Actually I'm still several weeks away. These girls are going strong and growing daily. I'm going to go with a combination of the Terploc bags and the taller jars. I think the suggestion of using the tea jars has good merit. Not only are they bigger, the spout can offer as a burp valve. Will keep y'all posted. No worries on the early pick ... there has been no change of trichome color change, just increasing abundance.

My grow is coming in VERY heavy. I still have 3 weeks left and have tied the colas up for stability. What are some suggestions for keeping these babies upright when they become unexpectedly HUGE.:grin:

I've got 2 Purple Queens and 2 Gelatonades growing with Hydroponics in a 5 x 5 tent. It's my second grow and I'm very optimistic. Without a ton of experience, I've tried a bit of everything on both strains and they've both been very happy. I vegged for a long time to get to know the process. I just went to flower 3 weeks ago and the entire tent is filled with flowers. They seem to be about a week behind yours. That said, I may have spent too much time in vegetation. I had heard around 55 days was optimum for most strains. Although, with a 3 week minimum, you get going. It looks like you had a short veg time. My question to you is what drove your decision to go to flower quickly? I'll be following your grow and like your detailed diary. I've been lame and not been as active as I should in here. I do want to maximize my process and like to follow the strain and the methods. Anyhow ... I can't wait to hear about your yield and share stories when I harvest. I expect I will flower for 5 more weeks and look for my maximum yield. Loving the Purples and this Gelatonade ... WOW ... pretty girls. :blush:
