It's a pain in the ass to determine the next irrigation, it's less than ideal for root growth.. tiny plant, big pot is a bad idea for many reason even if you can 'get away with it' most times. If these standard time-tested methods cause any droop, it means the soil needs more perlite or similar added next time. * - frequency can vary a bit (how much dryback you wait for), but some minimal dryback is necessary to avoid elevated rootzone risks.
