Hello growers and welcome to week 6. I expect Queen Citronella to gain a lot of height this week. I will be doing the measurements shortly, but first I wanted to share some news! Queen Citronella has a new home, she hasn't moved in yet, but I'm working on it today. I will also be rearranging all the other grows and starting some new things off! I am not sure if I have mentioned it anywhere but I am using a 1.2m x 1.2.m x 1.8m tent.. I have just got a 60cm x 60cm x 140cm tent and a 300w LED. Her Majesty I hope will enjoy her new quarters. Day 36: I have lowered the light to 30cm above the tallest plants. Day 37: It is done! Queen Citronella resides in her own palace, while the rest of the plebs squat together in the communal living area. I have reorganised and moved my 4x4, mounting the carbon filter and duct fan properly in the center. Setup a 2 x 2 with a 300w LED and put the lights for both tents on the same timer (for now). I will measure and photograph Her Majesty a little later, including photos of her new home. Day 37: Added media. Height: 31cm. Fertigated 2l. Day 37.5: Alright she is really stretching fast, she grew almost 5cm in a little over 30 hours, A thought has just occurred to me; I could, if I chose to, put the Queen on a flower cycle at this point. Now I did want to do a full grow of clones, however we're talking something like another 2 weeks of veg then 2 weeks for cuttings to root, then I'd want to veg them for a few more weeks, maybe 2, 3 or 4? So that's 6-10 weeks before I start flowering. Then at least ten weeks of flowering, A week to dry, and at least a fortnight to cure. We're talking 20-25 weeks before I get to smoke it, that's six months! I probably wont be able to grow in the summer due to the heat. Now I already have the one cutting which I am hoping will root soon, which I can take forward, but I also have two more seeds. So, regretfully, I think I will change my plans. I will flower queen Citronella, starting on day 43. I still intend to do a full tent of Super Lemon Haze clones, but I think I will postpone that adventure until September. So this is now the final week or final five days of veg, she will spend the bulk of her last week of veg under a different light. We wont get much data on vegging (unless there is a significant change this week) but it'll be a nice trial run flowering with an LED light for the first time. Exciting! I am still waiting for the Epislon F1 seeds from RQS. I set their pot up today, inoculated, fed, and sowed some Dark Opal (Purple) Greek Basil and a liberal sprinkling of chamomile. I am going to germinate all five seeds in jiffy pellets and then put them all in the same 40l Day 38: I have realised Her Majesty was too tall to flower in this little tent so I snapped her neck a bit. I installed a photometer app yesterday and discovered I was blasting Citronella with 75 DLI so I raised to light up until canopy level was 40 DLI. The LED is pretty good. The HPS Dual Spectrum bulb in the main tent must be on its last legs as output was around 40 DLI for optimally positioned plants and 30 least optionally positioned. I could do to buy a new bulb. Identical replacement is about fifteen bucks, best one is about fifty. For that I could get another one of those LEDs which seems like better value. At the moment though I really need the heat. So I am thinking identical replacement. 4 days to flower cycle! Day 38.5: Replaced crappy old Dutch barn reflector with a much nicer angel wing model. Installed a significantly larger carbon filter into the main tent which has significantly increased air flow. The main tent vents into the bottom of Queen Citronella's tent, and from there and unfiltered duct fan in the far top corner exhausts it out. The exhaust pipe goes up the chimney. Why have I reorganised and moved the tents again so soon is because I was wasting power heating the little tent with the LED light, but the main tent has excess heat. Well this setup is working a treat. Citronella is sitting in a balmy 23-24 degree wind tunnel. Check out the little video of the changes. Day 39: I think her majesty likes her new quarters. It's going to be weird seeing her square in a few more days. We are 2 days into a "dry spell" I'm simulating for all my plants. Day 40: Dry spell ended. Fertigated 6l. Day 41: Fertigated 3l. Citronella's penultimate day of veg, she is going 12/12 from lights out after next. Photos taken 10:00 9/2/23. Current lights out is Citronella's last 6 hour night! Day 42: Start: Have performed pre-flower LST, HST, and defoliation. 24 hours to flower cycle. Day 42: End: photographed immediately before first 12h night. End of week summary: Huge week for Citronella. I think this LED light is pretty good. Change of plans regarding the grow and preparing her for flower. Let's see how she does.

06/20/2018 Did some supercropping on #1, Fimmed #4 she showing pre-flowers. ( #1,#2,#3) Not showing pre-flowers. #4 Fimmed because she gets stretchy 2-3 times veg height in my own experience. 06/21/2018 Longest day of the year today,applied potash last week, topdressed with Espoma tomato Tone tomato 🍅 3-4-6 with biotone

Buds getting big. Very good sweet smell. Remembers a little bit the Radical Juice smell.

Week 7 here we go They starting to show some colors as they are getting frostier and frostier 😇 tricomes still all very young and clear but getting there 🤫😈 Day 46 update : selective defoliation, they needed more air and light going around. A BIG hallo to You all my familly and usual visitors. Thank you for stopping by and all the likes and comments....You rule! I'm late with the update again because of the holidays and the Black Weekend shopping spree ;) So all the pictures were taken on November 25. Everything runs smooth, The Blue Cheese is truly catching some blue colored buds and leaves....the leaves are also yellowing a lot right now, that you have to forgive me ;) But it's ok because this lady has one last week befor finish. looking at the trichomes mostly they are cloudy with some amber and transparent both present, so i start flush any day now. The bright Mars Hydro TS 1000 is kept at 33 cm from the top of my plants is is running on full power. TS 1000 gives a full spectrum of light to the plants and you can see that... Mars Hydro did a very good job producing this lamp. Thanks to Mars Hydro for supplying the necessary equipment for this grow. That's it for this week folks, have a wonderful week.

Happy new year every one, The girls are doing okay I think the runtz and blue cheese are entring flowering stage. Our star is doing great, maybe some feeding issues or light burn. Otherwise they are doing great. 7.01.26 We are going into flowering already I have increased the light to 70% and left it a bit as the runtz go so long and still reaching to the light. Blue cheese have choose to be compact hopefully we will see her Stretching in the next weeks. And our star the one and only pineapple expresses is doing extremely well I love how she looks

Almost doubled her height this week!!!!!! Growing as well as she can. Getting quite rootbound in the cup. I'm thinking she will enter flowering in the coming week.

I love this strain. Really strong genetics. Nice fruity and og kush like smell. Cant wait to harvest and try them.

Good week for her 👌🏻 Lights got flipped today after 24 hours dark. Gonna switch to bloom nutes soon as She starts kicking out pistils. Go time 😁

4 Purple Push Pops PPP (grew 2023 outside). Clones from my clone guy 1000w LED, 4G Autopots,, coco/perlite 65/35, Jacks RO + dry koolblom and humic acid , RO water, AC pro Controller and T8, 5x5 GG Tent with extension Garage grow SoCal Another hot week in the garage averaging 88°. The girls are starting to get fat and enter the ripening stage. Purples are strong. I got purple trichomes!! We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. We switched nutes and reservoir funk is gone. This weeks accomplishments: Switch from GH to Jacks RO Install separate reservoirs for black cherry gelato and purple push pops Clean all autopots and reservoir lines. Install separate lines for black cherry gelato This weeks issues: Spider mites. Found them in the outside grow and found a few leaves with them inside. Big time nightmare. Primarily on the gelatos inside. Doing manual scouting and removal every day. Long term issues It’s hot. High 80s low 90s all week. So the same - Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing the spread of mites and mold issues during high humidity conditions Managing girlfriend expectations through harvest. Another fun strain to run from Fastbuds, Bruce banner was amazing at a total of 83 days , came out with some thick dense resiny coated buds , an very sweet smell! Has very tight buds with tight stems so it would def be better to tie her down an open her up for some LST ! I highly recommend y’all trying Bruce Banner out , you won’t be disappointed!!

Hey Friends, end of week 11 from seed ☺️ Not much has changed this week in the growth of plant #2. I noticed some orange on the leaf tips. This can be due to overfeeding nutrients or because I recently ran into a problem with my Ph meter, it broke so I had to purchase one at a local Hydroponics store, different model so it was giving me different readings. For example, after adding nutrients to the water, ph would read 4.5 - 5.0, with the old ph meter I would add 10 drops of ph up and it would rise to 6.0 - 6.2, with the new ph meter it goes down to 4.2 when adding nutrients and I need around 20-30 drops to bring the ph up to 6.0 +. The old ph meter was less expensive I purchased it for $15, and the new ph meter cost me about $60. I guess the new one gives me the correct reading. The plant was used to the old feeding dosage now it just needs to adapt to the new feeding. Noticed some of the top leaves had curls so I lowered light intensity. An increase in red stems so ill keep lowering the light to avoid too much strees Colas are growing in width Smell is slowly getting stronger, not sure what strain it could be but it looks and smells like cookies and og. No amber trichomes yet, maybe there is some already but its not very noticeable yet QUESTIONS How long before flushing?

Day 30 - 37: - first week of flower - no signs of flower yet - Day 36 Transplantation into 15 l Pots - lst all the way (could be better every 2-3 days) - 2l every 2-3

D106. At the start of week 10 of flower, we're just coasting toward harvest as the lower canopy is slowly dying. ------------------------------ D109. The girls are getting top-heavy and starting to fall/lean over, so I had to support a couple of branches. The leaves are also beginning to sag. Honestly, it looks a bit messy in the tent right now with all the leaning and drooping going on. On top of that, the top buds all look like mutant freaks due to light stress. Oh, well. I expected as much due to their insane stretch and being so close to the light. So far, only the first girl is undergoing senescence in her leaves, with the lower ones dying off. I've used a loupe to scout the trichomes, but so far, I have mostly seen clear or cloudy, with occasional amber here and there. Chop day is still off for at least a week or two. I gave each girl 2 liters of water @ pH 5.9 with FFJ and humic acid. ------------------------------ D112. We're at the end of the tenth week of flower and getting close to the chop. The funny thing is that the first girl displays full-on senescence with her leaves going yellow, but she only has the occasional amber trichome here and there, with the vast majority being cloudy and even clear. On the other hand, the second girl doesn't display any senescence at all but has a lot more amber trichomes. I'll continue to monitor the trichomes, but I guess I'll chop in a week or so. ------------------------------
