Another week of slow growth has gone by, thought I end it with another round of topping on one of the plants. I'm looking to make up for the previous grow where I didn't top at all and it produced so little, hope I don't go overboard with things :D

Beginning of week... So the ladies are beginning to stack pistils at the crowns.. The Mandarin Cookies has been stacking a little quicker.. Thicker.. They both are showing purple tips on the stiples.. Not the pistils or leaves.. The stiples.. ETHOS Cookies has been showing that for ever now.. The Mandarin Cookies has just started showing these purple tipped stiples.. Gorgeous plants.. Even tho Mandarin Cookies is super freakishly tall and stretchy.. And the ETHOS Cookies is basically a runt.. Doesn't want to make ANY stems.. But plenty of leaves lol.. She should be able to hold up some super fat colas pretty easily tho so that's awesome! I stopped using the Armor Si and the FloraGro.. As well as the MYCO Plus (powder) stuff.. Also going down on the FloraMicro.. Just basically using 1 tsp/gallon of the CALiMAGic, FloraMicro, FloraBloom, and Kushie Kush.. 30 drops/gallon of the Floralicous Plus (not sure if that's too much to be honest).. 2 tsp/gallon of the FloraNectar Fruit-N-Fusion and last but not least... 2 mL/gallon of Hydroguard... *phew*.. Damn that's alot.. But that's alot less then what I was giving these girls... They should do alot better.. Mid week... I have defoliated the ETHOS Cookies a bit more.. Mostly trying to make sure there is good airflow and no larfy producing branches in there.. She should produce some really nice colas with how short and stubby she is lol.. As for the Mandarin Cookies, I've just been supercropping the shit outta the really tall branches.. I've never supercropped a plant so much lol.. And I'm not good at it at all.. Most of the branches are split open, bruised.. Just very crappy looking.. It will heal, they always do 😂 I just hate hurting them like this.. Especially in flower.. But it's still pretty early in flower.. And the pistils are still exploding just as much as the non-supercropped branches.. I can't wait!!!... End of week.. Both girls are exploding with trichomes! I love these super frosted strains! The ETHOS Cookies seems to be stackin calyxes faster than the Mandarin Cookies.. I can tell the ETHOS Cookies is gonna stack some fat ass colas! The ETHOS Cookies runoff is doing good.. pH going in is 6.2 - 6.3 and runoff is usually 6.0 - 6.2.. Foliage is nice and green.. She may be nitrogen sensitive deeper into flower.. Maybe not.. We shall see.. As for the Mandarin Cookies.. Wow.. This girl is super tall.. She is also stackin calyxes, pistils and nicely. The runoff is still giving me issues but as far as I can tell, she is accepting it and making the best of what she has. Going in pH is 6.2 - 6.3.. Runoff is coming out 5.6 - 5.7.. It's bothering the shit outta me! Lol.. It doesn't seem to matter what pH I put in, it will ALWAYS runoff at 5.6 - 5.7 pH.. But like I said.. She is accepting it as long as I keep the "in" pH in my preferred range.. I usually keep the "going in" pH at 6.1 - 6.3 the ENTIRE grow.. I always get great results doing this.. Its best for Calcium uptake and Calcium is a huge issue when it comes to growing in coco coir.. Anyways.. Both ladies are doing great.. Both look gorgeous and healthy.. Oh yeah!! I like to rub the trichomes to get a little idea of what the terpenes are gonna be like.. And hoooooly shit.. ETHOS Cookies smells like nothing I've ever smelled before.. I can't even begin to explain it.. Literally.. And the Mandarin Cookies is starting to give off a nice citrusy scent.. I hope this carbon filter is able to scrub the air enough.. Cuz if these are anything like the Early Lemon Berry, then yeah, this carbon filter is gonna be put thru the ultimate test lol.. Anyways.. On to the next week!....

Cut screen down now as all stems hardened and in place. Had a good shuffle around and as the Dos Si Dos 33 height was taking over the rest ive raised my lights and put the other 3 on top of boxes to raise up more level. Really pleased with everything, had to do a little late trimming as plants are all so bushy but now everything set for them to just grow freely untouched. Starting to fatten up and got plenty of top bud sights fingers crossed in for a good yeild and so far the quality is there. This Purple Punch has come on really well and is showing no issues and looks to be really healthy and strong

Cropped Thursday evening, 3/4 days before necessary for complete maturation. Better to lose 2 ounces of weed now than having the plant destroyed by the storm later on. Yeld is below the expectations. Wet weight after 1 day fro crop (buds cleared of leaves) 2.91 lbs (1320 grams). This is caused partially by my pheno (pheno #1 sativa-like, low yield and high THC) and by some mistakes I've done: 1- position in the garden (too close to the sisters) 2- I haven't considered the change in the sun's trajectory and inclination from August onwards. 3- too much LTS (but I was obliged to keep plants short and bushy) 4- underwater (this is my fault, I always tend to keep plants on the verge of thirst. I dug up the roots and the plant actually needed a lot more water). Now she's gone I'm more relaxed and concerned on Special Kush #1, the next week crop and Pineapple Kush the October harvest. Without Royal Gorilla the smell around the home is reduced by 70%. Dry trimming. All buds have been washed before drying and will be dryed very very slowly in a strictly controlled environment. Howdy! I have premixed 1L worth of PH adjusted nutrient solution which I am periodically syringing on top of the rock wool when it starts to get dry. I see some people only use RO water with cal-mag to start them off, but through my own unscientific opinion I figured 550 PPM won’t hurt considering seeds grow in soil and that isn’t exactly nutrient free! I am using RO water which I will keep in a 70 litre bucket ready for the DWC system once it is up and running. RO system was only £50/$80/€60 from the internet and it’s getting my hard water down to 0-1PPM from 450PPM. Growing my ladies in a smallish tent, 60 x 120cm which is 180cm high. Using one 315w LEC/CMH for the first two weeks, and then adding another 315w after week two. Using 4200k bulbs for veg, 3200k bulbs for bloom. Will take more pictures of the set up in the next week or so once the babies are in the 70 litre DWC Bubble System. Planning on buying Silica Blast to compliment nutrients in the next week or so. Ps, I believe this is the first DWC grow diary for Strawberry Lemonade, hopefully my mistakes and successes over coming weeks will help anyone who reads this! 🌱

Hello, this is the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 of flowering. Things are going good in here this week. Got some canopy mites for the thrips damage I've seen on some leaves. You can see the little glass jars I used to hold the bran they come in the picture under the table. The canopy mites eat the bran mites while they are in the package. Got in here and did some LST and some fanleaf removal. I also removed the sucker branches. They take energy away from the plant. I guess when they activated the Growdiaries 2.2 I couldn't log on for 5 days and got discouraged and didn't report last week. The site didn't even work right. There was about 30 pictures when the home page was up, but all the other pages were without content. Somehow my operating system didn't get through. But they fixed it and I'm here now. Plant #1 smells wonderful, Sweet Lemon candy and I can smell the papaya in it too. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Week three and the plants are doing better, still some signs of nutrient burn but the new growth is coming though lovely. Temperature has dropped this week outside and even with an extra heater I can only achieve 23c. I’ve re topped a few plants to try and maintain an even height and let the smaller ones catch up a bit. Apart from that all I have done is take some burnt leafs off and watered with de chlorinated water at 6.5 ph, the “all mix” pragron soil is very hot compared to the light mix. I’ll probably stick to using light mix once all the all mix has gone

Week 6 Veg Their last full week in the veg tent before they'll be flipped to flower. The Surf Purp siblings are looking very healthy and showing different traits and structures allround. I'm thinking #3 could be a man as it's growing quicker and taller than the rest. It's not a reliable way of sexing, and could still be female so until we see it's flowers, we won't know for sure. Remo Micro and Grow have been increased, along with MagNifiCal to see how they react. By the end of the week they seem to be in perfect health. I regularly move them around the tent and turn them daily to ensure the entire plant gets an even amount of light, promoting even growth from all of them. This is to ensure each plant keeps a level canopy and doesn't start to lean to one side when growing towards the light. Looking forward to getting these in flower! After 4 days of heavy rain, the first mold appeared... So I spent about 18 hours searching for plants and picking out mold with tweezers After last year's experience with another seed bank, I expected the plants to be very affected by mold, but I have to say that Fast Buds genetics coped very well! Mold appear mainly on blisters to which the stem of the leaf leads water, which then collects between the stem and the blister I trimmed the plants more so that the air flows better and that water does not stick to them The plants look healthy and the flowers are gaining strength Especially the dark purple phenotypes look very dense and hard. it also looks very resistant to mold Very pleasant sweet fruity scent I haven't seen my children for 3 days, it's raining extremely ... the last time I was chased out by swarms of ants in the early evening, I've never experienced this before, there were maybe a million of them and they sat on me and on the plants I'm finally going to visit them tomorrow, I expect I'll have a lot of work to do with mold and I hope the swarms of ants haven't harmed them in any way

On to week 3 and everything is going very smoothly so far! All three have popped pistils so I gave them a top dressing for flower. Not doing much besides watering them when dry and training a little here and there. Very happy with how everything is going.

9/10: New week- these young ladies seem like a pair of identical twins I'll prolly transplant both of them in the next few days. 9/11: I waited to long to transplant them and they have root problems to some degree or another...too wet for too long. I transplanted both of them into 3 gallon pots and observed about 50% brownish roots.. 😕 I powdered the planting holes with myco, tricho, and other goodness. 9/12: Between the root problems and the transplant, they looked horrible, so I sprayed them with BoomBoom Spray today and will do a good root drench tomorrow with BushDoctor Boomerang. They looked better by the end of day, but still have a ways to go to get back on track... 9/17: I fed them boomerang only twice this week, and gave also them kangaroots yesterday. They are both looking strong, and branching well. I'll prolly flip to 13/11 with emerson effect in the next couple of days.

Hello.........Ladies are going into the final weeks!! It is absolutely awesome to see and smell this every day!!! Did not water them for one day, and they were really thirtsty today. I will give them 2 weeks minimum, at the end of the week I will decide when to cut nutrition. I hope they keep on inflating like last week. Buds are really quite frosty and I was checking weather report and I seem to have perfect timing for harvest, which is absolutely great. This strain will have such an interesting aroma..... I dont know if it is clearly visible from the photos, but the buds will show some nice different colours. So if they finish on time it will be absolutely high grade in every aspect. Looks, smell and taste/turn. Still I will have to be quiet patient until testing, but this is going to be the most anticipated weed since I dont know when.

30.4.25: This worked out very nicely 👌 I just found Ecothrives' new, Trace! I was looking for Cal-Mag with no NPK. I came across this, I'm genuinely so excited to get using this! Ecothrive has the best products, hands down. As fate would have it, the plants are looking pretty dry! I'm going to be watering with the Trace and Biosys. Let's see what happens 😁 6 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 contained: ♡ 3ml of Ecothrive Trace ♡ 1/4 Tsp (2.4ml) Ecothrive Biosys Let's see how we're looking in a few days after the first Ecothrive Trace application! The plants received 3 litres of this feed each. PPM: 475 PH 6.0 1.5.25: I mixed a foliar feed with my new Ecothrive Trace. I filled a 250ml spray bottle with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with 4ml Ecothrive Trace. I used the entire bottle in 3 plants throughout the course of the day. The fan is very strong, so it didn't take long to dry. However, I did keep the lights dimmer to ensure no leaves were burnt. Additionally, I spent more time than I care to admit massaging the foliar spray into the leaves 😅 I also moved the LED lights up as Northern Lights is still stretching. Par was about 600-700. Which may be too much. I'll keep an eye on it. I also watered with 1.5 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 to Northern Lights. 2.5.25: I watered 1 litre today. With Greenleaf Nutrients Bud Explosion PK booster 1/2 Tsp dissolved in dechlorinated water PH'd to 5.9. PPM came out high at 1300, so I watered another litre through just plain, PH'd to 6.2. 5.5.25: FastBuds Mystery seed #1 is focusing on bud building. There are certainly chunky buds beginning to form here! 😍 She has pretty well stopped stretching, and so she's shorter than Northern Lights, which is still growing vertically, this is a little unfortunate as they're no longer a Sea Of Green. Unless Northern Lights is a tidal wave 😅 So because the canopy is no longer uniform, the lighting is difficult to dial in. Which has never been my strong point. Her leaves are still very dark. I'm going to top dress with Ecothrive Life Cycle, but because of the darkness of leaves, I won't add the Ecothrive Charge. Which is mainly more vegetative growth needs. Which will contain more nitrogen, which we certainly don't need any more of at this stage. Plant top dressed with; ♡ 2 Tbs of Ecothrive Life Cycle ♡ 1 Cup Worm Castings ♡ 1 Cup Canna Coco ♡ 1.25 Cups Perlite I watered in with 2 ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 containing .25g of Ecothrive Biosys. So far, she's doing great, I've never grown FastBuds without topping them, so maybe they will grow taller without that training technique. We will try that with our next FastBuds strain. I'm not sure when I'll grow another FastBuds as I've got the rest of the year booked up. The tent is in demand! 😅 Nonetheless, they are always sturdy plants, which is great, of course. This next week will just be monitoring of excess/ deficiency of nutrients and probably another foliar spray of the new Ecothrive Trace. I have removed a few fan leaves at the lower canopies. Hi liebe Community! 💚 Nach der dritten Blütewoche bilden sich die Stigmen rasant aus Trichombildung nimmt langsam an Fahrt auf. Bereits bei meiner regilären Version konnte ich beobachten, das das Icing bei dieser Sorte sehr früh Eintritt und sich dann auch rasant ausbildet. Die Blütenbildung ist sehr kräftig und der süße Geruch nimmt auch rasant zu. Außerdem habe ich nun nochmal die Sonnensegel zurückgeschnitten. Ab jetzt werden keine Triebe mehr abgeschnitten und die Pflanze kann sich jetzt voll auf die Blüte konzentrieren. Die Sanlight habe ich nun auf die stärkste Stufe eingestellt und weiter hochgesetzt. Nächste Woche bekommt die Pflanze noch einen PK Komposttee.
