BioFabibeantwoordde groei vraag 2y ago I had the same issue and tried various solutions:
- passive dehumidifiers (cat litter and rock salt) - no noticeable difference
- additional fan - minimal impact
- increased power for the exhaust fan - slight to no effect
- exhausted air out of a window - minimal effect.
- changed room ventilation habits - temporary change
In the end, I decided to invest in an active dehumidifier that blows dry air through the fresh air hole in my tent. This has allowed me to maintain a relative humidity (RH) of around 40%. However, be cautious as blowing air directly into the tent can raise temperatures by 4-5°C, so it's important not to stress your plants. Also you might notice the change with your next electricity bill.
Lower humidity has proven beneficial for my plants though, as they subjectively showed accelerated vegetative and bud growth.
Hope this helps! If anybody got a better solution, please share it with the community! 🙏
