<span class="link_user">@Prilyfe13</span>, , As is said in my answer that you didn’t reply too it’s harder to fight root rot with beneficials, than to run a sterile system. This is a 2 way street dude if you don’t acknowledge my advice I can’t help you. You want help, like the comments and reply to me so I know you’re taking it in… You can also have a Cyanobacteria infection that can also lead to root rot, btw Pythium is everywhere you can’t hide from it only prevent it. Just like bud rot, you breath in the molds that effect our plants everyday…. You need to clean your system with H202 first. While cleaning you need to submerge the roots in a bucket with 1-4 or 1-5 H2o2 solution for 15-30 mins (1L of H2o2 4L of water) do not worry about PH when your dunking the roots. After that you use the H2o2 as an additive to your water every 2-3 days 5ml/Gal or water. You can no longer use Hydroguard for your Reservoir and it’s not good for foliar. If you can get sea kelp product (Ascophyllum nodosum) Mix that with some Calmag full strength and foliar feed that while your plants recover and grow new roots. Also when did you start adding hydro guard? Because it looks like your plant bounced back for a minute after you cleaned everything. This could also be delaying the inevitable. You could have maybe carried on battling it but you would need to add more and more hydroguard and eventually the root rot could win and you’ve just poured money down the drain. You could use it in your next run from the start to build up a beneficial colony on/in the roots. Fighting 1 thing vs another is always hit or miss. Better to just kill the problem and stop It from coming back. H2o2 gives more oxygen to the root zone also which is another benefit with a warmer tank…. Do as you will, I’m just trying to help! <span class="link_user">@PharmaZ</span> Mostly to keep the brown stains at bay. I can&#039;t tell if it&#039;s from the nutrients or something else. but I know Hydroguard helps with cleaning the roots.

I&#039;m still keeping the first seed and will do that run. I&#039;m only doing one plant this run. I wanna see how big I can get a photoperiod
