Yes I would say 60% of plants DO NOT like a massive defoliating. But, the ones who do , you will unlock a yeild like never seen . It's the risk we take . One thing I have noticed is when I'm gonna defoli , I don't combone high stress or toping + a bunch of other techniques . Should have some pretty huge plants by two months ! The start was easy as it gets just add water the first 20 days and LST every day. When i saw some of the lower leaves start to change color that's when i started to add nuits. after that it was just following the instructions foxfarm already had laid out for me. I cut back by half in the start of my feeds but by the end of my grow I was at full strength. Testing your run off is key. Cropking send me great seeds and genetics is a great foundation and starting point. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was very happy I got almost 5 ounces off one plant.

Germination 07/09/2022 Hi to all the old and new growers out there. Spring has barely started but I'm so AMPED to start again. My first grow attempt was a disaster. I started to early for the season. I wasted some good seeds and those Blasted 🐌 🐌 snails messed up everything. Got up started again and took it as a learning curve. I had 1 seed left from the previous attempt and this had to be the golden ticket. The first important thing I learned was getting to the correct pH. Used a 1 liter jug not knowing that the pH down was very concentrated substance. Added 1ml of pH down to tap water with a base of 8.5+ pH and brought it down all the way to less than 4.5 pH. I probably tried like 5 times and realized that a single drop made a difference of about 2 pH. I got the feel of it and had to source a better water supply. I had the option of using tap water but didn't have the time to do a 24 hour airstone run ever time I wanted to water the plants. The local water supply shop was a better option. I got a consistent 6 pH and the price was decent. The Snail 🐌 Problem... I have a plan for those F**kers. We have 2 very nice hydroponic shops in my city. The girls bounced back very nicely from their topping! They are growing out, rather than up and are on their way to filling out my tent. I will be transplanting these ladies next week, probably to a 4 gallon tall pot. I am thinking I want to flower sooner rather than waiting the typical 8 weeks of Veg that I usually do…

70 Days have passed since I started this diary 😏. Its week 10 and she has reached max level. I've started flushing 3 days back and gonna continue till the end of next week. Gonna give her a trim soon so the the sun can shine on those smaller buds for just a while. Time goes so fast :)

My gorilla cookies plant from fastbuds is a really sturdy plant and it grew so much so fast it’s only my 3rd auto so I’m still getting down nutrients for autos they seem to use more than photos. The plant smells really strong like skunk. The buds are starting to fatten up and get tricombs. This plant has tons of potential for someone that knows what’s their doing with autos. You could really get it to stack a bunch if you did it right

So it’s been another week of just keeping an eye on the environment my temps are a little higher than I would have liked but keeping the balance with humidity so should be ok, there’s a little yellowing under the canopy pretty normal but a little early in my opinion so got that to watch and maybe up the nitrogen. All the bottoms were stripped some selective defoliating is due next week and one after

I just took them out of the veg tent and transplanted them into Dutch buckets. #2,3, and 4 are females #1 is undecided. Only one will come outside in the end, I think.
