Another Master Grower in the Family!
Please, give a round of applause to the celebrity of our growerhood, a person who has helped so many people with his wise advice, a Grower who contributes to the community an incredible amount of time and dedication @BigDaddyK ! Eleven Diaries down, twice Grower of the Month, three times 'Diary of the Month' winner, but who is this guy?! GrowDiaries conducted some investigation to find out who is this person that takes all the contests prizes; we put on wigs, sunglasses and traveled to our laptops to chat with @BigDaddyK and that's what he told us.
Q: Tell us about yourself. Who are you? What do you do?
A: I am 45, I live in England, I work in healthcare
Q: Do you have any favorites; a movie, a music band or a strain, perhaps?
A: My favourite band is queen, world lost a legend in Freddie, my favourite film is Happy Gilmore, my favourite strain is super silver haze
A: I started growing in the late eighties, I just took the seeds out of the weed we bought ,they were terrible lookin' back .
A: my firs setup was with a Turkish friend of mine it was comical we borrowed a sodium light from a local building site, put a shed inside my garage, dropped in some seeds and away we went, they were growing lovely until some kiddie we knew (who my Turkish friend told about our plants, got busted with eighty wraps of speed, and sold me out.i got community service for a year, but I learned a lesson, don't tell anyone.
A: I looked on the internet, @TaNg is the inspiration, I watched some of his videos, then stumbled into GrowDiaries, it seemed a lot simpler and more user friendly, and you actually saw the grow cycle
Q: Are you willing to share your knowledge across the community of growers, and if so, what are your means?
A: my knowledge is here, I wanted a place to keep my pictures, as one day I'll be gone, the reason I DWC is it's so simple.
Q: These days, being a marijuana grower requires a certain level of discreetness. Are you open about your interest in cultivating cannabis in your everyday life?
A: no I don't even smoke in front of anyone, I think it's got to stay private, it's a shame.
Q: Some say that decriminalization of marijuana is much saner than legalization for the society in general and especially for local marijuana businesses. What are your thoughts on a such a rapid legalization of marijuana? Is it a good thing in your opinion?
A: I think they have no right to stop you growing a natural plant on your own land, the average garden has about 10 plants that can kill you so I don't understand what the issue can be.
Q: Obtaining a Master Grower status requires a lot of time and dedication to the GrowDiaries community. What made you contribute so much effort? Does our website help you evolve as a grower?
A: wow I didn't expect it to happen, I saw Tang, I was about 500 I think ,and I started to get lot of messages , and every time I logged on , I had a look at a couple of diaries , and wow , I'm here , I'm grateful to all the people I have spoken with, it would be great if one day we could all meet and smoke each other's
