Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 10:45 AM D 62 -Ooof! Not really sure what happened but a couple of my plants got rocked pretty hard. I must’ve overwatered them. I bought a soil meter so I can check what’s going on. I’ll put some pictures up. Hopefully it’s still going to be some fire. The strawberry crinkle is kicking ass one of the blood oranges is looking good and smelling great but the other blood orange and the forum Stomper got hit pretty hard. The blood oranges leaves have started to yellow and the smell It had disappeared. The forum Stomper still smells good but its leaves got hit the hardest. -this is my first indoor soil grow. Before this I grew everything hydroponically and if I dealt with soil, it was all outdoors. I’ve also grown using cocoa so I had that as a reference. That was a mistake. Growing in cocoa is really hard to drown your plants. Drenching a plant that’s growing in soil is not a good idea. -It might sound dumb to some of you growers out there, but having a digital meter for your soil is awesome. I stick that thing in there and I stop watering when it tells me that it’s good, highly recommended.

Just gave alil recharge so far , besides having some water issues here (tap got funky funky) but had some rv water filters plopped onto the tap and all is in range ec/ph wise now. Issue averted atleast i caught it, got in the habit of checking PPM of the tap everytime just to be sure (I aerate 5gal of tap water as I use it to mix whicheve stuff I maybe using aswell. That's about the only major thingy that really happened. I am seeing some leaf variegation I hope it's nothing more serious havnt had any tmv before so I'll be keeping a tight eye. Fingers crossed tho, I do have a second started that was gonna ne ran without plagron but if she's sick I got a back up. Hoping it's nothing tho, 🙏 Until the next update , I'll throw more photos up as the week gets going. Thanks again for checking in, best of luck to anyone that's involved in this contest !! Really happy of the result

Today, day 23 was the last repotting. Girls went from 11.6L to a 20L pot. Now there in the right place. In fact, just 3/4 have beene repotting because I didn't have enough Lightmix :/ My order is late, and I'm not really happy with that 😡 I planned to top the girls on wednesday or thursday. It will depends on how they will recover. Actually, it's my first time with smartpots. If smartpots have a lot of advantages, repotting is not one of them ! I made a mistake : the plants were 60% dry, and abviously, it was not a good idea ! It should be clearly moist. Nextime I think I will water the girls 1 hour before repotting. I hope it will be ok and they will recover from this tough moment.... Will see in a few days 😰😨 Anyway, I have generously watered them right after repotting with no nutrient. Juste clear water with the right Ph. As they are in some brand new light-mix medium, I thought they have enough nutrient for a at least 2 or 3 days. D-25 : Everything is ok. Girls seems to have recover very well :) Anyway, I'll wait at least one more day before topping. The last Chocolate Haze (the one that was 5 days late), doesn't have 6 nodes yet and I would prefer to top each girls at the same time. D-26 : Repotting the last one and topping everybody. Fingers crossed for the next couple of days... I also feed the girls right after the top. During the topping process, the plants were reduced from 19cm to 12cm.

Sweet Bourbon Kush auto has exploded in growth in the last week. She got her second heavy dose of lst today. She is looking pretty strong, and healthy. Hopefully it continues. Week 11 has been exactly the same as week 10. There has been some light yellowing one Girl #1 and some of the hairs are starting to turn orange. The colas aren’t very dense. Girl#1 has been doing some weird fox tailing on all the colas.My temperatures haven’t been over 77 and my humidity hasn’t been over 55. I have seen this before in other diaries with other stains. Guess that’s just comes with the territory of ruderalis crossed strains. Can’t really complain cause this is my first rodeo with Autos so I’m just happy to have this experience. I officially think the delayed Pineapple Express auto might not even have the autoflower trait. It’s been 11 weeks and she hasn’t showed the slightest chance of ever flowering. This is really frustrating and deflating. I’m gonna definitely have to put this girl into 12-12. That will have to be after girl #1 is finished. I’m very appreciative of all who show your continued support and give insightful infomation. Can’t wait to see what this harvest will be. This is my first official auto grow. The XL Runtz are performing although one of the two also got stunted and is a little behind on her sister. I've been trying to balance everything. PH, temps, nutes.... With these smaller grow bags, the buffering capabilities of my super soil are less. Furthermore, this grow I didn't add the hydro corn, I didn't add the biochar either. The one 20 liter grow bag seems to perform a lot better while my experience is with auto's that anything over 15 liters should not make a difference. But the difference is: they keep their water better in the heat, they can buffer better and these are aspects that are important in a hot grow tent. The SP 3000 is still performing wonderfully! Very thankful for the opportunity to try it out and recommend this light to all!! So with this lesson learned I'm going to focus on better-growing auto's perpetually, I like how they perform and what they can yield in only half the time. The left one should be getting ready soon. The other and the Forbiddens will take two weeks I think... If they really recover. Thanks for dropping in again!!

Week 7 of flower, it seems that they are nearly done. Maybe 14 more days till harvest. The smell is now rich and dense, opening the tent means filling the whole room with terpenes.

I got a week and a half notice that I had to go on a work trip out of country for 10 days, so the clown show continued. I was definitely overwatering them. Thanks @shinsimilla, I saw the difference after waiting a few extra days. Also, I definitely should have started LST at least a week earlier than I did. Now for work issues: I found an old security camera that the cats had knocked over a million times and damaged. With a lot of tape, I got it working again and set up in the tent so I could see what’s going on while gone. Be warned, the photos are NOT good quality. I also looked up DIY self-watering systems. I needed it as simple as possible to reduce the risk of something breaking while I was thousands of miles away. I found one where it wicks water up a cotton or wool string. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/P0hn5cKZ0Z0 I cut up an old 10K shirt that was made of cotton. I had just broken down my balcony garden since it’s already getting cold here. I took two long planters, lined them with a construction garbage bag to be the reservoirs. Even though the floor of the grow tent is waterproof and I put plastic between the floor and outside of the grow tent, I didn’t want to risk any water getting out while I was away. I was nervous y’all. Basically, you wet the fabric then use a chopstick to run the it through the plant from bottom to top. It needs to be long enough to have a few inches sitting in the bottom of the reservoir. I filled each with 3L of water with the BioBizz nutrients mixed in and ph’d to 6.1. More info in week 5.

I say 56grams but I smoked like a quarter of the plant by the time it all was dry lol. But this shit stinks. In the dry tent I thought it was moldy and was gonna throw it out I couldn't see mold but God fucking damn it was giving off this strong ill call it odor. Lol my wife said it smelled like loud cheesy bud. Now in jars it smells cheeeeesssyyy af with alot of earthy undertones but not like too dry earthy if you know you know smokes great gets me higher than a mother and made some great butter usedbin cookies and something unknown yet lol. Check my sideways plant out lol

A mash up of the first 4 weeks of veg, time to flip.

This is week five of vegetative growth and the last week before I switch them to Flowering stage. So far the ABLE Grow Chamber is working as well as I could hope. I am growing three different types of Cannabis - Sapphire OG, GSC and one with unknown strain. The GSC was light burned early on and was very damaged but she pulled thru enough that I can make a clone or two from her. It wakes me happy knowing that the chamber can bring back a sick plant with minimal intervention from me. I have been training Daphni (name for the Sapphire OG) for a Sea of Green method and she is getting really good light penetration. For my Hydroponics I am using a Rain Forest 66 reservoir and it has worked well also. On 9-7-18 I made clones from Daphni in preparation for flowering in about 3 to 5 days.

Wow!! It was sunny and hot all week! You can see that they almost doubled their size and are looking pretty much more healthy. That is also because I followed @MadeInGermany 's advice and decided to wait more until I had to water. They seem to have liked that, beacuse there is no more sign of Ca blocking in the leaves. And they grew very nicely, no need of everything. Also following his advice I will use Cal/Mag in the next watering. But, you know, I'm making it cheap... so I will use another home-made recipe: wood ash fertilizer, which include those nutrients and some that are needed in flowering stage -which seems to be starting, so next week will have the flowering label-. It also degrades the N in the soil that could be still causing a little overfeeding (leaves' tips are a bit burnt). However, I admit that my mistake was overwatering from the beggining. Lesson learned! No watering for the whole week and the plnat didn't seem to worry about it. Man! If only it had been this sunny all the time! Plants look very healthier and are way bigger, with huge new leaves. A little amount of pistils showed up in the last days, so I guess it is the moment for stretching. Knowing that, I decided to do a little training on Sweet, as it is the one a bit behind. You can see in the last picture how I took a couple leaves that were blocking light from side branches-future bud sites- and taped them, so they didn't. If results are good I might do the same with Rebel, but I have a feeling that she'll do good without it. Sadly, next week will be all rainy and cloudy... Nothing to do tho. Any commentary will be thanked, even if it is about how cheesy the videos are! 😂

This was a wild ride. Gave way to many nutrients and I realised this way too late, when lock-ups already started to happen. The buds still look very potent, I just think they had way more in em size/potency wise if the nutrients would've been on point. Not growing auto flowers indoor anymore, but I'll deffo be growing this one outdoors this year! The smell is out of this world, #1 smells like tropical fruit juice, #2 more of a candy-sweetness but definitely tropical. Can't wait for ya'll to grow this one!

The creamatic and the gorilla are in 100% in flowering phase the northern light seem at 3/4 of her strecht I didn't water them Day 47 they was still full now they eating fast I discover some burn fan leave (the first one do i have to worry) I will watch them close this happen on the gorilla and creamatic maybe some phosphorus defiency , i will maybe consider flushing them

Hopefully I can sex by the end of this week. Either way I will be throwing into flower next week. Day 39: shortly after the photo shoot I trimmed the largest fan leaves off 1 & 2 to help promote some bushiness. Im likely going to kill #3 in the next day or two as I am almost convinced it will end up male. Day 40: Reservoir changed, lollipopped and defoliated
