First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. A strain I’ve been very keen to get going! AK is a real classic and an iconic strain for me, I’ve given her a 5Gal fabric pot with BioBizz Light mix and I’ve added some beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi to support the infrastructure development. Off to a flying start, literally 72hours from seed to saying hello. Poked her head up yesterday so Day 1 is 30/03/20. Let’s see how this week goes. I plan to keep a close eye on the environmental conditions and to ensure she’s being fed some gentle nutrients, CalMag to begin with followed by some BioBizz Grow for the extra nitrogen needed at this delicate time 👌 See you all next week, I hope with more leaves to show 🌱✌️ Peace and love, stay safe

S8 Floración

Great week!!! What a resilient plant, a few different times now I’ve come up with issues, I attempt to diagnose and compensate with my limited growing knowledge and the thing just keeps coming back better and healthier and stronger then before. So far, I am very happy with this strain, Dresden Green Diamond from the Garden of Green seed company because it’s been so easy for a beginner like me and it’s going so well. Looks like they are either sold out or they discontinued the strain possibly I got them as freebies with my order on Seedsman but yea super happy with it. So on to the meat and potatoes of this week. I realized the biggest issue that I have now is going to be controlling the heigh of the plant. It’s only a 4 foot tent. The pot takes at least a foot of height space away, the light is currently as high as the pulley system allows and is still hanging down a foot from the top. (I may have to end up just juryrigging a new attachment system for it to get more space. Also the plant is now about a foot tall and the light is 10 inches away. I’ve heard that they can double or more in height during flowering which would be a problem. So what to do? I topped it this week for the first time. Hoping that will redirect some of the plants energy into developing the lower branches, of which I have a healthy number. So I’m hoping they will catch up with the top of the plant and I just have a bunch of top sites. There are also 2 new top branches starting to grow from the top site. As soon as they are big enough I will bend them at a 90 degree angle to try and prevent it from going any taller than this point. I haven’t got around to it yet but I will begin LST this week as well to spread the branches out a bit and have them more horizontal to fill up more of my space. Overall, things are going great.

WEEK 5 (DAY29-35) The Runtz are thriving so far. Both plants have developed eight evenly spaced shoots, and now I’m waiting for the flowering to begin. Additionally, I have trained both plants with hooks to create a beautiful canopy. I’m still excited and hope they continue to grow as well as they have so far.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Week 1 flowering - Day 5 of flowering & Day 61 of life Finally flowering here. It’s been 5 days on flowering, still pre flowering but finally the best is coming. Apple blossom is coming from the smallest plant in the tent to the one of the biggest. It’s in a 18l pot too as the lemon tree, so it should be bigger than thw others. It has many bud sides and looks promising. Let’s go

Well into flowering now. She is definitely a more indica phenotype 😭 I must have lucked out first time round with such a Sativa phenotype 😍 I'd love to know more on this side. The likely phenotypes, and how and why they come about. Also what is the likelyhood/prevalence of each of the phenotypes....... So many questions 😂 But anyway, she's looking absolutely fab. Flowers developing well so on she goes a few more weeks! 👌

Allmählich ist eine reguläre Triebform erkennbar, dennoch bilden sich die Triebe sehr langsam und eng anliegend aus. Sie fasziniert mich sehr und ich bin so gespannt, ob sie dann auch ordentlich so die Triebe ausbildet. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich die Pflanze entwickelt.
