My strawberry gorilla is really starting to be a pleasure to grow. At 1st I had it in a small tent with my gorilla cookies and the other plant was taking all the light and the tent was so small I kept having to cut back at both the plants so they would fit in the tent but now they are in the bigger flower tent by themselfs and man all the lollipoping did wanders for this plant it’s got some nice big colas. You could definitely get this plant to make huge colas if done right. Only my 3 auto so I’m figuring it out.

As you can see, I don't do heavy defoliation on my plants as I think it's not natural to shock them like that. I don't give a flying f@ck about yield. My philosophy is turned towards good flavors before all and I like to follow plants development in more natural way when comes to defoliation. I believe that plant will always adapt and focus on where energy comes from, and in indoor grows we all know that bottoms will get bleachy as we enter late flowering. On the other side, nobody wants mids and small buds, so yes, of course I remove bottoms, but only first few nodes and not in a way of lollipopping or something like that. I'm just trying to be in balance with natural process of plant development at all times. I'm not saying defoliation is wrong, but since I never grow the same cultivar twice, it's way safer to observe their natural behaviour, instead of forcing techniquies other growers are claiming to be "the best". With that being said, my plants are exploding from happiness, as you can see. I got two of more indica leaning phenotypes and two taller - more sativa alike specimens. But all have a distinctive OG structure and smell is getting super intense. It smells diesel and chem like no run before. It's the reason why I'm growing it in the first place. And what better way to try out the true OG than from the original creators of White Fire OG. Yes. If you didn't know Terence and Philip, in collab with Rascal, the real OG's, also known as Payaso and Cannabis Gardener, are behind the legendary OG cross and all the rest are just white labeling this famous cross. Know your genetics, brothers and sisters. There are too many copycats out there, so try to show respect to the origins. Noone can make a patent on a certain cultivar, but we as consumers, need to know who are we going to support in the future. Breeding is art and I like to pay respect to those who actually do the work of breeding. Just look at the Blue Dream for instance. Do we actually know who stands behind this cross and who has the original tissue of this genetics? Ask Google a little bit, dig in, and you'll be shocked. Show respect to those who truly deserve one. Just chopped last night. About 8oz wet weight. Did a good amount of wet trimming, will do a final manicure once it is dried. This grow has been an absolute blast - the girls were good to me and didn't give me much trouble. I am a man of variety, so I always try new things - so not sure if i will grow it again but if I had to, I wouldn't be mad at all :) Smoked some scissor hash it is sure was tasty! and strong - got me feeling reallllllly nice. Will update in a week or so when it is dried to report on the dry weight. And then some time after that I will report on the smoke once it cures :) UPDATE POST HAND DRY: The plants hung for 6 days, and have now moved into the jars. Dry weight of exactly 2oz. 51g buds, 5g trim. I had no idea that cannabis loses its smell a bit as it dries - so i got super worried at first, only to realize this is normal and the beautiful smell returned shortly. Will continue to update after curing for a taste/effect review. UPDATE ~ 1.5 Weeks into cure: Looking back it think I did too much dry trimming. It had been cold at that time, and I was paranoid about mold. It dried quite quickly, and I might have been out a day too long. I was aiming to get them in jars and have it sit at about 60-65% humidity - but when they went into the jars it never went higher than 54% and kind of settled down at 48%. But the buds aren't crispy by any means, so maybe my humidity meter was off. They do seem a little too dry though - and the buds are definitely quite airy. My grow light is pretty small, so I'm not expecting super dense buds. From what I've read, I'm worried they might have over-dried past the point of "curing"? Or maybe I'm reading too much into this, idk. This is all a learning process and I'm enjoying it regardless. It was my first grow so I definitely have room for improvement within my current setup. I couldn't wait to try it so I've been sampling throughout the curing process. The flavor and scent profiles are definitely changing, and for the better - but it doesn't have that same "dank" smell it had when she was a living plant. Not sure if that's normal, but probably just didn't have the best drying process. Obviously this early, I'm not expecting amazing taste and smell, so let's see how some more time does. I will say it gets me stoned, for sure haha. It's got a nice dark green, purple color too it with a decent amount of thichomes visible. Honestly, the smaller plant (#1) that I stunted early on has a better scent/taste already, versus #2 that looked so good. Not saying #2 is a bust at all either. It has this earthy, almost cheesy flavor profile. Interesting. Back to the effect - it worked to the point where I feel laser-focused writing this update haha. It definitely has a hybrid effect, with a nice euphoric uplift, while helping me relax and ease tension. I'll try to keep updating this as it cures!

Day 16: Some branches were tied down already. trying to get her to expand as much as possible. The previous training I did with a Dance World, ended up with a very bushy plant which did not allow a lot of light penetration. Day 18 : They were transplanted in a hempy bucket, I would like to play with it once more. I did not use layers only spike in the super soil. it follows the same recipes as the first transplant in week 2. Day 19 : They were both topped in order to keep 5 branches on each plant, I would like them to spread out as much as possible as they get so bushy. Trying to adjust from the first grow. Day 21 : They were tied down in order to start growing outwards instead of up.

Plants have enjoyed the scrog net for support also had a nitrogen build happen with two of the red hot cookies but got it corrected and plants looking healthier

Beginning of week 4 so far so good. The girls are reacting well to there training. Vita race from plagron is a game changer. They are super green and healthy everytime I feed them you see the difference.Did some defoliation. Nothing major just removed any leaf overlapping or blocking light to lower parts of the plant.

Heute Abend wird die Gute zerlegt und ihrer eigentlichen Bestimmung zugeführt. Erntedankfest Updates folgen... 21.06. Direkt an der Lady den Grobtrimm gestartet, ist für mich so angenehmer.. Gleich wird sie geerntet und aufgehängt. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist momentan recht hoch, der Luftentfeuchter läuft.. Hab die Triebe getrimmt und einzeln ins Zelt gehängt, Funzel aus, Abluft volles Rohr und Venti an...jetzt heißt es warten? Aber der Duft der beim Trimmen entstand, erinnert an diese gelben Lutschbonbons, super lecker👌

Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

Really sweet smell from this one! For now its my favorite plant from all 4 of them💪
