticky and dense after weeks of 90-100 degree weather. No signs of stress or slowing. The plants tackled every hint of def or toxicity with ease. Got a little less yield than I expected, but not complaining as quality is incredible!! Buds dryed for 6 days and cured for 7 as of review. Very dense and sticky. Yielded 5oz dry A-bud, 2oz dry fluff, and 15oz of wet trim. Pressed the fluff with a 11% yield. Rosin is budder-like and smooth. EDIT: Later edited on aug 17 to provide cure update. —-smoke report—- The finished cured bud reeks intensely of diesel, raspberry, and hash! The smoke itself is light on the lungs and heavy in texture. Smoke hints at flavors of raspberry and caramel with sweet notes. High produces strong headband and couchlock effect. Potency is high without a doubt. Smoking a few under 30 day cured bowls produces a high for a solid 3-6 hours even at a high tolerance level. As of mid-august, the cure is complete and stone has intensified. Feels waaay more indica this time. Fully cured bud can knock a seasoned stoner the fuck out. Blew my expectations out of the water This was my first mephisto grow and it made me a diehard fan. Can‘t wait to grow more later in the year!

Papaya cookies are incredible! All the pistils turn purple, incredible beauty of this plant. We are so happy to have caught this extraordinary phenotype and are looking forward to an early harvest in about 2 weeks time.
