I agree one other obvious sign of whether or not its been flushed or not is the color of your ash when you smoke a joint. If its black there's still chemicals present if its white your most likely clean. And like you said your lungs don't lie they know what's harsh and what isn't. To be honest I talk a big game but following through with a really long cure is incredibly hard and honestly I still end up liking the flavor although it does seem to get better with age.(it just seldom makes it that far )but I do cure just not for a very long timeand I have recently started flushing way later because I changed the way I feed i switch to all organic about three weeks before harvest and stop feeding all together the last week. It has worked out well for me so far@AsNoriu,
