Harvest time!? Around 10 weeks and a bit into next week, and the entire journey from seed to chop will be complete. I grew this strain four times, and all four turned out completely different. The first one was huge with rock-hard buds, then there were two smaller plants that still produced a pretty solid combined yield, and now this last one isn’t very big either, but the buds are hard as a rock. You can even see in the photos how the branches are bending under the weight. Now all that’s left is to let them dry, then it’s finally time for the smoke test. Although I have destroyed my netting getting her cut the way I want to hang, it was well worth it. Larger limbs take a little longer to dry and that is what I need, a slower dry. For this reason I’m only removing larger and yellowing leaves. I’m hoping on 14 days in a closet controlled environment at 55% RH and 70 degrees F. Then it will be trimmed and placed into 1 quart mason jars with Boveda 62% TerpShield, and burped daily until a RH of 62% is maintained for long term storage. Overall Grow Review: With all environmental conditions met, this plant can get as big as you want it to. But to get big buds you have to carefully balance your nutrients to get maximum production. Reflecting back over the weeks, this is what ultimately caused the buds to be smaller than anticipated. I do not believe she was adequately feed during flower. This is a much bigger plant than I am normally use to growing, and I did not get into the habit of checking the solution PPM in-between scheduled weekly feeding changes. So when she started flowering I suspect she became a more heavy feeder, nutrients should have been changed twice per week or every 5 days depending. Only a guess. Would I grow it again? This is not my first Wedding Cake grow - so absolutely! Smoq Report: The smoke has a very strong effect that comes on slow and stays for a while! A nice head and body buzz that brings out talk and laughter. Nice for recreational or medicinal use. Chopped at day 75 just fans leafs out and full plant hang dry... at room temp 24 and HR 50 - 55 wich for summer is not bad :)

Thank you for reading! By the end of last week I finally had the light up to 100% power. I noticed a bit of curling on my one plant afterwards but I need to soldier on with it all the way up as the other plants are eating it up and loving it. I guess this isn't a true scrog, but I will continue to weave the buds and stems in and out of the net to try and keep as even of canopy as possible. I continue to remove lower offshoots to the nodes and I am really trying to focus just on sites that are getting enough light to make a decent nug. The tent is filling out nicely and I am loving it! If I touch the flowers to bend them under the scrog, my fingers STINK like a beautiful fruit. I can't wait to try this out and I am getting excited. I will continue to use the same nutrient solution mix for this week. As of 17 Nov I am starting to water 2x daily using the formula for 3part GHE listed in the picture above. After 12 hours I can see the 3 gal containers are pretty much dry from the last daily watering. Up to now I was watering everyday once (to runoff 2x a week to flush any of the excess salts away and allow my roots to stretch out a bit). Now that the roots have reached the bottom of the smartpots and fully sticking through, I am going to be watering to runoff at least 5x a week to make sure nothing is building up too much in the later flower weeks.
