A high pH prevents the plant from properly nourishing itself. Consequently, it doesn't absorb the necessary elements. Water generously. The entire soil should be moist. Don't be afraid to overwater. Your soil is like Mars, without a drop of water. And don't water with plain water. Don't alternate it with clean water. Always water with nutrients. Try to keep the soil moist!
