Which product do you think is better for strengthening plant stems to hold up those heavy buds a simple affordable Silica additive or the expensive form Silicic Acid ?

Most nutrient brands will contain some sort of silica. You don't need to buy every product available! Indoors the stems will never be the same as on an outdoor plant but you can give them plenty of wind from an oscilating fan and support them 🌱👍

Hello, I think any silica is a good choice, however not all brands or types are created equally. Personally i would go with a granular silica because it breaks down over time versus having to be added into every watering like a bottled silica. It also does much more to the soil than a bottled version like helping to retain water. But if you're a hydro grower some silicate is better than not at all.

2700ppm Finally got myself an EC meter Gave 2L of RO water at 5ppm and the runoff was at about 2700 ppm?? The soil I am using have slow release fertilizer in it and assuming I can’t replace it what can I do??

TDS I’m on week 6 today. Is this a good TDS reading or should it be higher/lower? I have the unit set to 500 ppm . I used 5 ml/gallon of tiger bloom, 2 ml/gallon of bud candy & big bud. I also added 1 tbsp of epsom salt to lower the ph in my soil.

Accidentally poured 2mL of "Grow Big" into "Big Bloom" bottle.I absentmindedly put 2mL of FF "grow big" directly into the bottle of"Big Bloom" (the murky one with bat guano). Is there going any type of reaction that will create products that would be unsafe for my plants? Haven't taken chemistry yet. Is it ruined?

Nitrogen claw in hot soil. To flush or not to flush - that is the question!Think my plant's suffering from nitrogen toxicity because some of the leaves are clawing and have yellow tips. Must be the hot soil because I haven't fed her with any nutrients. Should I leave a few days and see what happens or is it worth flushing the soil?

Ensuring nutrient solution isn't too strong for coco Is there a way I can make sure my nutrient solution isn't too strong while I save for an EC meter? Should I just go off CANNA's chart and use the lower values? If anybody could point me in the right direction or show me a good canna coco chart that has worked for them, please do!

AN SensI Grow / Bloom A+B interchangeable?Looks like I’ll run out of Bloom at some point and I have lots of Grow left so wondering: Since part A is 3-0-0 for grow and bloom, are they interchangeable? Could I almost double up Grow B and get a Bloom B? 1-2-6 vs 2-4-8 I’m feeding at half mix rates anyways. Or bad idea? TIA
