Hokuzan has been a fantastic strain to grow from start to finish. She showed strong vigor throughout the entire cycle, handled the flowering stage without any issues, and remained healthy under stable conditions.
One of the biggest highlights is undoubtedly the resin production. By the final weeks, the buds and sugar leaves were completely coated in trichomes, giving the flowers an exceptional frosty appearance. The purple coloration that developed late in flower added even more visual appeal.
The buds finished dense, sticky, and well-structured, with excellent bag appeal after drying. The aroma became richer as flowering progressed and continued to improve during curing.
Overall, Hokuzan is an easy cultivar to manage, rewarding growers with beautiful flowers, heavy resin coverage, and a smooth growing experience. I would definitely grow it again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a resin-rich cultivar with outstanding visual quality.
