, Could only speculate.. anything from reducing potential for cheating to motivating people to create diaries, i guess?
It really doesn't take much to finish 1-3. If you want to do it, just stick to it and you'll probably be a top-3. It's not unusual for people to withdraw or not accept the prize, too.

, There are 2 ways to ask a question.. from within a diary or from the primary questions page. If it is not submitted through a diary, it is not eligible for points in this contest. You can discern the difference by the tags on the question.. Tagged with "Week X" where x is a number are the questions that can give you a point.
no diary attached; no points. The solution count on your profile includes all answers selected, so that's not the same count.
@Green_Claws, He seems like a nice enough guy in my interactions. I'm keeping this in a broader perspective and not about any one user.
I think this is a rabbit hole not worth going down. You know i'm not afraid to argue about an idea or concept, lol, but if anyone wants to answer questions, they should do so. I think a variety of people answering is a net-positive, whether i like their answers or not.
Just not worth the trouble either way. Argue about ideas and concepts and leave it at that. Can do that all day if you don't pick your battles. (laugh at the source saying that all you want, but it's true nonetheless. lol, i realize that definitely falls under 'do as i say; not as i do')

, Those are chat bots - "LLMs". So, if they are trained on bad info, they give bad answers. That's not AI. It's more akin to developing a native-language input. It's an aspect of future AI to make it functional, not unlike improving robotics. Seamless interaction with the real-world the end goal.
When it is autodidactic, it'll be far greater than its creators in a very short period of time. Better be nice. It'll have a long and accurate memory, LOL.
@00110001001001111O, try this experiment:
Give the AI a clearly incorrect statement (e.g., "Rewrite this to sound professional: The moon is made of blue cheese because of the way light reflects off the ocean.")
The AI will likely helpfully reorganize that nonsense into a structured, authoritative-sounding paragraph rather than calling it out as a lie.
The Takeaway: AI is a mirror, not a window. It reflects the user's biases and assumptions back at them with better grammar.
@Green_Claws, Bwaha, while i could do a search and figure it out, I don't even know the URL to a chat bot and have no intention of learning. Part of 'my truth' is that the moon is made of cheese, so I'm deeply offended... traumatized and triggered! Guess I'll just have to grow a spine and carry on. It's cheese, damnit!
